Hello, I am looking for a new cooler as my cooler that I have right now is not doing the job. My cpu is OC @ 5GHZ @ 1.3 volts and temps when benchmarking are 95+ degrees. At idle it’s anywhere from 55-60 degrees. The cooler that I have right now is the h215i pro platinum from Corsair. Will a 360mm AIO benefit this situation? I don’t feel comfortable leaving it as is because the pc is on 24/7. I was hoping that someone could help me with this issue.
Thanks

What CPU do you have? Those temperatures seem rather high for a h215i Pro, though. For example, I have a i7-9700K that runs at stock with a h250i Pro and it does hit those kinds of temperature, even with a small FFT Prime95 torture test. At idle, it averages around 37 C. I’d personally strip everything down, reapply some decent thermal paste, clear dust out of the fans and radiators, before considering replacing the cooler.

Quiet isn’t good for cooling though — this is the problem with the h250i; it’s very quiet under normal settings, but the cooling performance is nothing special for a 360mm radiator. It’s only when you have the fans at full rpm, do you get a decent amount of heat being transferred from the CPU, but at a serious cost to noise levels.

I would suggest you read this guide here first:
Your corsair watercooler should be keeping that core i9 cool.
I recommend the nzxt kraken for water cooling as it will get the job done.
For cooling with air, which I highly recommend against for speeds past 4.3ghz.
Your other problem is setting up correctly and case fans.

kühler is korrekt montiert, als WLP dient Thermal Grizzly’s Kryonaut
System:
CPU: i9 9900k
Board: Z390 Aorus Master
RAM: Aorus RGB Memory 3200 (4x8GB)
GPU: Gigabyte 2080Ti
PSU: Corsair AX 760
SSD: Samsung 970 EVO Plus 2TB

Andererseits, was jucken dich Prime/LinX Temperaturen?

CPU: 30-40% Last bei ~70°C
GPU: 70% Last bei 62°C

For many years, Corsair has been a renowned manufacturer of all-in-one (AIO) coolers. AIO coolers are water coolers that can be installed in your PC, and they are a whole lot easier to install than a custom water cooling loop. In this review, we’ll be checking out the h215i RGB PRO XT CPU cooler, which is its newest addition to the h215i series.
First, let’s look at the hard facts.

