Introducing GTX 1660 Ti: The Perfect 1080p Upgrade
As of today, two thirds of GeForce gamers are playing on systems with GeForce GTX 960-levels of performance, or with GPUs slower still, preventing them from enjoying high, responsive framerates, and the glorious levels of detail offered by AnthemTM, BattlefieldTM V, Metro Exodus and other modern games.
For gamers looking for an affordable option for reviving their systems’ languishing performance, we’re introducing the new GeForce GTX 1660 Ti, a plug-and-play straight swap for the vast majority of PCs begging for an upgrade. It’s 3x faster than a GTX 960, 1. 5x faster than a GTX 1060, and offers comparable performance to a GTX 1070.
And… surprise! It’s available now from partners worldwide, starting at $279.
The GeForce GTX 1660 Ti is built on the Turing architecture, which debuted with the world’s fastest graphics card, the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti. And like the GeForce RTX graphics cards, the GTX 1660 Ti features numerous architectural enhancements that accelerate performance, improve efficiency, and deliver a superior gaming experience.
In particular, Turing’s shader innovations are of the greatest benefit, enabling the GTX 1660 Ti to excel in modern games with complex shaders, and to further extend its performance advantage over previous-generation GPUs.
In terms of framerate, these enhancements enable you to hit 120 FPS in Apex Legends, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 — Blackout, Fortnite and PUBG, 147 FPS in DOOM, 112 FPS in Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, 80 FPS in Battlefield V, 74 FPS in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and 70 FPS in Grand Theft Auto V, all at 1920×1080 with High settings.
In addition to its architectural enhancements that accelerate the performance of these titles so significantly, the GTX 1660 Ti also supports our Adaptive Shading technology, which debuted in Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. This boosts framerates by automatically concentrating shading horsepower on areas of the scene that need it the most, and as more developers integrate Adaptive Shading the faster GTX 1660 Ti will get, further increasing its lead over previous-generation GPUs.
Other details of note: the GTX 1660 Ti features 6GB of super-fast GDDR6 VRAM, as used on GeForce RTX GPUs, and a 192-bit memory interface, giving it 50% more memory bandwidth than the GTX 1060. Out of the box, GPU Boost Clocks start at 1770 MHz, though several partner cards push that number higher, and some have advanced custom coolers that enable overclockers to hit up to 1950 MHz on air (in our testing). And power efficiency is up to 1. 4x higher, enabling a substantial performance boost at the same 120 Watt TDP.
All this wonderous technical wizardry is of course supported by NVIDIA’s unprecedented line-up of game and experience enhancing features.
GeForce Experience delivers game setting recommendations and updated, optimized drivers for all the biggest games; Ansel enables you snap in-game photos in hundreds of titles; Freestyle transforms the look of your game in real-time; Highlights captures your best gameplay moments from Fortnite, Metro Exodus, PUBG, and other titles; ShadowPlay enables you to stream and record uninterrupted gameplay; GameWorks effects enhance Metro Exodus, Shadow of the Tomb Raider and other leading titles; and GameStream enables you to enjoy your PC games from the comfort of your sofa.
Furthermore, even after a product’s launched, we keep on working, adding value to your purchase over the years. In January, we added support for G-SYNC Compatible variable refresh rate displays to dozens of GeForce GPUs. These displays help you avoid tearing and VSync-induced input lag, and more, enhancing your experience when you’re intently staring at your screen in tense battle royale matches and marathon multi-hour gaming sessions.
For buyers of the GTX 1660 Ti, G-SYNC Compatible monitors are a great upgrade that noticeably improve every second of your gameplay. Learn more here.
Most recently, we introduced an update to NVIDIA’s Encoder (NVENC) in OBS Studio that improves performance and unlocks new image quality settings when broadcasting.
The GTX 1660 Ti comes equipped with the new Turing NVENC, the same NVIDIA Encoder found on RTX 20-Series GPUs. With this, and the new version of OBS Studio, you can game and stream from one GTX 1660 Ti PC without compromise, something that was previously impossible given the demands of live broadcasting. In other words, you can game at high detail levels and framerates, and simultaneously give your viewers a superior experience with a higher stream quality that has improved clarity and definition. For further details, head here.
Introducing The GeForce GTX 1660 Ti
Altogether, the goodness presented above forms the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti, a perfect GPU for gamers wanting high framerates, amazing software support and detail levels at 1920×1080, the resolution of choice for over 60% of Steam users.
It’s out now around the world, with prices starting at $279 here in the United States. For purchase options, check out our Store, where you can see current prices and availability on Amazon, Newegg, and other sites.
Test and review: GeForce GTX 1660 Ti — Turing without RTX
03/02/2019 15:26 ? I’m looking at 1660 tests, the card is located between 580 and 590, so Vega 56 should be faster, and you are sure that 56 Vega always has a fully loaded chip. Games should be watched which are optimized for AMD cards. For example, a car if you fill it with the wrong fuel?

