Whenever I go into a server I stay in it for different periods of time and then get disconnected with around 5-7 different messages all alternating every time. Here are a few. I was wondering If there is any way to fix these because I am doing important things in some servers, and disconnecting permanently stops the thing I was doing. Can anyone help?

I will try these, I tried first video and nothing, but I will have to check what anti virus I have and to disable it. The problem is not on hypixel though, it is on another server.

Hey, When I changed my minecraft password to ********* so it told me that. Or I needed to restart my pc. Here is a few reasons it could happen:
1. you reseted your minecraft password.
2. you have update for the computer.
3. you need to restart the computer.
4. you have no internet.
5. the address you put in the hypixel is not the hypixel ip.
6. internet problems.
Hope you found this helpful!

Hey Leute,
internal exception io.netty.handler.codec.decoderexception

«io.netty.channel.AbstractChannel AnnotatedConnectException» error in Minecraft
Minecraft startup may be interrupted by the «io.netty.channel.AbstractChannel AnnotatedConnectException: Connection refused: no further information» error that occurs while connecting to the server. Let’s find out what precedes the appearance of this error and how to fix it.
Contents
- 1 What causes the error?
- 2 Add an exception to Firewall
- 3 Adding an IP address and port
- 4 Checking port filtering
What caused the error?
If, when starting Minecraft, we see the error “io.netty.channel.AbstractChannel AnnotatedConnectException” on the screen, due to which the game is denied connection, then it can occur for the following reasons:
- Connection to the server is blocked by the Windows firewall. To avoid this, you need to add the directory with the game and Java files to the list of exceptions.
- The issue may occur after updating Minecraft to the latest version when the system is running an outdated version of Java. As a result, this may conflict with certain components of the game and prevent you from connecting to the server.
- Software that is not compatible with Minecraft is running in the background and causing an error when connecting to the server.
Restart your router before applying solutions. The error may have been caused by a faulty network configuration or a corruption in the DNS cache. Unplug the router’s power cable and wait 2-3 minutes before connecting the device to the mains. Once the internet connection is established, try launching the game.
Also, search the web for a list of applications that are incompatible with certain Minecraft components and uninstall them if they are present on your computer.
Adding an exception to the Firewall
In many cases, the connection to the Minecraft server is blocked by the Windows Firewall, eventually resulting in the «io.netty.channel.AbstractChannel AnnotatedConnectException» error. So try adding an exception for some executable files in your Minecraft folder that need internet access.
Expand the Start menu and click the gear icon to open System Preferences, or simply press Win + I. Go to Updates and Security.
Open the Windows Security tab and go to the Firewall and Network Protection section.
Select the «Allow this application through Firewall» option.
Click on the «Change settings» button and confirm this request by clicking on the «Yes» button.
Then select «Allow another application» and click on the «Browse» button. Navigate to the Minecraft folder and select the executable.
Repeat the above steps again. Navigate to the folder where Minecraft servers are installed. Open the Maxwell-MinecraftServer folder. Set the permissions of both Java executables inside this folder in the same way.
Now find all «Java Platform SE Binary» options in the list and check the boxes for private and public network.
After applying the changes, start Minecraft and see if this process is interrupted by the «io.netty.channel.AbstractChannel AnnotatedConnectException» error.
Adding an IP address and port
If you use a dynamic IP address to access the Internet, it will change every couple of days. So check the IP address and port for the game and add it to the Minecraft launcher.
Open a command prompt using Windows Search, giving it administrator access.
Run the ipconfig command in the console and note down the IPv4 address.
Then go to the Minecraft Servers — Maxwell (with a set of random numbers) — MinecraftServer folder and open the «Server Properties» text document.
Find in it and write down the value of the string «Server Port», for example, «25565».
Then launch Minecraft and go to the «Play Multiplayer» option. Select a server and click on Edit.
Now enter the IPv4 address and port number in the Address field, for example, «XXX.XXX.X.X:25565»
Click on Done and then on the Refresh button. Check if the launch of Minecraft is interrupted by an error.
Check Port Filtering
Sometimes a problem can occur as a result of users accidentally filtering required ports. Even though the port forwarding is configured correctly, the filtering automatically resets it to zero, which results in the indicated error.
