Price is different on both PC Builder & Merchant, Why?
Yes, Sometimes the price may be dropped and increased by the merchants at any time. And due to this, sometime you’ll see some price differences of few components — but we’re working hard to maintain the latest pricing as per the merchant and keeping the margin of price error to minimal.
How do we earn?
It’s hard to share the answer to this question in few lines but to keep it simple, we’re affiliated to Amazon LLC and this is the only way through which we make our livelihood and keep this website running free.

How BuildMyPC Earn
BuildMyPC website is currently funded through the affiliate programs provided by Amazon.com, BestBuy Affiliate, and Google AdSense.
Who is the Face behind BuildMyPC
The BuildMyPC is owned and run by some Indian tech geeks.
Why BuildMyPC is Started
The only reason the BuildMyPC is started because there is no best service available in the market which provides users with the lastest components to make their builds. When it comes to build a PC the users have to work hard due to lack of knowledge about the various PC components and in the end, many of us just get compromised with some low build component.
But now, with the availability of BuildMyPC, the users can easily build their dream PC with just a little bit of knowledge, without any worries and stress.
We provide easy to use UI and UX with tons of compatibility algorithm that makes it much easier to select the custom PC parts. With the use of our PC Builder, users have already built more than 534200+ PCs and the counting is still going on.
Build My PC is not viewing my country.. not what.
As of now, we at Build My PC only support merchants in 6 countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Italy, Australia, and India. So if you reside in any of these countries, then you can use the merchants to effectively build the PC for yourself.
Along with it, the website is free to use for everyone whether their country is listed in our compatibility checker tool or not. The only difference is, we don’t support the merchants in other countries and we’re really working hard to update every country on our platform.
I think I found some issues in BMPC. How can I help to correct you?
Oh, Snap! It might be possible to miss some in thousands, and we regret our mistake, We have developed various algorithms to check for the compatibility of each and every pc parts listed on our website, but there might be some times that we miss something while writing the algorithms of the component you found the issue with.
If you think there is a chance we missed something important, then you can help us by simply getting back to us at [email protected] with the issue and join our cause of making building better.
How buildmyPC compatibility works?
Well, it harder to explain exactly, but in simple words, every component we add on Build My PC is checked for the compatibility parameters with each of the other pc components, then finally we make it available for our users.
How many components are there in Build My PC?
As of now, we have more than 2,000+ components in our database which are checked and added by following all the parameters required. And we’re constantly working on increasing products day-by-day to help you choose the right product for yourself.
You’ll get to choose from 150+ processors, 200+ motherboards, and from 100’s of graphics card and RAM. The numbering might be different for you, as we have added various country-specific products in our system as well. And trust me, while you’re reading these FAQs, we might have added some more pc components to our list.
And in case, you don’t find any pc component, you can mail us at [email protected] and we’ll add them for you 🙂
I am not able to find some components. How can I check my compatibility now?
There are thousands of pc components available in the market and it’s really hard to manage all these in just a few months. But we’re constantly working on adding the latest components on our website along with several algorithm updates just because to get you with the best pc compatibility.
However, it’s possible that we might have missed some pc components under our sleeves — and if you think that’s the case with you, then you can reach us at info@buildmypc. net with the component link or with the name of the pc component and we will add it for you.
Why many of the components don’t show the pricing?
We update our pricing several times of the day, and many of the times some of the components get out of stock for only a limited amount of time, so we show all the components on our product list page.
It is because most of the components which are out of stock are again available on these merchants within a day or two (normally it takes 2-3 hours) and we don’t want you to miss any of the best components for your build, just because they recently got out of stock.
Along with it, it is really helpful for someone who came looking for the specific pc component compatibility which might be unavailable or out of stock at that time. So it would be really helpful for peoples to use our pc compatibility checker even if it shows the product out of stock or unavailable at that moment.
How can I feature my recently build rig?
As of now, we don’t have the feature to share user builds on our website. But if you’re really interested in sharing the build with us, then you can reach us at [email protected] with every component you used to build your pc along with the images and videos (if possible). We’ll feature them on our blog.
The 10 Best Custom PC Builder Websites of 2022
If you’re in the market for a new gaming computer and you’re not looking to build your own system, these seven custom PC builder websites will allow you to choose a custom PC that should meet your needs.
I‘ve been building my own computers for a while now. And, I’ve been trying to convince others to do the same for almost just as long. There are many reasons why you should build a PC. However, there are also many reasons why I should change the oil on my car myself.
But, I don’t. I don’t know how to change the oil on my car and regardless of how much money it would save to change the oil myself, I just don’t feel like learning how to do it. I’m completely content paying someone else to do it for me.
And, some people feel the same way about building a computer. They’d rather avoid the hassle of learning how to build a computer (although, it is a much easier process than you might imagine!) and they’re completely fine with paying extra to have someone build it for them. If you’re one of those people, you’ll be happy to find that there are many custom PC building companies out there that will build you a computer that you can be happy with.
In this post, we’re going to go over the seven best custom PC builder websites currently out there and detail what makes them an option you’ll want to consider if you are looking to have a custom PC built for you.

Origin PC
A few years after Dell acquired popular custom PC builder Alienware, three former Alienware employees left to found their own custom PC company, Origin PC.
Origin PC offers custom-built computers and laptops for gaming and professional use and all of their models and classes of PCs and laptops are ‘configurable’ to match the specs you want. They offer custom PCs in small form-factor cases, mid-tower cases, full tower cases, and super tower cases. And, they have laptop options that come in a lightweight case, as well as laptops that come with single and even dual GPUs.
Origin PC doesn’t have lower-tier systems available, with their least expensive gaming computer starting at $1,343. They do have financing options, though, so if you don’t quite have the budget to drop over a thousand dollars on a system right now, you can opt for lower monthly payments instead. And, they do have a small selection of their systems available on Amazon if you are looking for quicker shipping options. They offer 1-year warranties on their systems (you have the option to extend that to 3-years) and free tech support on your system for life.

iBuyPower
In terms of affordable custom PC options, iBuyPower is the main competitor to CyberPowerPC. They have gaming desktops that start as low as $899 and they offer financing options through Affirm as well, so monthly payments are an option.
iBuyPower was founded in 1999 and they currently offer a range of custom desktops and laptops that can be configured to meet your own specific needs. And, also like CyberPowerPC, iBuyPower sells pre-built systems on Amazon for as low as $549. So, if you don’t want to wait for iBuyPower to build you a custom system, you can always opt to get your computer delivered to your faster by purchasing through Amazon.
Customization options through iBuyPower’s configuration system range from custom RGB lights, to upgraded cases, CPUs, GPUs, CPU coolers, to advanced warranty protection. Their Easy Builder is perhaps one of the best custom configuration features as it simplifies the process down to finding a PC for you based on the types of games you play.
All iBuyPower custom systems come with a standard 3-year warranty and are ready to ship within 5-10 business days (but rush shipping/production is available).

