Note: All regularly sold AGP 3dfx Voodoo video cards only support AGP 1.0 (AGP 1x/2x) — they work with 3.3V only. Using them in a AGP 2.0, AGP 3.0 or AGP 3.5 Slot can destroy the Voodoo card and the motherboard.

Once again, we will make life easier for users of Voodoo 5 video cards by publishing drivers for this board under the new Windows XP operating system from Microsoft.

* Improved compatibility with AMD processors.
* Two Glide technology demos have been added to the distribution.

* Fixed incompatibility with PowerVR Kyro II graphics cards.Unlike the original 3dfx drivers, FastVoodoo2 adds support for Edge AntiAliasing to Voodoo 2 in Windows 2000/XP. To enable/disable this function from the \Tools\AntiAliasing folder of the driver, run the REG files «glide_aa_on» and «glide_aa_off» respectively. The developers also recommend using the driver in conjunction with DirectX 9.0 or later.

I’m still trying to install the Voodoo II (8mb) driver on windows server 2003, but the current DRIVER supports Glide mode. Can someone thread can advise a driver with support for Direct3D and openGL? It is very necessary, in advance senks!!!

Amigamerlin 3.1 — a new driver for existing 3dfx video cards Voodoo
— one of the key features of which is support for full-screen anti-aliasing using the Temporal AA method on Voodoo 5! Now the new driver is released under the name Amigamerlin 3.1 and has the following features:

— Supports Voodoo 3/4/5 (including Voodoo 5 6000) under Windows 2000/XP.
— Based on the Direct3D kernel of the advanced SFFT driver, contains new Glide3x libraries.
— Distributed with MesaFx 6.2.0.1 libraries (for running Doom 3) and MesaFx 6.2.0.2.
— Contains utilities for activating Temporal AA mode, as well as switching between DirectX 7/8 support.
— Includes the 3dfx Tools control panel.
To install the driver correctly, you need to install it through the Control Panel, and after rebooting, install 3dfx Tools.

It’s called LegendGrafix VooDooMage2 XP 2.2.0. Supports Glide, OpenGL, DirectX, even emulates DirectX 8.0. Tested on Windows XP SP2 — works (for me). On dead old computers, however, DirectX does not work for some reason … But the driver is developing, maybe the bug will be fixed soon.

And no one will throw a driver from 9 at me0372 3dfx Velocity 100/200 versions older than 1.02.18 under Win9x.
Because Microsoft Office XP is terribly buggy with younger versions. On the website of the small-sized one it is written that firewood 1.02.18 or older is needed.

3dfx SFFT Driver Alpha 41 for Voodoo3/4/5
A new version of alternative SFFT driver designed for long discontinued 3dfx video cards has been released. Works in the environment of operating systems Windows 2000 and XP. Available in a single version for the entire series of Voodoo3, 4 and 5 cards, has a unified architecture. Developed by a group of enthusiasts, since only memories remained from 3dfx itself, but working copies of maps.
Installed through Device Manager by manually updating the driver.

Who knows, on the video card nVIDIA GeForce FX 5700 (PCI hardware ID \ VEN_10DE&DEV_0342 &SUBSYS_00000000&REV_A1) do drivers for WINDOWS 7 exist at all? If not, what should be set?
