Gaming card for 2014 with great features
Got this card delivered to me in 3 days. I was so excited to use this card as the way the features are available on this card and this card can be run on PCIEx16 2.0 Version as well though it is a PCIEx16 ,3 version. As the latest PCIE cards are compatible on older versions as well. well first of all i would like to point out the fact that most of the reviews i’ve seen here are pretty dubious at best.
.some saying they can play crysis 3 at ultra settings, battlefield 4 at ultra settings, gta 4 maxed out and blah blah !…..the reality is i own a gtx 650 and that card can barely manage high settings in 1366×768 resolution with 35-40 fps at most,as for BF4 i’ve set res. to 1366×768 with high preset, hbao-off and antialiasing-off as well…and i get around 40fps in mutiplaye…

It’s amazing to know that I bought this almost 2 years back. Time flies.
I wouldn’t say this is the best GPU for gaming, you have a lot of options these days the GTX 900s, 10 series. AMD RX 460,70 etc.
But at THIS price, It is most definitely value for money.
I play Pro Evolution Soccer 2017 at medium settings with NO lag.
WWE 2k16, low settings, FPS is 40-50.
For CS: GO, this is more than enough. Get 70-80 fps.

GameGangsta host tested the performance of the Radeon R7 240 graphics accelerator in 25 games. Among them — Grand Theft Auto IV, Counter Strike GO, Assassin’s Creed Unity, Call of Duty WWII, Battlefield V, Forza Horizon 4, PUBG (Update 14.1), Fortnite (Chapter 2 Season 8), Apex Legends (Emergence Patch), Call of Duty Warzone (Season 6), Metro Exodus, Need for Speed Heat, Red Dead Redemption 2, Mafia Definitive Edition, Watch Dogs Legion, Cyberpunk 2077, Resident Evil Village, Aliens Fireteam Elite, Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2, New World, WRC 10, Crysis Remastered, Crysis 2 Remastered, Crysis 3 Remastered, Far Cry 6.
In Grand Theft Auto IV performance is around 60 fps on average, and in very rare events drops to 14 fps.
A little higher — about 70-75 fps — it becomes in Counter Strike GO ; in extremely rare events, the number of frames is reduced to 16 fps. But in Assassin’s Creed Unity , the performance does not exceed an average of 20 fps, while there are frame drops of up to 14 fps in very rare events.
Call of Duty WWII comes with an average fps of about 40 fps, in very rare events this number is 24 fps, and Battlefield V starts with performance in the region of 22-23 fps on average and 10 fps in very rare events. In Forza Horizon 4 you can drive with fps of about 20-25 fps on average, while at times the number of frames in extremely rare events will drop to 16 fps.
PUBG (Update 14.1) starts at 26-28 fps on average and 14 fps on very rare events. nine0005 Fortnite goes a bit better with 40 fps on average and 16 fps on very rare events when dropping.
In Apex Legends , the video card shows about 50 fps on average and 19 fps in extremely rare events.
But Call of Duty Warzone , like WRC 10 or Crysis Remastered , starts only with about 20 fps on average; performance in very rare events in it was 13 fps. Approximately the same results were shown by the accelerator in Metro Exodus , but the speed in extremely rare events was reduced to 8 fps.
The average performance remained around 20 fps in Need for Speed Heat . About 14-16 fps is the average performance level in Red Dead Redemption 2 , Mafia Definitive Edition , Resident Evil Village , Aliens Fireteam Elite , Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 . Around 9-10 fps there is an average of Watch Dogs Legion , same as Cyberpunk 2077 . 25 fps is achieved on average in New World , Crysis 2 Remastered , Crysis 3 Remastered and Far Cry 6 .