Xidax is not quite as well-known as companies like Origin PC, MainGear, CyberPowerPC, and iBuyPower, but they might actually be the best option among custom PC builders. For starters, their custom PCs start out at $565, which is the lowest pricing option on this list. They also offer higher-end desktop, workstation, and laptop options for gaming or professional use.
Through their customization options, and of Xidax desktops can be upgraded to have better core hardware, as well as customization options like RGB lighting, CPU & GPU overclocking, CPU delidding, engraving, faster shipping, etc. Xidax also offers financing through Affirm, so you can make monthly payments on their systems, too.
All of Xidax’s desktop computers come with an industry-leading lifetime limited warranty and their laptops come with a 2-year limited warranty.

BLD (by NZXT)
NZXT is a very popular name in PC hardware and peripherals and so they deserve recognition in their latest venture into custom-built PCs. Because they have had success and earned a solid reputation in the PC hardware industry, you should expect a quality experience in their custom PCs as well.
Unlike some of the other custom PC builders that offer different pre-configured builds (that can be reconfigured to your liking), BLD asks you to go through a step-by-step questionnaire to help you find the best system for your needs and budget. You choose the main game you want to play, how much you want to spend, and whether or not you want an Intel or AMD-based system.
From there, BLD gives you a recommended build and you can further configure that system to your needs. You can configure everything from the core hardware (CPU, GPU, amount of RAM and storage, PSU, etc.) to peripherals like the case (NZXT cases only), cooling, color schemes, and RGB lighting.
Their 2-year warranty isn’t the longest warranty of the custom computer companies on this list, but it also isn’t the shortest (at least, without paying extra). They also guarantee that their systems will ship within 48-hours and you have the option to pay ~$200 extra to get the system to shipped the same day (as long as you order by 11AM EST).

MainGear
MainGear has been building custom computers for over 15 years now. Founded back in 2002, MainGear has a decent selection of computers, laptops, and workstations that can be used for gaming or for professional use.
And, like the other options on this list, all of MainGear’s system’s are configurable, with the option to choose everything from the CPU and graphics card in their systems, to adding RGB lights, a custom paint job, multiple storage devices in RAID configuration, and upgraded warranties (among others). You can find MainGear systems on Amazon as well if you are looking for a Prime-eligible PC that can be shipped to you quickly.
MainGear does have systems that start at fairly decent prices (at least, for a custom pre-built PC website). Their base gaming computer model, The Vybe, starts at $825. All of MainGear’s custom PCs come with a 1-year warranty with the option to upgrade to a 3-year warranty through their configuration options.

CyberPowerPC
Perhaps no custom PC builder website offers a wider range of base models and configuration options than CyberPowerPC does. CyberPowerPC was founded all the way back in 1998 and they sell both custom PCs and custom laptops.
They also have the lowest starting prices among the other options on this list, with gaming desktops starting at $769 and gaming laptops starting at $799. However, you can find even less expensive options from CyberPowerPC directly on Amazon, with options as low as $499. And, their $779 gaming computer listed on Amazon is such a good value that it even rivals the kind of performance you could get if you built your own system for ~$700-$800.
And, like MainGear and Origin PC, CyberPowerPC also offers financing options through Affirm, so there is the potential to make monthly payments on their systems.
All of CyberPowerPC’s systems come with a standard 1-year warranty with a 3-year service plan and lifetime tech support. They do have slower shipping times, with custom systems taking a couple of weeks to be sent out, but you can pay for rushed shipping in as little as 3-days. However, their options on Amazon are Prime-eligible, which means they can be shipped to you in as little as 2-days for free.

Digital Storm
Digital Storm has been around since 2002 and they offer a range of custom desktops, workstations, and laptops for gaming and/or professional use. While both CyberPowerPC and iBuyPower offer a wider range of base models to choose between and they have less expensive options available through Amazon, Digital Storm offers the cheapest base model system among all of the other options on this list. Their Vanquish base model starts at $699 and has plenty of options to be upgraded.
All of Digital Storm’s models come with 3-year limited warranties, with the option to upgrade to 4- or 5-year limited warranties as well. Their systems also come with financing options if you are looking to make monthly payments instead of paying the full price upfront.

Falcon Northwest
Falcon Northwest has been around since 1992, making it the oldest custom PC builder on this list. If you’re primarily looking for a more budget-friendly custom PC, then Falcon Northwest won’t be an option for you. However, if you have a large budget and you need a high-performance desktop or laptop, then Falcon Northwest might be the custom PC builder you’ll want to consider.
Falcon Northwest has desktop options starting at $2,200 and laptop options starting at $2,500. All of their systems come with a standard 3-year warranty and offer customization options on the hardware and on the aesthetics (custom painted cases),
Unlike the other options on this list, though, Falcon Northwest does not offer financing on their systems and so there are no monthly payment options (unless, of course, you use a credit card. )

AVADirect
AVADirect might have the most robust catalog of among all of the options on this list. From high-end gaming desktops, to custom-built gaming laptops, to workstations, to mini-PC builds, to even extreme tablets, AVA Direct has a ton of different system options and configurations to choose between.
AVADirect also sellls individual components as well, with the option to buy everything from desktop hard drives to headsets, keyboards, and mice.
They have custom-built gaming desktops starting at $919 and custom built laptops starting at $1,099. And, they offer financing on all of their systems if you’re looking to split your investment into smaller amounts.

Computer Upgrade King (CUK)
Computer Upgrade King is a newer custom PC company, but they have quickly made a name for themselves. You can find a lot of their system’s on Amazon, but they have even more offerings on their website.
They offer a variety of base model desktops and laptops and all of them can be customized to a certain degree. Their desktops start at $479 and their laptops start at start at $549, easily making them one of the more affordable options on this list.
And, like many of the other custom PC builders on this list, they offer financing through Affirm on all of their products to make easier to acquire a higher-end system.

