2. Many people write that they buy Intel Xeon E5620 for their own gaming needs. As for me, this is a purely specialized processor for servers. Well, actually I bought it for this purpose. I assembled a server for a small company, about 50 people. It copes with its task of distributing data and storing it perfectly. There are no complaints from employees. It did not overheat during tests, although I immediately installed CoolerMaster (several). Been off for half a year now. Everything is fine. I recommend to collect the server.
3. I think the intel xeon e 5620 processor is better than the x5550 series processors, but I wanted to buy them for the server.
BENEFITS: Quad-core socket intel xeon processor has 12 threads — great for multitasking. It heats up less than the processors of the mentioned x5550 series. Didn’t see any bugs. Huge cache. The RAM is supported in large volumes. Does its job well, reliable.
