Electronic Arts and Crytek have officially announced that a multiplayer PC demo of the first-person shooter Crysis 2 will be released three weeks before the game’s release on March 1, 2011.

Electronic Arts and Crytek have officially announced that a multiplayer PC demo of the first-person shooter Crysis 2 will be released three weeks before the game’s release on March 1, 2011.

The demo will feature two multiplayer locations, Skyline and Pier 17, which can be tried out in two modes, Team Instant Action and Crash Site. The essence of the first mode is to kill as many enemies as possible as part of one of the teams, in the second you will need to fight to hold control points. A demo will be available for download on the Crysis 2 website and «partner resources».

Crysis 2 is expected to release on March 22, 2011.