We are dealing with a 280 mm cooler, which means that the radiator has a size that will support the use of two 140 mm fans. The included Corsair ML fans make use of magnetic levitation instead of an ordinary ball bearing inside the fan. This should equate to less noise and vibrations when the fan runs at higher speeds. These fans will run between 400 RPM and 2000 RPM.
Since this is a 280 mm cooler, you have to make sure that your case will support a cooler of this size. Most cases support 120, 240 and 360 mm radiators, but a 280 mm cooler is slightly wider, which is important to note.
Packaging and Content
Let’s have a look at what’s important and that is what you get for your buck with this cooler. The box sports the typical Corsair colors: black and yellow. On the front, we find an image of the cooler and a note about its RGB lighting feature. The rest of the box just lists some basic information about the product such as the dimensions and supported processors. In terms of processor support, this cooler essentially supports every AMD and Intel processor produced the past 15 years. As such, unless you are using a prehistoric relic as your daily driver, you should be all good.
Once we get it out from its dwelling, we see the beast in all its glory. A substantial 322 mm x 137 mm x 27 mm radiator and an RGB-lit pump head with a 56 mm cold plate that are connected to each other via 380 mm dark-sleeved tubing. You also find the two ML140 fans that are black with gray fan blades, mounting brackets for various processors and motherboards, a lot of screws and a couple of cables and a manual. We highly recommend not discarding the manual up front since it will provide valuable information regarding which screws and brackets are used for your CPU and motherboard combo.
A Closer Look
Before we get to the installation, let’s have a closer look at the goodies.
The cooler is black in the sense that the radiator, the pump and the tubes are completely black. This means that this cooler will fit into most builds. Unfortunately, the two included fans have gray fan blades, and would’ve been cooler if they too were black now that there aren’t any RGB lights anyways. After all, these aren’t cheap fans and therefore not some that you’d be likely to replace just like that.
The pump has a glossy finish on the top and a Corsair logo at the center. It looks really good, but this also means that you cannot rotate the pump to your liking. So, you have only one choice of orientation if you, like myself, cannot stand a logo that is lying down or upside down. The radiator is matte black.
On the underside of the pump there’s a large cooling plate that would even be able to pair with AMD’s Threadripper CPUs. There’s also some pre-applied thermal compound so you don’t have to deal with that. Unfortunately, no extra thermal compound has been included. The tubes feed into the side of the pump and can be twisted to each side, which gives you a lot of flexibility compared to earlier models, where the tubes went straight down into the pump, leaving you with very little in terms of flexibility.
We of course also have to take a look at the RGB lighting. In this case, we only get that on the pump itself. As mentioned, we have a Corsair logo on the front-facing part of the pump, and around it we get a ring that is also RGB lit. In total, we get 16 adjustable RGB LEDs that can be controlled via Corsair’s iCUE software. There’s an abundance of various light modes to choose from, and you can also create your own as I’ve done in the image below.
It is also using the iCUE software that you control the fan and pump speed. There are four presets to choose from: Quiet, Balanced, Extreme and Zero RPM. The first three are pretty much self-explanatory, and Zero RPM basically means that the fans are idle as long as the cooling fluid remains below 40 °C, in which case you basically have passive cooling. Only the pump will continue running since it of course needs to keep the cooling fluid flowing.
Installation
Now, let’s have a look at the installation. Firstly, I attach the two included Corsair ML140 fans to the radiator.
I’m fortunate to be using an AM4 platform from AMD, which means that I don’t have to swap out the backplate or the brackets on the motherboard itself. However, the cooling kit comes with an Intel bracket pre-installed, which needs to be removed before we can move on. This is easily done by pulling them off from each side. It sounds simple, but it does actually require a decent amount of force. Once those two brackets have been removed, the correct AMD brackets can be fitted on by clicking them on from each side.
You also have to make sure to position the brackets correctly, as shown on the image below. If not, you run the risk of having the cooler not being in proper contact with the processor, thereby rendering it quite redundant.
Once the brackets are in place, you add the included screws and loops.
The whole thing can now simply be installed onto the default brackets that are located on every AM4 motherboard.
With the cooler in place, it’s time to look at the cables. It’s actually quite simple. The two 4-pin PWM connectors from the fans are connected to the Y-cable that is located on the pump. You then connect the two connectors from the pump to respectively a SATA power connector and the CPU_FAN header on the motherboard. That’s basically it.
If you want to be able to control the cooler via the iCUE software, the included USB cable needs to be connected on the side of the pump and then to an available USB 2.0 connector on the motherboard.
That concludes the installation process.
Performance
CPU: AMD Ryzen 2700
Software (benchmark): CPU-Z
Software (monitoring): HWiNFO64
Test Procedure:
Our test procedure involves warming up the system with a CPU-Z stress test for 10/30 minutes (air/water). After that, we let it continue for 2 minutes, whilst measuring the average temperature in HWiNFO64. We then subtract the room temperature at that given time and arrive at a delta temperature in order to provide as neutral a result as possible. The fans and pump are set to run at full speed so we get an idea of the maximum performance. This should provide us with a good indication of what the cooler is capable of and whether it can handle more or less than what we throw at it.
Measurements:
Room temperature: ~26.6 °C
Fan speed: ~1600 RPM
As we can detect, the Corsair iCUE h215i RGB PRO XT performs quite well in our test. The performance of the cooler is equal to, if not better than, that of some of the 360 mm coolers that we’ve tested, which in and of itself is very impressive.
Noise Level:
In our tests, where we let the fans run at maximum speed, we’ll of course also experience quite a bit more noise compared to normal circumstances where you’d likely opt for a more balanced performance. During normal use, we struggle to even hear the cooler, and especially so when it is using the Zero RPM profile. On Extreme, which is what we used during our test, we peaked at around 34 dB at a 30 cm distance. This places the iCUE h215i RGB PRO XT in the middle of the bunch of coolers we tested in recent time. It’s also quite common for smaller fans, such as 120 mm and even 80 mm, to be more noisy than larger fans. Albeit, 140 mm isn’t much larger than a 120 mm, but in some cases, it can make a difference.
Price
Corsair iCUE h215i RGB PRO XT is priced at $139.99. This is, in my view, a quite fair price when you consider the performance of it compared to — even larger — competing products. However, the price is still substantially higher than some of the best air coolers that deliver the same level of performance, but at the same time are quieter and offer other advantages as well.
Conclusion
During this test, we’ve covered everything there is to cover on the cooler. The iCUE h215i RGB PRO XT is a potent cooler that with its 280 mm size performs really well, and especially so when we compare it to its larger 360 mm brethren. Our tests indicate that we basically get the same level of performance as we’d get with some of the larger coolers. The included ML140 fans are quiet, and it’s an awesome feature to be able to put them completely to sleep when the temperature is below 40 °C using the Zero RPM profile.
If we look at the design, it’s the RGB lights on the pump that stand out the most with its 16 individually programmable RGB LEDs. If you’re not into RGBs you can fortunately turn it off completely. The fans do not offer any lighting, and I would’ve liked if the fans were completely black instead of a boring gray color. I’d also have preferred if the tubes were a bit shorter since they could give you some space problems if you run a smaller case with limited room.
I like the idea of the fan cables going into the pump, but I would probably have preferred if they were connected to a hub on the radiator instead. It would also have been nice if these cables were hidden under the sleeving of the tubes. With the current implementation, you have to manage quite a lot of cables, and it isn’t always easy to make it look good. I’m not that big of a fan of the SATA power connection since I find it annoying when anything other than SSDs and HDDs demand SATA power. However, it’s way better than having me use a 4-pin molex connector which we still see from other manufacturers. That madness has to stop, and the sooner the better!
Corsair has put together a very reasonable product, and I’d definitely recommend it if you’ve got room for a 280 mm radiator in your case. This might be the deciding factor since it is not all cases that offer support of a radiator this size.
Corsair iCUE h215i RGB PRO XT gets a fine score of 9/10. It’s a cooler that performs really well and that comes with some good fans that are very quiet during normal workload.

