Firestrike download: 3DMark benchmark for Windows, Android and iOS

3DMark Basic is a freeware performance benchmarking app and benchmarker, developed by Futuremark for Windows. It’s pretty powerful.

The download has been tested by an editor here on a PC and a list of features has been compiled; see below. We’ve also created some screenshots of 3DMark Basic to illustrate the user interface and show the overall usage and features of this performance benchmarking program.

Is 3DMark Basic free to download?

3DMark Basic is provided under a freeware license on Windows from benchmark software with no restrictions on usage. Download and installation of this PC software is free and 2.26.8113 is the latest version last time we checked.

What version of Windows can 3DMark Basic run on?

3DMark Basic can be used on a computer running Windows 11 or Windows 10. It’s only available as a 64-bit download.

Other operating systems: The latest 3DMark Basic version from 2023 is also available for Android. These are often available from the app store.

A good project, especially against the background of other similar ones (of the same company and others). Somewhere up to level 7 or from strength 14 you can safely play (mostly with bots, but there are people, and bots are very smart). Then you can demolish: the bots will just run up to you and immediately kill you. Only the very naive can then start paying and buying powerful weapons for gold…

But I highly recommend the game. It looks like she’s actively sipping. The programmers are just great. The game designer here is clearly competent. Even advertising they try to make unobtrusive.

Here’s what I don’t understand: publishers are just idiots in life, right? In order for people to pay you, you need to give the product they need. If you can’t sell a paid game, then making it free is useless: you won’t make money from it anyway. People won’t pay for something they don’t need. If you are on iOS, sorry, you can pay a thousand re even for the most AAA game. But what are you paying for here? So that the bots don’t kill me with one shot?… Do you know how far I can send?… You don’t know such distances: I’m a professional physicist. Give me what I need, I’ll pay.

I personally would like to add the following here:
a) Somehow solve the age-old problem when two people stand and shoot at each other: this is stupid, I’m not interested in playing like that. Let, for example, from the first hit a person falls sharply. That will at least be fun. Finishing off the lying down can be difficult.
b) Somehow solve the age-old problem of unfair balance. Those who bought weapons will still have to be imprisoned against the weak. Then you need to do it honestly. Make thematic missions: with hostages, with collectors. And so that, according to their plot, one team was fundamentally stronger. The weak may then simply be more. Or the strong will be burdened with guarding the hostages (or the safe).

Then, here, I will have something to pay for: this is what I really need from such a game. Yes, and tournaments with a tournament fee can simply be done, as in chess: there will also be something to pay for.