Don’t Want to Build Your Own PC? Try These Custom PC Builders Instead
While I will always recommend that gamers build their own computers (rather than purchase them pre-built), I realize that not everyone wants to take on the challenge of building a computer. And, of course, that’s completely fine. The seven custom PC builders listed above are good alternatives to building your own system.
If you do want to build your own computer you can check out our following build guides to help you find the right parts for your system:
- High-End Gaming PC Builds (Over $1,000)
- Budget-Friendly Gaming PC Builds (Under $1,000)
Nine custom PC builders compared: who gives you the best deal?
At PC Gamer, we believe strongly in the value of building your own PC. It’s cheaper, and it brings you closer to the hobby that we all love. But we know buying a pre-built system has its advantages, too. Maybe you just don’t have time to build a PC of your own, or you have dreams of a custom paint job or complex water cooling you can’t do at home. Buying from a professional builder also gets you warranty coverage and professional tech support, sometimes even for the life of the system. It’s hard to say if the warranty price outweighs the savings it provides in repair costs, but it definitely brings peace of mind.
Once you’ve decided to go with a professional PC builder, the next question is: which one? Some companies differentiate themselves with custom artwork, unique case designs, or good service coverage. But there are a lot of choices out there. We looked at nine professional PC builders to see what kind of warranty options, service coverage, and other defining factors set them apart from one another. Then, I built two systems for each company: a high-end system—pretty much the best the company offers—and the cheapest pre-built system available. Here’s what we found.
Alienware
The gaming arm of Dell, Alienware is somewhat known for its expensive systems and «high-end-gaming-for-dummies» approach to service. Every Alienware system comes with a standard one-year limited hardware warranty, with additional warranties of up to four years available.
- Low-end system warranties: $80 for two years, $150 for three years, $210 for four years of hardware and phone support
- High-end system warranties: $149 for two years, $219 for three years, $279 for four years of hardware and phone support.
The one-year limited hardware warranty doesn’t seem to cover standard phone service though, as Alienware offers a variety of «gaming services» such as new game setup, game customization and optimization, troubleshooting, and system mechanic, all at a variety of prices. In other words, you have plenty of tech support options, but they’ll cost you.
Tech support hours are listed as Monday — Friday from 10:00am to 7:00pm CST. Return policy is a 30-day money back guarantee, including free shipping both ways and sometimes a waived restocking fee.
I’m not a big fan of Alienware’s custom build system. For one, links have a tendency to sometimes bounce you between Alienware, Dell, and Alienware-branded Dell pages. It’s not a huge issue, but a bit annoying and can get confusing. The bigger issue is that part options vary depending on which base model you start from. The low-end Area-51 desktop, which starts at $1,699, has a variety of video card options to upgrade to, while the top-end model (starting at $4,499) only lets you choose between triple GTX 980s or upgrading to Dual Titan-Z cards (which are now outdated with the arrival of the Titan X).
Origin PC
Origin PC offers one-, two-, and three-year parts and free shipping warranties, excluding accessories, software, and anything damaged beyond the company’s control, such as: «impacts, liquids, fire, rain, lightning or other disasters such as: nuclear war, zombie apocalypse, epidemic, alien occupation, or armed insurrection. » Purchasing from Origin comes with lifetime US-based tech support that is available 24/7. Baseline warranties (included in the cost) start at one-year part replacement and 45 day free shipping. $69 extends free shipping to a year, while an additional $100 or $200 bumps the parts replacement and shipping up to two and three years, respectively.
The company says it can professionally overclock systems up to 5.2 GHz, and all systems are subjected to a rigorous three-day burn-in stress test. Purchases come with a 30-day money back guarantee (subject to a 15% restocking fee), excluding custom paint, logo, or artwork services, which are non-refundable. The company ships internationally, and boasts its «wooden crate and instafoam shipping protection,» which presumably helps prevent any damage during shipping.
In addition to Origin’s extensive color options, which will run you $250 for metallic side panels, $450 for pre-designed themes, or considerably more for custom artwork, the company differentiates itself from the competition with an upgrade service, allowing customers to return internal components of their Origin PC for credit towards the purchase of a new product. You have to buy-in to the upgrade service (it’s available in a two-year and three-year format, at $20 and $40) at the time of original purchase. It covers system motherboards (on desktop form factors), CPUs, GPUs, internal hard drives, memory, and optical drives. Buyback prices are the part’s current market value, as determined by Origin based on a combination of data sources. If you’re planning on upgrading your PC at all in the future (which you should be), the upgrade service definitely seems worth the money.
Origin’s online build process was one of the best I experienced. You can customize the internals of tower builds (as in, whether you want a standard, inverted, or rotated motherboard positioning), and part selection is straightforward for both towers and small form-factor systems.
Falcon Northwest
Like Origin PC, Falcon Northwest is one of the more expensive options on the market, but is known for its unique, custom cases. The company uses automotive-quality paint finishes in everything from basic solid, metallic, and pearl color schemes to complex color-shifting hues and custom graphics and airbrushing. Falcon’s Exotix paint starts at $756 for a solid color and goes up to $1,000 or more for complex color-shifting hues. Custom artwork, depending on the complexity, will raise that price even more.
Falcon offers lifetime tech support, 9am-6pm Pacific Time, seven days a week. All desktops except the Talon include a three-year warranty which covers parts and labor (the Talon costs $195 to upgrade from a one-year to a three-year warranty), and some systems (the Mach V and FragBox) additionally come with a year of Falcon Overnight service (only available in the contiguous United States), a coverage plan that will have your system picked up, repaired, and returned via an overnight courier, should a problem arise that can’t be fixed via over-the-phone tech support.
With the exclusion of custom paintwork, which is non-refundable once painting has begun, Falcon offers a 30-day money back guarantee. Like Origin PC, systems are subjected to a three-day burn-in. Customers are also provided with a convenient binder of system documentation, as well as «ResuceDrive» — a USB stick that can reset your system to a factory fresh state.
The Falcon «Configurator» is a bit clunkier than Origin’s system, but still overall a good customization experience. The biggest issue is that you have to click into each part in order to see price differences, making it slightly more difficult to compare parts at a glance.
Xidax
Every Xidax computer is hand-built by a single system builder. The other main selling point for Xidax systems is the company’s lifetime warranty on parts and labor for desktop systems. (Two years for laptops.) This covers the «core computer,» defined as all hardware inside the computer case (excluding AMD video cards, which come with a limited two-year parts warranty, and liquid/water cooling components, which are covered for a year). Defective parts are repaired when possible or replaced with a new, used, refurbished, recertified, or comparable part. If a component is no longer supported and/or commercially available, to the point that repair of the computer would be impractical, Xidax may issue an in-store credit for the computer’s then-value, instead of going forward with a repair.
Xidax’s return policy is a bit wonkier than most. All sales are final and as-is, with returns only at the exclusive discretion of Xidax. Returns (that are approved) within 45 days of purchase are subject to a 20% (of the purchase price) «rental fee» while returns after 45 days are charged a 20% restocking fee plus an additional $75 per day rental fee.
The Xidax website lists several technicians on staff, so it’s presumably they offer in-house tech support. However, the website doesn’t have any mention of the company’s actual tech support hours. (Company office hours are listed as Mon — Fri 9am — 5pm (MST) and Sat/Sun 10am — 5pm.)
Xidax also offers a number of financing options. BillMeLater via PayPal, GE Financing (subject to a credit approval), and a no credit check option. The third option is a terrible deal, though, as all leases are for 12 months at a rate of 20% per month. In other words, a $1000 system would cost you $200 per month for 12 months, adding up to $2400 total. Not good.
Xidax’s custom build UI is better than most, making it straightforward to compare prices and pick components. My only real complaint is that the menu scrolls back to the top every time you select a new component section, making it possible to lose your place and maybe forget to pick a component.
iBuyPower
iBuyPower offers a wide variety of pre-built and custom configuration options. The company’s signature desktop systems come with a three year standard warranty, covering three years labor and one year parts. Four- and five-year extended warranties are also mentioned on the company’s warranty info page, but they don’t seem to be listed as options at the time of purchase, so you will likely have to contact the company in order to buy in. Warranties extend only to the original purchaser, and are only effective on systems purchased and operated in the United States. iBuypower does not offer international shipping, service, or sales (except for APO/FPO customers, which are covered by the standard three-year warranty).
All purchases are covered by a 30-day money back guarantee, not including shipping/handling. Returns not in their original condition may be subject to a 15% restocking fee. iBuypower provides technical support 8:30am — 5:00pm PST Mon — Fri.
iBuyPower’s build interface seems aimed more at someone who knows what they’re doing, but still doesn’t want to build their system by hand. It almost overwhelms you with component choice, yet provides little info about each part on the decisionmaking page, save for the part name and price. If you don’t know what you’re looking for, I could see easily getting lost in the weeds.
Maingear
Maingear lists customer service as its top priority. All parts are covered during the warranty period, which starts at one year on all systems then costs $99/$199 for two/three years of coverage on most systems (but the price goes up to $199/$399 on super high-end systems). Labor and phone support are free for the lifetime of the system. The warranty employs a combination of virtual on-site, remote diagnostic software, telephone support, and if necessary, on-site repair via a third-party service. Tech support hours are Mon – Fri, 10:00 am – 7:00 pm EST and Sat, 10:00 am – 5:00 pm EST. Issues within the first 30 days are additionally covered by free two-way shipping, while Maingear will cover one-way shipping after that. Systems come with a 30-day money back guarantee, subject to a 20% restocking fee, excluding shipping costs, custom work (including paint), and orders over $5,000.
As for the computers themselves, Maingear says it hand-builds every system with a focus on optimal wiring for maximum airflow. Systems come with the latest hardware drivers installed (and never any bloatware), and everything is subjected to a 48-72 hour stress test.
Maingear’s approach seems mostly focused on providing lots of pre-configured options at a variety of price points. You can still customize those further, but based on the number of options, I imagine they’re more interested in attracting customers looking for a build to suit their needs (gaming, 3D modeling, post-production, etc) rather than someone looking to hand-pick their parts.
CyberpowerPC
In addition to standard laptops and tower cases, CyberpowerPC offers a number of exclusive case options, such as the futuristic-looking Trinity and the briefcase-shaped Battlebox.
Tech support is available Mon-Fri 6:00am — 8:00 pm (PST) and Sat 9:30am — 3pm (PST). Desktop systems comes with a three year limited warranty (covering three years labor one year parts). That plan can be upgraded:
- Four years labor, two years parts extended service plan: $199.
- Five years labor, three years parts extended service plan: $349.
Systems are covered by a 30-day money back guarantee (excluding shipping costs and custom engraving), with returns made between 31 and 45 days subject to a 15% restocking fee. No refund, credit, or exchange is allowed after 45 days. Four and five year (with two and three years parts) extended service plans are also available.
While I like CyberpowerPC’s variety of cases, it suffers from the same issues as iBuyPower: it overwhelms you with options without offering much info to help make component choices. I count 19 motherboard options to choose from—all X99 variations, at that—so again, if you don’t know exactly what you want, it can be quite confusing.
Velocity Micro
Like many custom PC builders, Velocity Micro builds its systems by hand. They are then subjected to a rigorous testing process, including a 200-point checklist, 60 cycles of testing system resources, overnight burn-in, and many others. After sale, systems are covered with lifetime in-house tech support. Standard tech support is available 11:00am to 8:00pm EST Monday through Friday, while 24/7 emergency support (covering things like boot failure, system failure, and issues that keep the PC from functioning) is available for certain warranty packages.
Velocity Micro systems come with a one-year limited warranty, covering parts and labor, with two- and three-year options available, with price dependent on the system.
- Low-end system warranties: $99 for two years, $199 for three years of coverage.
- High-end system warranties: $199 for two years, $399 for three years of coverage.
Sales come with a 30-day money back guarantee, subject to a 15% restocking fee. Any special or custom-ordered component (things not listed in the configuration options) are not eligible for refunds.
Velocity also offers a lifetime upgrade plan, allowing users to purchase new components for their system at discounted prices. Upgraded hardware comes with an additional one-year warranty. The company’s build offerings are a nice combination of pre-designed systems with the option for further customization.
Digital Storm
Digital Storm systems come with a three year limited warranty, covering three years of labor and one year parts.
- Four year labor, two year parts extended warranty: $99.
- Five year labor, three year parts extended warranty: $299.
- Six year labor, four year parts extended warranty: $499.
Warranty service within the first 45 days also comes with free two-way shipping. Digital Storm offers a full refund, excluding shipping costs, only in the case of hardware issues and within 30 days of original delivery.
Digital Storm provides lifetime US-based tech support (hours are listed as Monday through Friday, 9:00am — 5pm PST). The company offers overclocking and other services to boost performance, as well as «extensive» stress testing, though it doesn’t say exactly how long the burn-in period is.
Digital Storm’s build interface is solid—fairly similar to Velocity Micro. Lots of choices for where you want to start out, namely case and pre-configured watercooling options, then pre-configured options that can be further customized.
That’s an overview of the major PC builders and what they have to offer in terms of warranties, support, overclocking, and other special services. On the next page, I put each configuration tool to the test to build a high-end rig and compare prices across all nine builders.