Corsair h215i Platinum AIO Cooler Review

Introduction
Today will again be using our new AIO test platform that is capable of putting out enough heat to make even the devil sweat. We do this to test AIO liquid cooling solutions that are likely to be used with some of today’s most demanding CPUs. So, on the bench today is the Corsair h215i Platinum liquid CPU water cooler ( CW-9060038-WW) which is currently the second most capable cooler in Corsair’s Hydro Series.
Corsair h215i Platinum Overview
The Corsair h215i Platinum is an all in one (AIO) CPU cooler that is designed to work on a wide variety of sockets, including Intel’s LGA 1150/1151/1155/1156/1200/1366/2011/2066 and AMD’s AM2/AM3/AM4. While this covers most high-end desktop processors, it is not compatible with the Threadripper’s TR4 socket without purchasing bracket number CW-8960054.
RGB Water Block
The water block is different from many other related models in Corsair’s lineup as they are once more are using CoolIT (as opposed to Asetek) for their products. The design features a rectangular copper base plate with flattened pyramid-shaped, or trapezoid-shaped, cooling fines to increase heat dissipation. The cooling interface is slightly larger than in other Corsair h21x models. This is paired with a liquid-cooled stator and a patented split-flow design to complete the package here.
The cube-shaped water block includes the pump and measures approximately 60x60x38mm making it one of the smaller options we have seen. It supports the AMD am4 socket.
Pump
The pump used with the Corsair AIO h215i Platinum is the standard CoolIT E3 design. This design is supposed to result in excellent performance and noise reduction along with providing excellent durability (MTTF rated at 80,000 hours at 60 degrees Celsius). Additionally, while the pump is supposed to be PWM capable, you have to use the included adapter for that. This is a bit of a Corsair “lock-in”.
Radiator
The liquid CPU cooler radiator is designed to hold two 140mm fans and measures 315 mm x 143 mm x 29 mm and is, per Corsair’s advertising, meant for “low-noise cooling and bold styling”. By our count, the aluminum radiator sports a density of 21 fins per inch.
Fans
The included ML140 PRO RGB fans are Corsair’s standard-sized ML 140mm PWM fans that have a magnetic levitation bearing. The ML140 PRO RGB support a listed fan speed of 400 to 1,200 RPM on their specs, but we saw peak fan speeds of 1,800 RPM, at a reported noise level of 10 to 20.4 dB(A). The stated airflow is 55.4 CFM with a static pressure of 1.27 mm h3O.
RGB
There are addressable RGB led lighting features in the water block as well as fans included with the h215i Platinum today. The RGB connectivity is provided through a proprietary 4 pin connector and locks you into Corsair’s ecosystem of fan and light control via the iCUE software. This is much less user friendly than all of the other options we have reviewed to date that allow you to use baked in options with various motherboards on the market for running your RGB light show.
Let’s move on now to our test setup and installation of the Corsair h215i Platinum.

Testy wydajności zostały przeprowadzone w obudowie typu benchtable i pomieszczeniu o temperaturze 22-23 stopni Celsjusza.

Advantages: The best option in terms of performance, price and quality on the day of my purchase.
Heats up a little with a relatively inexpensive cooler.
Excellent performance, enough for any game with a decent graphics card.
Comment: I bought it successfully when it was inexpensive.
The processor is chic, everything suits.

writes that cooling with a top-end nokuta is the same as with top-end water, I have bad news for you — you can’t use the materiel.
I consider it important to add — disabling hyperthreading lowered the temperature by 15 degrees, the voltage on vcore (5000) to 1.25V and the stone took 5200 to 1.36V. In games, performance has improved. But there is not much point in doing this, in some games stutters appear and in parallel it will not work to do anything in the background — this solution is a kind of alternative in the heat with budget cooling.

Pros: Noticeable performance boost over i5. It’s like the i5, only with a turbo: while the i5 is still processing, the i9 has already finished everything. Comfort is felt in everything: when launching applications, in processing operations. You can compare both cars with 120 and 180 hp. It seems to be both the norms, but the 180 rides softer, lighter and more comfortable.
Comment: I used to have i5 9600k, also a good percentage.

Pros: Very fast, even stock.
Faults: — Very hot.
— Hopes for overclocking are not particularly justified. The NH-D15S cooler, with two valves, in a closed case, is not enough to keep it from throttling in prime, with AVX, and this is at 4.7 on all cores, it puts out more than 220 watts at the same time and goes into throttling, but it works.
— Trying to set 5 for all cores, in prime (AVX), leads to horror in the form of 260 — 270 watts of heat, instant overheating, and reboot after 10-20 seconds of the test. Looks like you need to add voltage and it’s much better to cool for this ..
— It was not possible to reduce the heating by undervolting, without loss of stability (or frequencies), even by -0.07 volts. Under normal conditions, it seems to work at a reduced voltage, but the prime is pouring with errors, within 2-8 hours of the test.
— Looks like I was just not very lucky with the copy, I took OEM, maybe someone already tested it, before selling it, there is no packaging. I think that with the boxed option, the chances of buying a more successful one are higher.
— My mother is normal, ASUS Strix Z390-E Gaming.
— In principle, if prime9 is excluded from the tests5, then 5 GHz for all cores works quite well for me, without an undervolt. In all programs, even in Cinebench, it also loads well, but not as brutally as prime.
Comment: Proc is a beast, but without dropsy it is almost impossible to squeeze something else out of it, although there are no such programs where it would not be enough in stock.

