MORE DETAILS
The AMD A10-6700 is a quad-core Richland APU (CPU+GPU) based on second generation Bulldozer micro-architecture (code named Piledriver) launched in Q3 of 2013. The A10-6700 is the power efficient (TDP of 65 Watts) version of the A10-6800K (TDP of 100 Watts) and is only slightly slower, scoring an effective speed of 68 versus the A10-6800K’s 73. Its base clock speed is 3.7 GHz which automatically turbo boosts to 4.3 GHz when needed and is sufficient for most generic desktop applications. The integrated HD 8670 Graphics are comparable to Intel’s recent HD offerings. The A10-6700 offers reasonable performance at a reasonable price point. But comparing the A10-6700 and i3-4360 shows that the comparably priced 4360 wins hands down on nearly every metric, and is therefore a better alternative. [Dec ’14 CPUPro]

AMD A10 Micro-6700T processor overview
AMD’s A10 Micro-6700T processor, developed on the Mullins microarchitecture of cores, is designed for notebooks. The processor was released on April 29, 2014.
The frequencies of 1200 MHz per core are sufficient for the main tasks of notebook users. And the new Turbo Core technology will provide high processor power by raising the frequency from 1200 to 2200 MHz.
The temperature limit in operation reaches 90 degrees. The processor is designed exclusively for Socket FT3 motherboards.
The processor has PCI support, with which we can install various devices.
Inexpensive processor released in 2014, best of all will prove itself in office tasks, work and study. This processor and at the moment does not lose its relevance.
Competitors and analogues
On Socket FT3, solutions from AMD are clearly different from competitors: model 3340B on socket FT3 from the A4 processor line, GX-420MC 2014, A4-6250 based on the Beema architecture, A8-6410 2014 model year, model X2170 on socket FT3 among the Opteron family of processors, model 3350B on socket FT3 among the PRO A4 line. Among the analogues of processors from Intel, it is worth noting the 6Y30 BGA1515 model from the Core m3 processor line, the Pentium 2030M based on the Ivy Bridge architecture, the newer Celeron 39 processor55U, Haswell-Y Core i5-4220Y, 2013 Core i3-4010U, and Celeron’s 2970M PGA946 model.
If we take into account the entire line of Core processors, then it holds the 37th position among them.
