Subsoiler Salford DRH-9800 — Salford Russia
Subsoiler SALFORD 9800 DRH is a new generation of multi-operation implements for basic deep tillage.
In one pass, the Salford DRH 9800 Soil Ripper breaks up crop residue, progressively breaks soil compaction and levels the surface.
Deep looseners cover crop residues in the top layer and create mulch, restore soil filtration and provide free access of oxygen to the cultivated depth. Conditions are created for active accumulation of moisture and acceleration of mineralization of crop residues.

The implement is designed as follows:
- Two rows of discs are installed in the front of the frame, each of which is mounted on an individual rack. The spherical discs (serrated and/or smooth) are designed to break up and maximize the mixing of dense crop residues. The hydraulic system for ensuring the pressure of the discs on the soil is equipped with a safety relief valve to prevent serious damage to the implement when it collides with an obstacle.
- The middle part of the frame is occupied by a slotter – the posts are arranged in three rows at 51 cm intervals. Each rack has a spring protection mechanism with resistance from 1000 to 1816 kg.
- A three-row mounted reinforced three-row harrow (tooth 12.7 mm x 500 mm) and combing rollers (diameter 356 mm) complete the treatment. The ribs of the combing roller are arranged in a spiral. The roller rolls the surface, breaks up clods, flattens crop residues.
The working depth of the constituent components of the implement is individually adjustable: the discs work up to 10 cm, the coulter shares from 15 to 41 cm. - The implement frame rests on wide wheels on a tandem suspension. Its design provides for copying large irregularities, which ensures a smooth ride and prevents «burrowing».
The Salford DRH 9800 subsoiler works on various backgrounds, including perennial grasses.

Straight shank
with 43.2cm wing attachment is used to completely lift the soil layer. The wide nozzle can be combined with a reversible chisel. By changing the size of the bit, you can easily change the amount of crop residue on the surface. Processing with straight tines and 43.2 cm nozzles leaves a fairly flat field surface.
Parabolic tine
Loosens the soil and improves soil preparation without turning over the layers. Parabolic loosening helps eliminate re-compaction of the layers, allowing the root system of crops to fully develop, and also contributes to a freer passage of water and air deep into the soil.