Seryozha Worworth, sometimes you need to compare games at the minimum wage, because these are drawdowns in the game. because this game twitches from its minimum value to the maximum house. I’m watching Batelfield 5, 56 Vega 10 frames faster. Vega 56 runs well from memory

AMD made good money from mining, believe me, we will see the fruits of that money a little later. For those whose fart does not burn, they will wait until the summer where Navi will be released at the 7th technical process. AMD has to sell off the old stock for you to understand. I would have waited anyway. Nvidia is not to be trusted. Until all the secrets of 1660 are revealed, it is not worth buying. For you will be beta testers.

Serezha Warworth you are like unfinished in life, you cry all the time that you are not enough all the time. I bought a Ryzen of the first series and did not cry, so many years have passed. We also took cards from AMD for mining, which you eat with your ass right now, so you wipe your eyes and ask your comrades there at least eat these cards with your ass.

Seryozha Worworth, look at the Zelenodolsk Mikron plant, where our chips are made. After all, even 10 years ago they cannot establish the process, even reach the frequencies that were then. And you cry all the time. Watch a video on the Internet what the engineers say. Even ours cannot do what it was 10 years ago on the same equipment. Do you want to go faster all the time? I would like to overpay. Do you have a lot of money in your life? I’m saving here. You only have time to get money in order to distribute it to everyone again and not see anything. From what x. will I overpay? Here tell me. I don’t even have time to play. How old are you and do you have time for games in your life? You can buy an APU and play at medium settings. And your overs there every year are the same morons.
Seryozha Worworth, you understand Huang is sick, he filled up the market with cards, there will be a crisis in this market. Nvidia stock is falling. Puts nvidia released new cards without even selling the old ones. Huang thinks the old cards will sell out at the behest of the pike, which is ridiculous.
Seryozha, do you remember the release of Ryzen, those who waited for a lot got it. Don’t mess with your intels.
I have almost the second Nvidia card in my computer, which I got for nothing. After the resale of iron. At work, after mining, we will all sell them for nothing for another year. You can get 9 cards for free without doing anything0049
Seryozha Worworth has a statue of a pissing boy who did not run to the toilet and you are always crying. I’ve been reading your reviews since release.
Tell Serezha what is the point of changing the awl for soap? Are you going to buy 1660 from you 1060? This choice was sewn on soap. That your relative 1060 has stopped dragging everything? So fast. Looking for suckers to sell?
I remember the old days, I bought cards every three years but with a 50% performance increase, but what do you take?
The tests say the card is no faster than 1070. This says a lot. That there is no point in buying, because I can get the tighter 1070 from mining soon so they will distribute it for free
For those grandmas that you can spend, you can buy an excellent music center with speakers, something else useful for the home, the same TV and not throw money in the trash, but buy the same smartphone.

Vasya, what are you smoking? Everything you attribute to me is drug addict nonsense! I never said anywhere that 1660 Ti is better than Vega 56 or that I am going to drink 1660 Ti. I already bought a Radeon VII, Huang’s bits didn’t hit me with a dick, I always drowned for Radeon and Ryzen. In general, merge, moron, and do not write to me anymore.

