Intel Core i9 — 11900K vs Ryzen 9 5950x in games
This content has been written by a website visitor and has been rewarded.
Not so long ago, the corporation intel released the 11th generation of its desktop processors, codenamed «Rocket Lake» . These processors had to compete with the very powerful «Zen 3» generation processors from the AMD company. If the flagship processor of the red company AMD Ryzen 95950X has 16 cores per 32 threads, then the flagship from the blue company Intel core i9 — 11900K boasts only 8 cores per 16 threads, which is two times less than their competitor. But it is worth clarifying two important points: firstly, many games are still poorly optimized for multi-threaded processors, and secondly, according to the company itself Intel , their new processors received up to 19% performance gains per core. True or not, we will find out from the tests that I conducted at 7 popular and more or less demanding games in my personal opinion.
Tests were carried out with the following components:
* Processor: Ryzen 9 5950x in acceleration 4.8 GGC * Processor: Intel Core i9 — 11900KF0005 Recommendations
* mat. , Code: ASUS ROG Strix B550-F Gaming * Mat., Code: ASUS ROG Strix Z590-F Gaming

Based on the results of tests i9 — 11900KF scored a total of 1638 frames on average FPS’ against 1676 FPS 0006 Ryzen 9 5950X which is 2% more than I ntel . However, it’s hard to deny the fact that both processors performed well in games and were on par with each other. However, if you are going to buy a processor not only for games, but also for work tasks, then undoubtedly the option of buying a 5950X will be more justified than buying a 11900KF , due to the fact that the flagship AMD in 2 times more cores than intel . At the time of this writing, the price of Ryzen 9 5950X in the Regard store is — 83,900 rubles .
