Disappointed it doesn’t play the movie
I get that this is a render test, but it’s a big disappointment that it just shows you a tiny array of little frames instead of actually playing it out at whatever frame rate full screen.

Benchmark won’t start
I use 3DMark extensively for my PC since I overclock my rigs and I love their benchmarks and stress tests. When I saw their new mobile device test I decided to give it a try to see just how bad my aging iPhone 7Plus was performing.
Unfortunately, the benchmark won’t get past the loading screen of the character holding the scanner or whatever that device is. The loading bar at the bottom won’t show any progress at all and the app will just sit in the loading screen indefinitely until I force the app to close. It does this for both the regular and Unlimited offerings.
I’ve tried restarting the app, restarting the phone, and reinstalling the app. Nothing works. It’s possible there is something wrong with my phone but it runs everything else I install on it without any problems. This is the only app I have on it that is not working correctly.

Could you please update to the latest version of the 3DMark Wild Life benchmark app and try running the test again? Please let us know if the issue persists.
GREAT APP
I love this app so much. If you could, in the future, add a even harder stress test? I run the wild life extreme on my mac and it is locked at 60 fps and it needs something more challaeging. Please desighn a harder stress test! But beside that, i love this app.

Do you want to use 3DMark to benchmark your PC performance for gaming? This post from MiniTool Partition Wizard tells you what tests 3DMark includes, the 3DMark system requirements, and how to get the 3DMark download.
Introduction to 3DMark
3DMark is a computer benchmarking tool created and developed by UL to determine the performance of a computer’s 3D graphic rendering and CPU workload processing capabilities.
Running 3DMark will produce a 3DMark score. A higher number means better performance. Therefore, many gamers pay attention to the 3DMark score when they build a PC for games.
Many versions of 3DMark have been released since 1998. The latest supported 3DMark version was released in 2013 and it is the first version with cross-platform performance comparisons, allowing users can compare scores from Windows, Android, and iOS.
Tips:
- Scores cannot be compared across versions as each test is based on a specific version of the DirectX API.
- Since the latest 3DMark version was released in 2013, more and more new features are added to this software as upgrades, but no new separate 3DMark version is released.
3DMark features separate benchmark tests with each producing its own score. Some of these tests are as follows:
- 3DMark Time Spy: A DirectX 12 benchmark test for Windows 10 gaming PCs.
- 3DMark Night Raid: A DirectX 12 benchmark for laptops, notebooks, tablets, and other mobile computing devices with integrated graphics.
- 3DMark Fire Strike: A showcase DirectX 11 benchmark for modern gaming PCs.
- 3DMark Speed Way: A DirectX 12 Ultimate benchmark for gaming PCs running Windows 10 and 11.
- 3DMark Wild Life: A cross-platform graphics performance benchmark for Windows, Android, and Apple iOS.
- 3DMark GPU Stress Tests: It measures your system’s Frame Rate Stability.
- 3DMark DirectX Raytracing feature test: It measures pure ray-tracing performance.
- 3DMark Mesh Shader feature test: It shows how game engines can improve performance by using the mesh shader pipeline to efficiently cull geometry that is not visible to the camera.
- 3DMark PCI Express feature test: It measures the bandwidth available to your GPU over your computer’s PCI Express interface.
- 3DMark Sampler Feedback feature test: It shows how games can boost frame rates by using sampler feedback to optimize shading operations.
- 3DMark VRS feature test: It helps you compare differences in performance and image quality when using Tier 1 and Tier 2 variable-rate shading.
- 3DMark NVIDIA DLSS feature test: It lets you compare performance and image quality with and without DLSS processing.
- 3DMark Intel XeSS feature test: It lets you compare image quality with a side-by-side view of Intel XeSS and native-resolution rendering.
- 3DMark Port Royal: It shows you how well your PC handles ray tracing effects in real time.
- 3DMark Storage Benchmark: It measures the gaming performance of the fastest modern PC storage hardware.