Vasya, what did you smoke? Everything you attribute to me is drug addict nonsense! I never said anywhere that 1660 Ti is better than Vega 56 or that I am going to drink 1660 Ti. If you were smart, you wouldn’t cry every time that AMD doesn’t release it. Think better with your head what to write. AMD still has not as many engineers as Intel, and everything has its time.
It is clear that we have market leaders, they pay for advertising. You are sitting on overs, this site, for your information, was bought with patrons, there is nothing honest there.
I’m not going to take Nvidia purely on principle, because I don’t like it when, for example, on the same YouTube you are simply banned so that you don’t write your opinion there. Serezha information is often for fools. Therefore, all the bad will be removed, leaving only all the good. Therefore, such shit as Nvidia was taken and will be taken. As one person at work bought from me, he is now catching friezes. He bought a 1060 and has a DPS LATENCY 9 problem0003
Some idiots from Nvidia fans write that AMD will die, it does not disappear anywhere, how they took AMD cards and will take their own fans
Sergey Worworth they drive you somewhere to buy cards? No, after all. Believe me, if you wish, you can wait half a year and a year and buy something better from AMD. I do. I don’t drive.
Why are you constantly moaning, summer will be presented sit and wait. You have something to play on, believe me, you don’t need anything, except to play tests with Nvidia and Intel fans, but they are created, as you know, for divorce. Do you want to be a fool? On your overs sit the same corrupt bloggers who are sent top cards. Your Oleg Dzhus always sits at the tops. Who sent them to him?
I know for 100% that the tops of most people have not fallen, so they will always advise taking AMD, there is something to choose from card socket plugs, then gaming ones.
Back to nvidia, I think they flooded the market with cards too much today, from their greed. They are not enough.

If you take the same Samsung, it does not behave like Intel and Nvidia, Intel and Nvidia are American companies. These two offices want to monopolize everything in the world, the American mentality
If you take Samsung, they release a lot of things, but they are not leaders anywhere in sales.
The new generation of nvidia is 10-15% faster than 1060 cards, already ridiculous. If you think about it, absolutely nothing has changed, and what will Nvidia think sales of video cards will grow? So people bought new cards of the 20th series, and what better picture did they have? If you take the number of frames by eye, then there is no improvement at all. Everything that is more than 60 frames is not visible to the eye, but what is visible is the flaws of Nvidia.
I do not understand you those who twitch between manufacturers choosing what is better, because they do it for your money. Many companies making your favorite products have died, the same firms Akai, quince
Intel and Nvidia do not behave very well in the market, paying for advertising. While Nvidia was selling cards, they did not release anything new, as sales fell, they began to sell new ones.
Look at many audio equipment there for 5 years without any changes. The same will happen in the iron market under a monopoly. As intel did, they didn’t even invent a new processor in 10 years. Turings won’t last long on the market I think. If AMD releases something better, then Nvidia will change everything even in a year, they have money so as not to lose their leadership
Why AMD is sometimes afraid to release something new, they are afraid that another company will release something better. A year to upgrade is fine.

Take Redbeard did he ever say about the shortcomings of nvidia cards? Never. He cannot be trusted.
How many times I watch tests, but none of the testers heard about the DPS LATENCY problem.
If these were cars, these cars would be asked to be recalled.
Nvidia hasn’t sold the old cards yet, but already preinstalled the new ones, put them on the sellers
Now the sellers will look for suckers on the old cards
In new games, the old cards already show themselves badly. But they show the old ones as a distraction.
Many people ask why there are no new games in the tests? Does anyone who buys a new card want to play the old games?
All your tests are hidden advertising and the card comes with the requirement to conduct this and that, and then you will get this and that and that
How many overs Phoenix has not been accused of corrupting tests, that he doesn’t even have cards for disassembly, there is no description of him, he just lays out charts from the bullshit and everyone believes it tests discuss

You will need an RTX 2070 Super graphics card to play on ultra.

Robert Bagratuni, the founder and director of the Mundfish studio, shared the full system requirements of Atomic Heart on a PC in a conversation with Wccftech. He stated that his team did a lot of testing before they approved the specifications.
To run Atomic Heart at minimum graphics settings at 30 fps and 1080p resolution, you need a PC with an Intel Core i5-2500 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200 processor, 8 GB of RAM and a GeForce GTX 960 or Radeon R9 380 graphics card.
To run the action in 4K resolution at «Ultra» graphics settings, you need a PC with an Intel Core i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600X processor, 16 GB of RAM and a GeForce RTX 3080 or Radeon RX 6800 XT graphics card. Thus, even at the maximum graphics preset, the game will not require 32 GB of RAM.
Bagratuni also said that Atomic Heart on PC will have a feature to precompile shaders before entering the game. However, if desired, players can skip this process to go straight to the walkthrough.