However, CyberPowerPC has slower shipping times, which can take up to a couple of weeks. If you want to get your order shipped faster, you can either enroll on Amazon Prime or pay a rushed shipping fee.

iBuyPower is a custom PC builder that is geared towards veteran gamers. Established in 1999, the company offers a daunting selection of components that might be confusing for beginner PC builders. However, it can be a haven for those who have done their research or have PC building experience.
In terms of pricing, iBuyPower is within the Goldilocks zone and has gaming systems under $1,000. Is also offers services such as water-cooling, essential cable management, overclocking, and custom engraving. iBuyPower’s website also features an Easy Builder tool, which simplifies the PC building process.
Right off the bat, it lets you select between AMD or Intel as your processor. After which, it displays some of their builds. You can also use filters such as price, storage, visual memory, and special features to further tailor your preferences.
3. Digital Storm (Best for International Clients)

- Cost: $1,000 to $3,000
- Features: 4K HD, Overclocking, Virtual Reality, Water cooling

If you are outside the United States, try Digital Storm’s custom-built PC. One of the few custom PC companies that ship internationally, the firm was founded in 2002 and sells custom workstations, laptops, and desktops for professional and gaming use.
Digital Storm also has some of the most affordable gaming PCs on our list. Its Lynx Mid Tower, for example, starts at $1,000 and comes with two dedicated GPUs. Need help paying? Financing options are on offer, with monthly repayments.
You can extend the warranties to six-year for labor and four years for parts. Digital Storm is also known for making complex setups and innovative water cooling configurations.
4. Xidax (Best Warranty Period)
- Specialty: Servers, Workstations, Laptops, Gaming
- Cost: $800 to $15,000
- Features: Virtual Reality, 4K HD, Overclocking, Water cooling
- Distribution: International
- Warranty: Lifetime warranty
What separates Xidax from its competitors is its lifetime warranty on labor and parts for its PC systems. However, there are a few exceptions, such as the AMD video cards and the liquid cooling components, which have short warranties.
Xidax usually replaces defective components with comparable parts for free. Should any parts of your PC get damaged, repairs can be made in exchange for in-store credit. Xidax also offers a 45-day money-back guarantee, subject to a 20 percent restocking fee.
The company also offers some of the cheapest base gaming desktops and is also known for quality custom PC builds that focus on matched components working well together. Xidax’s online catalog is also well presented, listing the least powerful X-2 to the overpowering X-10 models.

5. BLD by NZXT (Best in Customization)
- Specialty: PC, Content Creation, Media
- Cost: $700 to $4,000
- Features: Virtual Reality, 4K HD, Overclocking, Water cooling

Unlike most PC makers with pre-configured builds, BLD gives you complete freedom to create your rig. By answering a series of step-by-step questionnaires on their website, you can build a PC that caters to your personal needs and preference. You also get to choose your budget, the main game you intend to play, and other parameters to sort the best components for your rig. 6. Origin PC (Best for Graphics Card Stock)
- Specialty: Gaming, Laptops, Workstations, Home PCs
- Cost: $1,200 to $4,000+
- Features: Custom cases, 4K HD, PC Tuning
- Distribution: USA, Canada
- Warranty: Lifetime labor, one-year parts
Origin PC is one of the biggest names in the PC builder market, having been founded in 2009 and consistently providing an excellent service. This company offers both custom desktops and laptops, targeting gamers, professionals, and anyone in between. Of course, though, gaming is Origin’s main focus.
This PC building company has a large range of options for each user, from tiny mITX PCs to much larger workstation machines, and they all come inside custom-designed Origin cases. This ensures that every configuration on offer has been tested to ensure that the parts are compatible.
Origin PC has a great Gaming Desktop Advisor tool that makes it much easier to configure the right PC for you. Alongside this, the company also offers its machines on finance, giving you the chance to pay for your PC over a long period.
One of the key benefits of Origin PC is stock availability. Unlike many other custom PC builders, Origin has maintained a stock of graphics cards consistently over the last couple of years. This certainly makes up for the long 6-day+ wait time you will need to go through.
7. Singularity Computers (Best for Fully-Bespoke PCs)
- Specialty: Water-cooled PC Cases
- Cost: $2,000+
- Features: LED Lighting, Overclocking, Built-in Water Cooling, Bespoke Designs
- Distribution: International
- Warranty: One year
Unlike many other custom PC building companies, Singularity Computers was originally one man’s hobby, but the company has grown rapidly since finding fame on YouTube. And this makes sense: no other PC building company does it like Singularity.
Singularity designs and manufactures its own PC cases, all with advanced water cooling, incredible cable management, and, most importantly, style. A Singularity case can be part of your water cooling loop, housing your pump and even coming with channels for liquid. This is alongside other premium features that are very rarely seen in the PC building market.
Unfortunately, Singularity comes with a downside for those who want a custom-made PC delivered to their door: you have to get in contact to make an order for a whole PC. This makes the service less convenient than others, but it provides you with the means to take your PC building to the next level with custom parts.
8. AVADirect (Best Automatic PC Builder)
- Specialty: Gaming, Laptops, Workstations, Home PCs
- Cost: $700 to $3,500+
- Features: Easy part selection, 4K HD Gaming, Water Cooling
- Distribution: USA
- Warranty: Two-year labor, one-year parts
AVADirect has long been widely considered to be one of the best PC building sites on the web. As a giant in the market, this company is able to offer great value custom PCs that require little effort from the end-user with its intelligent PC building system.
You need only provide your budget, the games you want to play, the size you would like for your machine, and the brands you are happy to use, and you will be presented with a long list of machines that will be able to achieve what you are looking for. Once you pick a computer that looks right for you, you can customize it further to make sure that you have exactly the right setup.
AVADirect doesn’t make any promises when it comes to delivery time, though you can choose to pay for faster shipping if you want to. Thankfully, this company doesn’t charge an assembly fee for its machines.
Choose the Best Custom PC Building Site for You
Regardless of the best PC building site you choose, you can take comfort in the fact that the rig your purchase is a quality built system with reasonable parts and labor coverage. And this is all while getting excellent value at the same time.

