Ryzen Embedded R1505G is a 64-bit dual-core embedded x86 microprocessor introduced by AMD in early 2019. This processor is based on AMD’s Zen microarchitecture and is fabricated on a 14 nm process. The R1505G operates at a base frequency of 2.4 GHz with a TDP of 15 W and a Boost frequency of up to 3.3 GHz. This MPU supports up to 32 GiB of dual-channel DDR4-2400 memory and incorporates Radeon Vega 3 Graphics operating at up to 1 GHz.

AMD Ryzen R1000: Dual Ryzen Cores and Vega 3 Graphics

AMD has introduced the new Ryzen Embedded R1000 processors, which sit just below the V1000 line. For the R1000 series, AMD has developed a completely new chip that combines two Zen cores with Vega 3 integrated graphics. The processors are manufactured using a 14nm process technology at GlobalFoundries.

Two new models in the Ryzen Embedded R1000 line are based on two cores, they can run four threads simultaneously. Integrated Vega 3 graphics contains three Compute Units, i.e. 192 stream processors. Similar CPU and GPU configurations have been encountered before, but AMD obtained them by rejecting large chips with defects (or simply turning off the blocks).

TDP of the chips is between 12 and 25 W, L2 cache is 1 MB, both models are equipped with a rather large L3 cache — 4 MB. The base frequency is set to 2. 4 and 2.6 GHz, respectively, in Boost mode with a load on one core, a frequency of up to 3.5 GHz is possible.