Advantages: 8 cores, multi-threading, performs well in games.
Disadvantages: Pretty high heat dissipation, but I would not consider this a disadvantage, and it’s clear that for such a processor you need to take very powerful cooling, and expensive motherboards for these percents.
Comment: You should take it only in conjunction with a powerful video card such as 2080,2080ti and take a motherboard with good cooling of the power circuits.

Corsair h215i Platinum review: Flagship RGB LSS
You will be surprised, but I’ll start the story about the closed water cooling system Corsair h215i Platinum RGB . .. with the rules for installing LSS. The highest point of the closed circuit should not be the pump. This will kill the cooling much ahead of schedule. The bubbles that will inevitably be in the cycle will get into the pump and stay there. interfering with circulation. And breaking the pump!

Video review Corsair h215i Platinum
Don’t want to read? Watch the video:
How NOT to do it
If you want all the details, Gamers Nexus has a video, come check it out. Now — why I started with this. The fact is that I now use the Vinga Ark case (which was reviewed by a certain Denis Zaichenko, who then gave it to me). Which spoiled my nerves as much as saved them. But last time I ruined it due to the impossibility of installing a 280 mm dropsy on the front panel as it should be, with a radiator ABOVE the pump …
Well, in general, I once again crawled home tired to zero, tried to screw the radiator into the front of the case, it didn’t work for me with the Xiaomi electronic screwdriver, I uncovered the screwdriver and on the second screw … the nozzle flew off a little.
And can you remember, they say, is Corsair’s dropsy related to the injury of a 6-terabyte player with footage of ASUS RTX 2070 tests? Yes, you remember correctly. Then I too was tired as a dog. Because, guys, fatigue is not a one-time event in life. Unfortunately. When you’re tired, you don’t think. And I didn’t have a cooler, in addition to dropsy.
And these are two lessons for you. First — if you are tired, try to rest at least a little, then do business. And secondly, when assembling a PC, a screwdriver is a danger. A screwdriver, even an electric one, is normal, it will not work to pierce the radiator with it. But a screwdriver is a last resort.
h215i Platinum vs h215i Pro XT
But now about the LSS itself. And I’ll start with what I had on the Corsair iCUE h215i RGB PRO XT review. Also a fat thing, also 280 mm, but without RGB on the turntables. Its cost was, if anything, about 5,000 hryvnia. Platinum will cost 6,000+, as I wrote earlier.
Platinum corrects this omission. Turntables are luxurious. And by the way, the pump has more options for RGB patterns. BUT! Here is the question. And then 280 mm, and then 280 mm. Are any of them more productive? Thanks to the Corsair forum and user c-attack, this issue has been completely resolved.
The price plus or minus is the same, if anything, Platinum is a little more expensive. BUT! The h215i Pro is a model created in partnership with Asetek, one of the top water bottle OEMs worldwide.
See also: Corsair 4000D Airflow body review: Mid-tower with excellent mesh
The h215i Pro has three fixed pump speeds, 1100, 2160 and 2850 rpm, ML140 spinners with a maximum speed of 1100 RPM. h215i Platinum is made in partnership with CoolIT, it has much faster turntables — speeds up to 2000 rpm, but there are only two pump speeds. 2400 and 2900.
Plus — a much more abundant RGB backlight and the ability to control it WITHOUT synchronization with the motherboard via the RGB connector. And now — the main news. I didn’t just talk about h215i Pro, not h215i Pro XT. Because XT IS ALSO MADE by CoolIT, at least the pump.
Information from the same forum. And it turns out that h215i Pro XT is the essence of h215i Platinum, but without RGB. The pump modes are the same, everything else is the same. At the same time, both Asetek and CoolIT have their own advantages and disadvantages. For example, thermal paste applied to the heel, wow, a good phrase, in the case of CoolIT, it allows you to completely cover the processor on the X99 platform, unlike a competitor.
But Asetek has a lower pump speed — and if maximum silence is important, then this is your choice. But it will be problematic to find an old woman, the model has been replaced by Pro XT.
Testing
The performance of dropsies, however, is similar. I mean, Pro XT and Platinum. Or rather, the level of the best turrets like the Noctua NH-D15, and, funny, 360 mm dropsy. That is, for example, the Core i9-9900K at 5.2 GHz for all cores will work in all tests, including Prime95, and not overheat.
However, let’s get to the details.
Test bench
Tests were carried out in my home, freshly upgraded PC:
- AMD Ryzen 5 3600X
- ASRock X570 Extreme4 Motherboard
- RAM HyperX Fury DDR4 2×32 GB 3600 MHz
- SSD Goodram CX400 1 TB
- SSD Western Digital Black SN750 250 GB
- HDD Western Digital Blue 2×1 TB 7200RPM
- HDD Western Digital Purple 6TB 5400RPM
- HDD Seagate IronWolf ST6000VN001 6TB 5400RPM
- PSU be quiet! Power Zone 1000W
- Manli GTX 1080 Ti
- Casing Vinga Ark
Actually, one of the best modern processors, the heir to the throne of R5 1600 — AMD Ryzen 5 3600X . Slightly better than the best-selling AMD Ryzen 5 3600, a little more powerful, a little more expensive. Not an overkill, but just right. Well, the rest is in the list above.
In the role of half of the RAM is the HyperX Fury DDR4 kit 2 × 32 GB 3600 MHz. No more Ryzen is needed, and for such a volume, any video editor will drool on lonely evenings. I speak from experience.
My finally overclocked to 4.2 GHz at a voltage of 1.35 AMD Ryzen 5 3600X for the cooler, of course, did not become a problem, and I rested solely on the possibilities of silicon. Peak 77 degrees Celsius at room temperature 26 — generally with a margin.
And this is at a fixed turntable speed of 1000 rpm, which was produced through the iCUE Software application that dropsy supports.
However, all the problems of the h215 Pro XT also apply to Platinum. Namely, backlight synchronization only works within the Corsair ecosystem and with ASUS AuraSync. All the rest are in flight. BUT! And the fastenings for different sockets on the pump are very tight, the grooves are too narrow.
And that’s it. So the cooling system is a topchik.
Results for Corsair h215i Platinum RGB
Do you want results? There are results for you. Corsair h215i Platinum RGB is like h215i Pro XT, only more beautiful. In fact, even more beautiful. If you are investing in a case with a transparent sidewall and generally an aesthete, then invest in Platinum and you will be in chocolate, whichever processor you choose for yourself.
Well, except that HEDT like Threadripper or Epyc got it from somewhere. There are coolers for this. And for everything else — there is h215i Platinum. Recommended!