3DMark GINW.ru
3DMark is the name of a series of the most popular and well-known computer performance tests developed by the Finnish company Futuremark (formerly MadOnion.com). The tests in this series are focused primarily on the graphics components of a personal computer in order to determine the performance of the system in computer games [1] . The main purpose of 3DMark is to test the performance and stability of a graphics card (video card) and evaluate its performance in conventional units. The latest versions of 3DMark, in addition to the graphics card, also test the performance of the CPU in tasks such as gaming artificial intelligence and the physics engine. 3DMark is, in essence, visually a computer game that is non-interactive, as the user cannot influence the gameplay. 3DMark tests are proprietary commercial programs, however, all benchmarks in the series, with the exception of 3DMark Vantage, have stripped down free versions with limited functionality. nine0007
3DMark is one of the most popular and used programs among overclocking enthusiasts and gamers who evaluate and compare the performance of their systems with 3DMark.
3DMark is positioned by developers as an objective, independent, neutral and reliable tool for testing the performance and stability of computer systems. Moreover, the developers are positioning 3DMark, especially its game tests, as the future of computer games. So, in all gaming tests there are graphic technologies that are at the stage of completion and implementation in computer games, and sometimes they are completely absent. Initially, the 3DMark series focused on DirectX API and used only it. nine0007
In most 3DMark releases, all tests can be divided into two groups: gaming tests and synthetic specific tests. The former are non-interactive, almost full-fledged computer games that run in real time using a game engine. Unlike a full-fledged computer game, the user cannot influence the gameplay and control the protagonist or virtual camera, he can only watch. During the test, the number of frames and the average frame rate per second are measured. Another type of test loads and evaluates only specific specific units of the graphics processing unit (GPU), for example: shader units, texturing units, rasterization units, etc. Although these synthetic tests do not reflect the performance of the video card in games, however, they allow you to fairly accurately evaluate the performance of specific GPU blocks and, on this basis, give a more objective assessment of GPU performance. nine0007
3DMark versions
XL-R8R
Even before the release of the first 3DMark benchmark, Futuremark (then MadOnion) created a simple «XL-R8R» benchmark, which had only one DirectX5-based graphics test that worked at resolution 640×480 pixels.
3DMark 99
3DMark 99 is the first version of 3DMark released on October 26, 1998.
3DMark 99 MAX
Released March 8, 1999, «3DMark 99 MAX» was a completely updated version of 3DMark 99.

«3DMark2000», released on December 6, 1999, is the second full-fledged benchmark in the 3DMark series.
3DMark2001
«3DMark2001», released on March 13, 2001, is the third version of 3DMark and the first 3D graphics test that used DirectX 8. The test consisted of four scenes: a simulation of a combat racing game in a futuristic setting, a dragon attacking a village, a replay of a shootout from the movie The Matrix, and a Nature scene using pixel shaders. nine0007
3DMark2001 SE
The «3DMark2001 SE» ( Second Edition — Russian Second Edition ), released on February 12, 2002, is a greatly enhanced version of 3DMark2001.
3DMark03
«3DMark03», released on February 11, 2003, is the fourth generation of 3DMark. It was the first version to have support for Microsoft DirectX 9.0 and also introduced several new features. Only one of the tests was available on non-DirectX 8 graphics cards: a simulated flight simulator. Other tests include space warfare in Battle of Proxycon, similar in graphics to Doom 3, a fantasy scene showing a detailed female character model and requiring DirectX 9 support.natural landscape scene. All versions of the test, up to this one, used the Max-FX engine developed by Remedy Entertainment for the game Max Payne.
3DMark05
«3DMark05», released on September 29, 2004, is the fifth generation of 3DMark. This version is made on the engine of our own design and requires DirectX 9 graphics card support to run. The test consists of three scenes: Return to Proxycon, also on the theme of space battles, a demonstration of the natural landscape and a dragon attack on an airship. nine0007
3DMark06
«3DMark06», released on January 18, 2006, is the sixth generation of 3DMark.
3DMark Vantage
Released on April 28, 2008, the seventh version of 3DMark. It is the first version that uses Microsoft DirectX 10. Because of this, running the benchmark requires Microsoft Windows Vista with Service Pack 1 or Windows 7 and a video card that supports Direct3D10 in hardware. Also, unlike all previous benchmarks in the series, 3DMark Vantage does not have a full-fledged free version, but you can run the program once without a license. To evaluate performance, the program contains 4 tests: two for the GPU and two for the CPU. nine0007
3DMark 11
The first definite information about 3DMark 2011 appeared in mid-March 2010 in an interview with Futuremark employees for CVG magazine. The interview mostly focused on Shattered Horizon and the future of the company, but some facts were also said about 3DMark 2011.
According to Jukka Makinen, CEO of Futuremark, the company is working on the next generation of 3DMark. This benchmark will only work with DirectX 11. The graphic tests will look like scenes from Avatar and Armageddon. nine0020
