What Is AMD A9 Processor?
AMD A9 Processor refers to the 7th and some 6th generation of AMD (Advanced Micro Devices) Accelerated Processing Unit (APU), which is the marketing term for a series of 64-bit microprocessors from AMD and is designed to act as a CPU (Central Processing Unit) and GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) on a single die. APUs, formerly called Fusion, are general-purpose processors that feature integrated graphics processors (IGPs).
Therefore, AMD A9 processor can also be called AMD A9 CPU or even AMD A9 GPU.