Bottleneck calculator and PC build comparison
cpuagent has created the best way to compare gaming PC settings. we filter out everything that matters and show which computers the games will run on.
You can’t buy a more powerful gaming platform than a fancy desktop computer. here’s everything you need to know piece by piece to choose the right killer gaming system
looking for cheap computers for apex legends, red dead redemption, fortnite, minecraft or even sims? select your options below, narrow down your choices and use our charts to find the best PC deal.
The best gaming PCs let you enjoy the latest AAA titles the way they were meant to be played, whether you’re tearing through Doom Eternal or scaring yourself silly in Resident Evil 3.
why wait for ps5 and xbox x series? with the right gaming PC, you can enjoy features like ray tracing, 4K and 60fps gaming, and fast-loading SSDs right now. A PC build is a great option for those who want to set things up exactly how they see fit, but there are plenty of great pre-built gaming PC options out there that deliver great performance at a reasonable price.
but while gaming PCs are a great way to enjoy the latest games in stunning settings with minimal hassle, there’s a lot you need to know before spending thousands of dollars on one. and with such a large selection of PC models from leading manufacturers, finding a PC that fits your budget can be a daunting task.
That’s where we are. We regularly research, test and analyze the most popular gaming PCs to help you find the very best gaming PC for your needs.
Buying the best gaming PC as a turnkey system can be the best place to start when you’re getting into PC gaming or when you’re hitting a wall trying to upgrade your current system. Sure, building your own rig can be extremely satisfying, but simply buying a pre-built gaming PC will take all the stress out of a home project and give you a head start if, god forbid, something goes wrong.
While part of the inherent beauty of a gaming PC is the ability to upgrade components to improve performance, that capacity is limited. there is a tipping point when further renewal becomes uneconomical and a need for refurbishment arises. And this is where buying the best gaming PC you can afford makes a lot of sense.
It takes as much research to get a good deal on a finished gaming PC as it does to build a great high-end PC. some system builders will try to saddle you with a kit that charges extra for things you might not need, like overclocking, RGB, monitor or keyboard and mouse. even if you really need it, there’s often a good chance you’ll get something better for less.
balancing price and performance is our top priority. Ideally, your gaming PC should have one of the best graphics cards and the best processor for gaming, although this is not always financially feasible. but you can not save on one and go too far with the other; The nvidia rtx 2080 ti is only worth having when paired with a high-end processor that can harness its power. then there is support. after sales support is where a good system builder becomes a great system builder and this is where it can make sense to buy a pre-built machine.
all strong players think about how to build a gaming computer at one time or another and whether it is worth it. this is a great option if choice and crafting don’t scare you — sometimes it’s the only way to get exactly the configuration you want — or if you think it would be fun. but this is generally not a way to save money over an identical ready-to-ship model.
it might be cheaper than getting a dedicated premium model from companies like origin pc, falcon northwest, digital storm etc but on the other hand it’s nice to have someone else do the overclocking iterations, stability testing and burnout runs. There are few things more frustrating than getting ready and sitting down to play the last ahh scene only to have her crash during the opening cutscene and have only herself to blame.
The other high-end solution you may encounter is a desktop or laptop, especially since 17″ gaming laptops with desktop-class CPUs and GPUs like the alienware area-51m and acer predator helios 700 offer desktop-level performance with the convenience of an all-in-one. all-in-one with a really fast display optimized for gaming. While such large laptops usually support updates, it’s usually not as cheap or easy to do as it is with even the cheapest desktop.
Choosing the best PC for your games is always a compromise. every game uses system resources — CPU (aka cpu), GPU (gpu), memory (ram), storage — in different ways and often horribly inefficient. you can’t even count on resource usage to be the same for a specific game genre like first person shooter (fps), platformer or simulation because optimization levels can vary a lot. Gaming (and content-creating) computers are the unhappy children of consumer electronics: they’re loud, skittish, and require constant supervision. and just when you think they’re in control, they swerve into mad town.
Intel vs amd cpus: Unless you buy a custom build or make your own, you really won’t get to choose comparable configs to mix and match. manufacturers tend to choose configurations based on what they think will be popular at a given price level. choose your preferred graphics card and then see what CPU options are offered within your budget. amds tend to have lower clock speeds — they have higher base clocks and lower boost clocks, but still better multi-core performance for the money. If your favorite games are old, they probably don’t use more than four cores (if that’s the case) and will probably give you the power you need from fast individual Intel cores. however, the latest AMD processors have narrowed the gap in single-core performance with Intel significantly, and almost all of them support overclocking (Intel k-series only).
if you don’t have unlimited funds, price will also play a role in your decision. If you’re looking for a decent PC with basic to mid-range specs, you can expect to pay around $699. If you’re willing to spend around $1,000, you’re sure to find a solid mid-to-high spec tower. and if you’re feeling good and willing to shell out $1,500 or more, you can buy a very high-end system with top-notch specs like multiple GPUs and at least two drives (hard or solid state).

It can be difficult to determine when is the right time to upgrade your PC build. You may be asking yourself the question: should you update your computer every time new components are released, or is it better to wait until it stops working? The decision to upgrade your system really depends on how your computer currently performs, as well as your budget, as buying new parts can be very expensive. Here are some points to consider when deciding whether to upgrade your PC.
Component replacement
If any part of the system has stopped working and is causing problems for the rest of your PC components, it is recommended that you replace that particular part. If you delay the update too long, the faulty component can slow down other PC subsystems. If you’re not sure which component is causing your computer to stop working properly, it’s important to run diagnostic checks or see a PC technician. If you need to replace a broken part, it might be wise to consider upgrading other PC components as well to improve its overall performance.
Performance improvements
If your computer is not performing as it used to, updating certain parts of it is guaranteed to breathe new life into it. As a rule, the most important hardware component that can be upgraded to improve performance during games is the GPU. In recent years, games have become much more realistic, and therefore the gaming experience relies heavily on high frame rates. If you’re experiencing image stuttering or want to play more demanding games, replacing your graphics card can be one of the best solutions to improve performance and improve your gaming experience.
If you’re having problems loading pages, live streaming, or responsiveness, consider upgrading or replacing your RAM. Increasing the computer’s RAM can be beneficial for gamers because response times will decrease, frame rates will increase, and games will run more smoothly. 16 GB is the optimal amount of RAM that we recommend for a quality gaming experience. Also, depending on workloads, applications, and multitasking, it may be wise to use 32 GB of RAM to prepare your system for future workloads.
Upgrading your storage is also a good upgrade if you’re running out of space to store your games or are experiencing slow downloads. Keep in mind that you’ll be storing more than just games on an SSD, so it’s recommended that you have at least 500 GB of storage space. We recommend a 1TB or 2TB drive. Then you will surely not run out of space for new games.
Latest Components
Some gamers don’t wait until their computer stops working or its performance drops before updating the system. They want to upgrade every time a new amazing component comes out. Manufacturers are constantly competing with each other, releasing ever faster and smaller components with impressive new features. The hype around new products can make you feel like you need to upgrade sooner than you really need to. Updating your PC build every time a new component comes out can turn into a very costly habit. However, if you’re a serious gamer and your budget allows for it, updating your PC build with the latest components will provide the highest levels of performance.
Should I upgrade my PC?
In conclusion, we note that it is important to pay attention to the work of your PC. Keep all components working properly and monitor system performance. If you notice that a component has stopped working or system performance is dropping, it’s time to upgrade. Most gamers need a high performance system to get the best gaming experience. While updating your system can be a bit of a hassle, it will help ensure that your PC is still a powerful gaming machine.