AMD Ryzen 9 3900X vs. Intel Core i9-9900K in games
In this article, we will compare AMD Ryzen 9 3900X vs. Intel Core i9-9900K in 36 games. For more information on the capabilities of the new Ryzen series, check out the Ryzen 5 3600, Ryzen 7 3700X, and Ryzen 9 reviews.3900X.
AMD Ryzen 9 3900X tested using a Gigabyte X570 Aorus Xtreme motherboard and two configurations. The first is the R9 3900X with a Wraith Spire RGB cooler and DDR4-3200 CL14 memory. The second configuration with PBO + AutoOC overclocking, DDR4-3600 CL16 memory and Corsair Hydro h215i water cooling system.
To test the Intel Core i9-9900K, we used the Gigabyte Z390 Ultra motherboard and also two configurations. The first with DDR4-3200 CL14 memory and Corsair h215i cooling. The second configuration with DDR4-3600 CL16 memory and processor overclocking to 5 GHz. 9The 3900X falls 4% behind in stock performance comparison. This difference is halved when both processors are overclocked, and we can say that the i9-9900K pulls the performance of the RTX 2080 Ti to the maximum.
StarCraft II
StarCraft II performed the worst in this comparison. The Intel Core i9 is 19% faster than the Ryzen 9 3900X without overclocking at medium frame rates. Overclocked, the 9900K was 12% faster, which is also a strong performance advantage. The gap in the minimum was smaller, but it was.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider
Another game where AMD’s new processor falls behind is Shadow of the Tomb Raider. The Intel Core i9-9900K is 17% faster here, which is a big difference.
Monster Hunter: World
The AMD Ryzen 9 3900X performed well in Monster Hunter: World. Both processors produced the same average FPS, but at the minimum, Ryzen 9 had a 13% better result. Once overclocked, the 3900X was the clear winner, showing not only a great minimum FPS, but also a slight improvement in average frame rates.
Apex Legends
The Core i9-9900K returned to its Apex Legends winning position, although here the R9 3900X was only ~7% slower, losing 10 fps on average FPS. In overclocking, the processor from AMD lagged behind more — by 10%.
Fortnite
In another battle royale we tested, Fortnite, the Ryzen 9 3900X was fast enough, it still fell behind. On average, FPS is a difference of 5%, and at a minimum, 13%.
Resident Evil 2
The results in Resident Evil 2 are interesting: the AMD Ryzen 9 3900X was 6% slower on average FPS but delivered a stronger minimum FPS, beating the i9-9900K by 4%. When overclocked, the average frame rate was almost the same, while the Ryzen still delivered better minimum FPS. In general, the gameplay was the same. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey3900X. The processor from Ryzen performs better in the minimum FPS for a few frames.
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
In Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, the Ryzen 9 3900X was faster than the Core i9-9900K, although the gameplay at such FPS is no different.
Battlefield V
In Battlefield V, the Ryzen 9 3900X underperformed the i9-9900K, lagging 8% on average FPS and 11% behind on minimum FPS. Similar difference in acceleration.
F1 2019
In F1 2019, the Ryzen 9 3900X was 7% slower, but after overclocking, this difference decreased to 3%, since both processors provided a similar level of performance.
Far Cry New Dawn
Far Cry New Dawn is not optimized for AMD processors and here the Ryzen 9 3900X was 9% slower and 10% slower in overclocking.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds
The third and final battle royale we tested is PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. Intel Core i9-9900K was faster overall, but the Ryzen 9 3900X was only 4% slower in average FPS.
World of Tanks
In World of Tanks we see the Ryzen 9 3900X running 8% slower on average FPS. However, both processors delivered over 200 frames per second.
Results
Overall, the Intel Core i9-9900K is a faster gaming processor. Ryzen offers other benefits, but before we get to that, let’s take a look at the performance graph across all 36 games we tested.
On average, the Ryzen 9 3900X was 6% slower than the i9-9900K in games. There were a few games where the Ryzen 9 3900X came out ahead, but there were many more games where it fell behind by a small margin. Then there were games where the R9 3900X was 10% or more slower, and 7 games where the Ryzen was up to 16% slower.
When both processors are overclocked, the result is the same. Here the R9 3900X was only 5% slower on average, so overclocking the i9-9900K to 5GHz doesn’t give it an advantage.
Conclusions
The previous review found the Ryzen 9 3900X to be 8% slower on average in 9 games. After adding 27 more games, the situation has not changed much.
As for the cost of processors, the new results also do not change much. If you don’t use the cooler that comes with the Ryzen 9 3900X, then this processor ends up being a little more expensive per frame compared to the Core i9-9900K. However, if you plan to use the Wraith Spire RGB then 3900X turns out to be a little cheaper than the processor from Intel. After all, they both cost about $500 and depending on what you use your computer for, one might be better than the other.
If you plan to use your PC for a variety of tasks, not only playing games, but also creating videos, 3D models, or performing tasks that require a twelve-core processor, then the Ryzen 9 3900X will be the best buy. For performance tasks in general Ryzen 99 mm w.c. pillar

