EA has come up with a solution that allows users to instead take advantage of the “Playable Highlights” feature. In this option, the gamer can only play the highlights, while the majority of a specific match gets simulated. When there is a chance to score or defensive action is needed, the user gets control of the match. This feature allows the players to breeze through the “so-called” less-important matches by only playing the game highlights. It is a welcome addition to the new version. This feature is available in both manager career and player career modes.

Other Career Mode features

Pre-season tournament: The overall pre-season format has been changed compared to the previous editions. Unlike the earlier versions, the pre-season tournament will take place closer to the opening games of the season. This helps the players to maintain their match sharpness.

In FIFA 23, cross-play will be available for players on the same platform generation. PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Stadia, and PC versions of FIFA 23 will be cross-play compatible with one another, and PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of FIFA 23 will be cross-play compatible with one another, according to the statement. 

“In FIFA 23, cross-play will be available at launch in FUT Division Rivals (except Co-Op), FUT Champions, FUT Ultimate Online Draft, FUT Online Friendlies (except Co-Op), FUT Play a Friend, Online Friendlies, Online Seasons (except Co-Op Seasons) and the Virtual Bundesliga competitive game mode that is available to players based in Germany,” the statement added. This is a feature many fans have been wanting to be included in the game for a long time. Hence, the latest development surrounding cross-play has been received well by a lot of gamers.

The HyperMotion2 technology has allowed EA to create realistic gameplay and player animations. The introduction of women’s club teams is another noticeable addition to the latest version. The FIFA 22 edition might have had women’s international teams, but FIFA 23 has women’s club football for the first time ever. “As women’s club football comes to EA SPORTS FIFA for the first time ever with the addition of the Barclays WSL and D1 Arkema, we’re presenting the ratings for the top players in the women’s game in FIFA 23 who will be playable across Kick Off, Online Seasons, Co-Op Seasons, Online Friendlies, and Tournament modes,” the statement from official website added.