$500 build on Ryzen 5 5600G. Comparison with PC on Core i5-12400 for the same money GECID.com.
::>Processors
>2022
> AMD Ryzen 5 5600G
16-08-2022
In one of the previous builds, we gave an example of an inexpensive modern computer on the latest Intel platform, so that you can already work now, and then you can easily upgrade. The budget was at the level of $500, which at that time was about UAH 18,000.
But many people wrote in the comments that they could build better, more powerful and generally on the Ryzen 5 5600G. Such a system would be more efficient now, and in the future, updating the system will give approximately the same result. According to the first statement, there is no point in arguing, the integrated Vega graphics are more powerful, but the second one needs to be checked. Therefore, in this video we will build a PC for about the same money on the AMD platform and at the price of that time.
By the way, we will assemble using a smart configurator on the Telemart.ua website, where you will find many components, peripherals and network equipment to suit your needs and wallet. And more recently, the range of services has been expanded: now, in addition to assembling and testing the system, you can check the monitor for broken pixels, ask to update the BIOS, clean and replace thermal paste, and much more useful.
First, reset the configuration to the minimum, or almost the same. We start with the Ryzen 5 5600G processor.
Here are the same 6 cores for 12 threads at up to 4.4 GHz. That’s just compared to older models, the cache memory is only 16 MB and a maximum of PCI-E 3.0 is supported for a video card. In terms of the last parameter, the Intel LGA1700 platform is far ahead, and it will be possible to install 5.0 there when they appear, of course. But the Ryzen Ryzen 5 5600G has a powerful Vega 7 integrated graphics in case there is no external video card, which is much faster than Intel’s «embeds».
We take a boxed version of the processor, that is, with a minimum suitable cooler.
Thinking in the same direction — for a possible upgrade — we look at the motherboard, which will be based on the AMD B550 chipset. So that the new processors will definitely work in the future, and the video card with PCI-E 4.0 will start up if necessary. Of the inexpensive options, and so that with a heatsink on a power stabilizer, the MSI B550M PRO-VDH looks nice. It also has all the current ports for connecting a monitor, the ability to install two M.2 drives at once, and all this on a Micro-ATX board.
This pair of components already shows that the AMD platform will be cheaper. And for integrated graphics and for the future, fast RAM will not hurt. Therefore, we immediately look at DDR4-3600. The most affordable option turned out to be the already familiar Patriot Viper Steel modules. We take two by eight, so that the dual-channel mode will work and there will be 16 GB, which is now the minimum for games, especially since it will take up part of the integrated graphics as a video buffer. This is not the first time we use just such modules because they are inexpensive and there were no complaints about them.
But we take a power source similar to the previous assembly — CHIEFTEC Proton BDF-600S. We have never had any problems with it, and 600 watts is enough for a future upgrade. In addition, it is 80 PLUS Bronze certified, state-of-the-art DC-DC converter circuitry that provides good output parameters, operates over a wide input voltage range, and the cable loops simplify the assembly process. We even have a review on it.
It remains to add the drive. For example, let it be Silicon Power P34A60 with 256 GB, which we indicated as one of the inexpensive and definitely working alternatives in the previous assembly.
Well, for starters, let the case also be the most accessible of those into which all this iron can be stuffed. It turned out to be 2E BASIS RD860-U3.
As you can see, even with the collection comes out less than 17 thousand hryvnia. That is, almost one and a half thousand to make it more powerful, more beautiful and colder.
Let’s start with the last one. Let’s take a case that is more spacious and better with fans included. We double the budget for the box and see what is available. For example, 1stPlayer D4-4R1-BK Color LED looks much more solid and has as many as three fans in front behind the mesh and one for blowing out, and even with backlight. Also in this case with a modern layout and glass on the side, you can place a CPU cooler up to 160 mm high, and the length of the video card can reach 305 mm. It should be beautiful, cool and promising for upgrades.
With such a case, the computer began to cost 17.5 thousand UAH. And if you also assemble it yourself, then you can definitely take at least twice as much drive, because 500 GB is easier to turn around. Let’s take, for example, from the same brand as memory — Patriot P300. It will provide pleasant speed characteristics. In addition, two of these already work in our working systems without any complaints.
We could stop there. But we are looking forward to the remark — it was necessary to take the OEM processor and better cooling for it. Well, let’s check if the boxed cooler is that bad. What do we have here from popular towers and not for all the money in the world? For example, the Deepcool GAMMAXX GTE V2 will definitely cope with the cooling of the Ryzen 5 5600G and then fit something more powerful, and even has a backlight in unison with the case.
Now everyone can make a system. The process itself, predictably, did not cause any trouble, but the first launch caused some excitement. Fans almost do not glow! We even thought about marriage, but not all four at the same time.
It turned out that the fan speed is regulated by voltage, the level of which determines how the backlight works. By default, the motherboard activates silent mode and sets it to 7.2V, which gives an acoustically comfortable 800-900 rpm But only the three lower red LEDs glow at this voltage. At a voltage of 12V, the fans start to shine as they should! But now at 1400 rpm their work is clearly audible. What to choose: beautiful or quiet?
And more about the case and the backlight. The color of the fans is fixed, and the LED button on the front panel is a rudiment, according to the manufacturer, that is, it does nothing and there is nowhere to connect it.
Well, first of all, let’s check whether it was worth, say, taking a more powerful processor cooler instead of a larger SSD?
If you save money and stay with a boxed cooler, then with a stressful load on the processor and graphics parts, the system becomes hot. So the CPU warms up to almost 92°C, and the video core peaks up to 80°C, although other components are quite comfortable. And all this with an acoustically comfortable 900 fan speed. Yes, the critical temperature is 95°C and it has not been reached, we can say that the boxed cooler has coped well.
With the tower version, the APU becomes much more comfortable: now the cores do not boil, their temperature is only 74°C, and the graphics core generally warms up to 65°C only for short moments. Most of the time its average temperature is 10°C cooler. The rest of the system components, one might say, did not notice the cooler change.
And what happens if you add a video card to the system with a boxed cooler, not even the most powerful one, for example, the GeForce GeForce RTX 3060. Now the APU is no time for jokes — its temperature reaches a critical 95 ° C. And in order not to faint from overheating, the processor part begins to slightly reduce the operating frequencies. In addition, the motherboard becomes hotter.
If the responsibility for cooling the CPU is shifted to Deepcool GAMMAXX GTE V2, then it is the APU that no longer boils, but operates at a comfortable temperature and keeps boost frequencies. But now the cooler doesn’t blow on the oregano and it gets even hotter, it’s not critical, but it’s worth noting this point. It is good that the case joins the fight against global warming of the system and does not allow heated air to stagnate.