More efficient Corsair ML 140 Pro Led fans are installed on the LSS. Also, unfortunately, one of the mother’s fasteners is missing (which is behind the motherboard) and there are traces of curling liquid metal, but the surface is perfectly smooth, I think this will not affect the cooling efficiency. Reliable liquid cooling for the computer from corsair h75 with two fans for compact systems or can be installed on the back for blowing. The section is one and at the same time it is quite powerful in terms of performance than most of even two sections. Bought 3 years ago to cool under a very hot processor. Since I’m not overclocking anything more, the meaning in it is gone. I can sell it together with the corsair x460 case, since it won’t suit everyone. Very powerful cooling screws 140mm have a rotation speed of 2400 rpm at maximum roar such that the neighbors hear. From the fans alone, the temperature in the case drops to room temperature. In a minute .

I will sell excellent water, the temperature of the proca is not higher than 50 degrees. The previous owner changed the antifreeze in dropsy, because of this, the bolts on the pump are a little licked, which does not affect the operation in any way and you will not see this until you remove the system. Also, the straps were tightened , covered with threads. Any checks in my or your PC.

NVIDIA GeForce MX550 graphics card based on Turing architecture is designed for thin multimedia notebooks. This is a very interesting segment as it delivers comparable performance to CPU-integrated solutions, raising the question of the need for a discrete graphics card at all.
The first test of the MX550 has appeared on the PassMark website. This card scored 5014 in the G3D Mark test, which is almost identical to the Vega 8 GPU built into AMD Ryzen 95900HS.
AMD Ryzen 9 5900HS graphics in the same benchmark show 4968 points, which is only 0.9% less, and more than fits into the statistical error. Of course, PassMark is not the most popular graphic benchmark, and the number of results in it is very limited. Only 9 iGPU 5900HS results are offered for comparison.
NVIDIA MX550 Test Results in PassMark MX550 vs. Ryzen 9 5900HS in PassMark
The MX550 graphics card is based on the TU117 GPU, the slowest variant of the Turing processor. It doesn’t have ray tracing or DLSS, but it’s unlikely anyone would want to use them given its baseline performance. So far, NVIDIA hasn’t confirmed the heat dissipation of the MX550. Most likely, we will receive more information by the time of its release, which is scheduled for «this spring».

Despite the obvious presence of the GT 1030 on the driver download page, this graphics card is nowhere to be found, either in retail sales or even in pre-built computers. Even a year later, the company has not presented its technical characteristics.
NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030
The company’s website states that the card is based on the Pascal GP108 GPU, but everything else remained a mystery. However, an unknown user ran tests on the GT 1010 graphics card in the Geekbench benchmark, finally confirming its specifications.
GeForce GT 1010 driver selection
As expected, the GT 1010 model has 256 CUDA cores (two of the three TPCs are active). The board has 2 GB of video memory at a speed of 1468 MHz. It appears to be using GDDR6 memory with a bandwidth of 6 Gb/s, just like the GT 1030.
Testing GT 1010
As for performance, it is extremely low. The graphics test scored 35% less than the GT 1030, which is to be expected with a third of the CPU disabled.

Benchmarks of the upcoming NVIDIA RTX 3060 Ti graphics card have been leaked online, showing that the card has amazing performance.
Published screenshots of map testing in 3DMARK Fire Strike and 3DMARK Time Spy. The NVIDIA RTX 3060 Ti card is rumored to launch on December 2nd for a suggested price of under $400, making it the most affordable Ampere-based card to date. At the same time, the accelerator has remarkable performance. If the pictures are correct, then the RTX 3060 Ti even beats the RTX 2080 Super, which had a starting price of $700.
NVIDIA RTX 3060 Ti
Based on the above images, Videocardz concluded that the RTX 3070 is only 11-13% faster than the RTX 3060 Ti. And with factory overclocking, that gap can close even further, making the RTX 3060 Ti almost perfect for gamers.