With the more economical Radeon RX 6600 XT, the temperatures of all components will be a few degrees lower, but the trend continues.
Now for a more obvious comparison, how much more powerful is the Vega 7?
Vega 7 vs UHD Graphics 730
With the same low settings in CS:GO, she simply has twice the performance in all indicators — from very rare events to average fps.
Such a reserve allows you to dramatically improve the graphics and already here and now with the Ryzen 5 5600G to play at maximum settings. Curiously, even in this case, AMD has 7-9% more fps, with quite comfortable gameplay.
Dota 2 is a bit more reserved. At low graphics settings and full rendering, Vega 7 has about the same rare events, but with a 32% higher average frame rate. This gives you confidence that you can try the best graphics.
In this case, the Ryzen 5 5600G sometimes stutters during ability casting, and the frame rate can drop to 35-40 fps. The gameplay is relatively convenient, so you can still tweak the settings in search of a balance between smoothness and beauty. Fortunately, Vega 7 allows this to a greater extent than UHD Graphics 730.
In Fortnite at low settings and half render, Vega 7 again makes Intel very unpleasant.
With the Ryzen 5 5600G, very rare events and the average frequency is not 25% or 50% higher, but simply 3 TIMES! Again, it is possible to set aside half an hour and achieve a prettier picture while maintaining smoothness.
For example, by trial and error, we created such a cocktail — medium settings and a render scale of 71%. Most of the time, the picture and smoothness are pleasing, but there are periodic slowdowns that fail 0.1% low to 22 fps.
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege is already fixing the pattern at low settings and half render. Once again, the Ryzen 5 5600G integrated graphics advantage against the Core i5-12400 by a factor of two.
And even after switching the graphics quality to very high settings, there is a 70% advantage in very rare events and 60% in the average frequency. With these settings, the picture is noticeably prettier, and the gameplay is just as smooth and comfortable.
So once again we fix the common truth. If buying a video card is in a very distant future and you want to play more comfortably here and now, the Ryzen 5 5600G is the choice.
Comparison with assembly on Core i5-12400
And now consider the second half of the medal — the future upgrade. After all, the systems, first of all, were assembled for this purpose. Perhaps with a discrete graphics card Core i5 will open in full force? But let’s start with synthetics.
In 3DMark Port Royal, we are seeing an interesting exchange — the GeForce RTX 3060 performed better with Ryzen 5, and the AMD video card, on the contrary, with the competitor’s processor. The myth about the need to combine red with red, and green with blue has been destroyed.
Although the difference is not significant — from half to two percent.
If 3DMark Time Spy looks at the main Graphics Score, then there is not much difference with which processor the video cards worked. Everything is within the margin of error. Although the processor power indicator is better for Intel: by 12% compared to the RTX 3060 and by 24% in relation to the RX 6600XT.
The third benchmark from the 3DMark package is Wild Life Extreme. Here is a discrete video card on the drum — both from AMD and from Intel. Here only «integryashki» knock each other.
And finally, the comprehensive PCMark 10 benchmark. The GeForce RTX 3060 video card is by and large equally good with both processors, but the Radeon RX 6600 XT is a little more sympathetic to the Core i5 — by 5% in the final indicator and up to 10% in the scenario creating digital content.
If we take the average value for all benchmarks, then both video cards performed better with the Intel processor: RTX 3060 — by 2%, and RX 6600 XT — by 6%. Let’s see if there will be the same small difference in games, or maybe more serious?
Something interesting happens in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla at ultra-high settings with DirectX 12. The RTX 3060 is 22% better than the very rare events associated with the Ryzen 5 5600G. If you plan to add the RX 6600 XT to your future system, then the Core i5-12400 is a slightly better pair for it, since with it it will offer a 9% higher average frequency and be a couple of percent ahead in rare events.
Cyberpunk 2077 was explored far and wide. The first run was on ultra-graphics settings, without tracing and with DLSS and FSR turned off. Here, on the contrary, both video cards preferred Core i5. The difference with Ryzen 5 is 7-16% for the RTX 3060 and 4-6% for the RX 6600 XT.
At the second stage, only one change was made in the settings — they turned on Ray Tracing. On the Radeon, the plug-in is expected to fall to the level of a slideshow. At the same time, at 1 frame per second, this very show is better from the Ryzen 5. But this can hardly be written as a plus for the Ryzen 5 5600G. But what is definitely possible is a 31% bonus in terms of 0.1% Low when working with the RTX 3060. Has NVIDIA secretly made a choice in favor of AMD processors?
And the third setting option is to get out of a steep dive using DLSS and FSR technologies on the balance sheet. In the case of the Radeon RX 6600 XT, there is not much difference — everything is within the margin of error. But the RTX 3060 again chooses Ryzen. She has a 22% improvement in framerate stutter with it.
Core i5 hits Far Cry 6 with ultra graphics and no rays yet. Both graphics cards are chosen by Intel. RTX 3060 performed better by 11-15%, and RX 6600 XT by 23-35%!
True, Ryzen will gain some lost ground after enabling tracing. The RTX 3060 sags 15% less with it. This is more important than a slight advantage in the average frequency from Intel. Well, the Radeon RX 6600 XT without options again votes for the Core i5. With him, she works 11-17% more productively.
And, in the end, Forza Horizon 5 with the most graphics. Here again victory for the blue. The RTX 3060 looks 2-3% better with it, and the Radeon RX 6600 XT looks 9-12% better.
What could this mean?
Conclusions
So, it’s time to sort out all the information. First of all, let’s answer the question, which of the two $500 builds is better for playing here and now?
Well, the answer is obvious — Vega 7 as part of the Ryzen processor is sometimes several times more powerful than Intel UHD Graphics 730. If buying a video card is in a very distant future, it is better to build a system on AMD. It will turn out to be a good option to sit out difficult times in online games and hits of the past.
If a discrete video card is just around the corner, it’s hard to say which system is more optimal for the next upgrade — AMD or Intel. It all depends on the specific situation and video card.
For example, the GeForce RTX 3060 outperformed the Ryzen 5 5600G in most games. The same Assassins Creed and Cyberpunk gave up to 22% the best indicator of 0.1% Low. But for some reason, the Radeon RX 6600 XT instead of the native AMD Ryzen took and chose the Core i5. For example, in Far Cry 6 with blue, she delivered 33% better very rare events. And if we summarize all the benchmarks, then the Core i5-12400 gave it 7-9% faster than Ryzen 5 5600G. That is, in addition to optimization in games and drivers, the dependence of the video card on the speed of the interface is important: for younger Radeons, this is more pronounced, as the tests showed.
In general, if you have about $500 to build a system and want to play here and now on the integrated graphics, and sometime in the future throw in a discrete graphics card with a full set of PCI-E lanes, definitely build on the Ryzen 5 5600G . And if the graphics adapter is in the near future, especially when it is an entry-level solution from AMD, where there are 8 or only 4 PCI-E 4.0 lanes, then the Core i5-12400 system looks more appropriate.