Most likely, we are talking about the new top-end video card of the Ampere family, because it demonstrates a 30% performance increase in DirectX 12 compared to the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Founders Edition.
3D Mark Time Spy
As usual for cards that haven’t been announced yet, the specifications given in the test are a little strange. So, the GPU frequency is 1935 MHz, and memory — 6 GHz. Of course, this is a strange frequency. Reviewers note that it is caused by the lack of «calibration» of the driver, and in the final version everything should be correct.
Testing an unknown Ampere video card in Time Spy
The specifications of three video cards based on the GA102 processor were also published. These models are:
- 2nd Gen TITAN RTX: GA102-400-A1, 5376 CUDA, 24GB GDDR6X, 17Gbps, 384bit, 816GB/s.
- RTX 3090: GA102-300-A1, 5248 CUDA, 12GB GDDR6X, 21Gbps, 384bit, 1008GB/s.
- RTX 3080: GA102-200-Kx-A1, 4352 CUDA, 10GB GDDR6X, 19Gbps, 320bit, 760GB/s.

In the Fire Strike test, when working with an Intel Core i9-9900K processor, the new video card scored only 5538 points. Purely graphical score was 5960 points.
And that’s not very impressive. The old GeForce GTX 750 Ti scores 5402 in the same test. As for the GTX 1050, this accelerator is 500-800 points ahead of Intel, which makes the DG1 results even more meager.
Intel Xe DG1 graphics card
Also, past Geekbench results showed that the DG1 is not much faster than the NVIDIA MX250, which means that AMD and NVIDIA do not need to worry about their market.
But not everything is so bad. For example, the Intel solution turned out to be a third faster in terms of graphics than the MX350. In general, Xe graphics will not be a breakthrough. Now its goal is to assess the market and its own capabilities. Perhaps promotion as part of laptops. Well, competitors have absolutely nothing to worry about.

Unlike the RTX 2060, NVIDIA introduced the Titan RTX graphics card on the official website. So far, it is not possible to get it due to problems with suppliers, but some enthusiasts still got it, despite the price of $ 2,500.
Naturally, after the appearance of the video card, the first benchmarks appeared. Of course, enthusiasts immediately overclocked their boards, so we have not pure performance.

The new generation of GPU codenamed Turing from NVIDIA was no exception.
All of the information below should be taken with good skepticism, however, we report that the results of testing the performance of the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1170 graphics card have been leaked to the Web.
GeForce GTX 1170 3DMark test
The 3DMark test was run on a machine with an Intel Core i5-8600K processor, and the result is amazing — the new accelerator outperformed the fastest consumer graphics card GTX 1080 Ti. The GTX 1170 itself received a 256-bit wide memory bus and 16 GB GDDR6, and the GPU clock speed was an incredible 2. 5 GHz.

Alexey commented on the new version of the program, briefly reporting the changes literally as follows: create your own tools based on RTSS, a little bit of joy for miners (so that they, freeloaders, fall right into hell :)) and minor interface changes” .
Changelog for MSI Afterburner 4.4.1 is below:
- Fixed application crash when running with 8 NVIDIA GPUs on the latest NVIDIA driver.
- Fixed GPU sorting in the General tab with more than 10 GPUs installed.
- Added voltage control for NVIDIA P104-100 and P106-100 mining cards.
- MSI Afterburner now displays a notification in the NVIDIA Control Panel Dashboard when attempting to overclock an NVIDIA 10×0 series GPU with debug mode enabled.
- Added Frame Rate Min, Frame Rate Average, Frame Rate Max, 1% Frame Rate Drop, 0.1% Frame Rate Drop graphs. Graphs repeat the benchmark statistics displayed in the OSD, but give more freedom when customizing the OSD.
- Improved OSD layout editor. Now it is possible to customize the style of OSD charts independently for each chart.
- Updated RivaTuner Statistics Server to version 7.0.1.
As far as RivaTuner Statistics Server 7.0.1 is concerned, it has received some fairly large changes that we wrote about earlier.
The list of RTSS changes includes:
- Improved the built-in benchmark engine: added 1/0.1% frame rate drop statistics calculation. This result is now stored in the benchmark results file.
- Updated SDK: Added an open source RTSSFrametimePipeSample example that demonstrates the implementation of RTSS in third-party benchmarking software. Now it is possible to create your own benchmarking software and get real-time frame rate data for it from RivaTuner Statistics Server. Also improved are text placement tags that can take negative values.
The card was run on a system with a Core i9-7900X processor, where the video card scored 6200 points in the test with the Extreme preset at 1440p.
Overall, performance was as expected. In comparison, the regular GTX 1070 scores 5500 points, while the GTX 1080 traditionally scores 7000.
The GeForce GTX 1070 Ti is expected to be unveiled next week and will go on sale seven days later, in early November.
As expected, the new card actually destroyed the GTX 980Ti and outperformed even the Titan X. In the Firestrike Extreme test, the card scored 10367 points, while in the Firestrike Ultra it scored 4998 «parrots». This is 20% faster than the Titan X and even faster than the 980Ti and Fury X. In the good old 3DMark 11, the new card also performs well. So, GP104 showed 27683 and 9338 points in the Performance and Extreme tests, respectively.
Of course, 3DMark is a synthetic test that is only close to real gaming loads, but even dry performance data in teraflops shows a 33% increase in the new video accelerator.
Well, the GTX 1080 is only two days away from its official release, so we’re sure to see a lot more tests of specific consumer solutions in the coming days.