Choosing the best PC cases for PC builds is important as it’s not only what you’ll be building inside, but also what you’ll be looking at the most. Not only should it look good, but the chassis should also be easy to work with and offer plenty of user-friendly features.
There is also the size that really matters. I’m going to walk you through a few of the options available to you, depending on how big (or small) you want your PC build to be.
You probably won’t need a full tower, but it would be nice to have one if you can afford one that gives you plenty of room to expand. They can also be incredibly expensive, with some of the more premium full-towers costing countless hundreds of dollars. You also need to make sure there is enough space on the table for one.
The Corsair Obsidian 1000D is a monster PC case that allows you to fit two full-fledged computers inside one case. That’s right, you can have two power supplies, two motherboards, and two other components installed inside, and is still there is free space. If you want a large case with full water cooling support, this is the choice for you.
Corsair Obsidian 1000D
Corsair Obsidian 1000D is pretty ridiculous. You can fit two PC builds inside, as many heatsinks as you can get, and still have room to spare. It is also very well designed, but very expensive.

Medium Tower
Something like Phanteks’ Eclipse P350X is worth keeping in mind, especially if you’re looking to save some money. It may be more affordable than most mid-tower cases, but it’s a great option thanks to E-ATX motherboard support, good thermal performance, and a tempered glass side panel.
Phanteks Eclipse P350X
The best value you can buy is the one that meets all your requirements for quality, style and ease of use. The P350X is an embedding dream with superb expandability and a top-notch cable management system. It outperforms many much more expensive cases in every way.