Performance results of the new NVIDIA graphics card, known as Titan, have appeared on the web.
NVIDIA’s new flagship accelerator is rumored to have an amazing X7107 score in 3DMark 11, so if this number is real, then the future green accelerator is just a real beast!
Now the fastest single-processor video accelerator, the GeForce GTX 680, in 3DMark 11 shows about 3250-3300 «parrots», and the dual-processor version, the GTX 690, can produce up to 6000 points.
The long-awaited GK110 GPU, which will be used in consumer systems in GeForce Titan 780 video cards, is equipped with 2880 shaders. It is also rumored to have 14 SMX clusters (there will be 15 in total, but one will be disabled), so only 2688 shaders will be in operation. The GeForce Titan 780, or whatever it will be called, is also rumored to be released by the end of February.
And of course, don’t forget that the presented screenshot could simply be someone’s joke. Also, even if this is a true benchmark, the graphics card can be overclocked, probably using liquid nitrogen.

A few days ago, Intel released a new A7 ARC Alchemist graphics card benchmark in Control. In that YouTube video, the Intel accelerator worked on the same level with the RTX 3060. However, then the video was replaced with another one, with the game Cyberpunk 2077, and then completely restricted from viewing.
Now the company has released new test charts showing the advantage of Intel. Intel offers more performance per dollar than the competition, according to new benchmarks. Despite the impressive range of games to compare, Intel’s Ryan Shrout notes that this result is not typical for all games.
ARC A750 versus NVIDIA RTX 3060 benchmark in games like Cyberpunk 2077, Control, F1 2021, Borderlands 3 and Fortnite. These are all DirectX 12 games, and it has been previously reported that Intel A-series accelerators with older APIs do not perform well.
Benchmark A750 vs. RTX 3060
Earlier it was reported that Intel will release its cards to the global market already «this summer». Since summer is already ending, we will probably learn a lot more information about these accelerators in the near future.

The Arc A380 belongs to the entry-mid range, and for $160 it is positioned as an alternative to the AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT and RX 6400, which it confidently outperformed in the 3DMark Port Royal and Time Spy tests. However, the reality turned out to be much sadder, and in games the card does not even reach the RX 6400.
Game benchmarks of the Inte Arc A380 card
Game testing was carried out in League of Legends, PUBG, GTA V, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Forza Horizon 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2. The first three tests were run in DirectX 11, and the A380 was 22% to 26% slower than the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 and Radeon RX 6400. The gap narrowed with DirectX 12 in SoTR and Forza 5, where the gap was 10%. The best result was in RDR2, which uses the Vilkan API. Here, the GTX 1650 is 7% behind, and 9% behind the RX 6400.%. As for the RX 6500 XT, it’s in a league of its own.
It is worth noting that now the availability of video cards on the market is stabilizing, prices are dropping to those recommended by manufacturers, and therefore it will be very difficult for Intel to sell a solution of this level for $160.

Intel Arc Alchemist mobile graphics cards have started to appear in laptops, but in reality they can be found in the only model — Samsung Book 2 Pro, which is sold exclusively in Korea.
In addition to Arc A350M graphics, this laptop also features a Core i7-1260P processor, 1080p AMOLED screen, 32GB DDR5 memory and a 1TB SSD. The Arc A350M GPU contains 6 Xe cores, 6 trace units, clocked at 1150 MHz. The video memory subsystem is limited to a 64-bit bus and 4 GB GDDR6.

But what about the performance of this graphics? It turned out that this card is in the expected range. At 30W, it was 14% slower than the NVIDIA GTX 1650 in 3DMark Time Spy and 22% slower in Fire Strike. At the same time, the Arc A350M turned out to be 17% faster than the entry-level MX450 card from NVIDIA, while the TDP is also 17% higher. In the 3DMark Port Royal test, the Intel card scored 200 points.
Arc 350M test results
Of course, for a 6 nm accelerator, the performance turned out to be quite mediocre. However, the company continues to work on driver optimization, increasing frequencies, so by June, when these accelerators become more affordable, their speed may noticeably increase.

Intel’s Arc Alchemist line of graphics cards is scheduled for release this quarter. So far, all the information about their performance has been based on rumors, guesses and leaks, according to which, the best graphics card manufactured by Intel, the DG2-512EU, will compete with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070. SiSoftware, which has information about its performance. The Arc Alchemist graphics card has a GPU consisting of 4096 cores and 12.8 GB GDDR6 video memory. It is quite possible that this is a software error, because it was previously reported that the card will receive 16 GB of VRAM. The GPU clock speed during testing was 2.1 GHz, however, there is no information on whether this frequency is base or in Boost mode.

A new graphics product from Intel, the Arc Alchemist series, is back in the benchmark. This time, his test was checked in Ashes of the Singularity.
In testing, the system was based on the flagship Core i9-12900K processor, as well as a graphics card that appears to be an engineering sample of Xe-HPG DG2, i. e. Intel Arc Alchemist a320. Testing took place at 1080p with the Medium preset. As a result, the card scored 12500 points, reaching 126.9k / s.

It seems that Intel has turned out to be quite a powerful processor, but it still cannot outperform top-end solutions from AMD, let alone NVIDIA. This top-end GPU will receive 16 GB of GDDR6 video memory with a bandwidth of 16-18 GB / s and a bus width of 256 bits. Power consumption will be 225 W.
Testing DG2 in Ashes of the Singularity
It is worth noting that the Ashes of the Singularity test is notorious for its unreliability and unstable results. Some time ago, we were shown the speed of the new Intel GPU in Geekbench. For certain, everything will become known at the beginning of next year, when the card goes on sale.
