ATI started Radeon HD 3850 AGP sales 3 January 2008. This is TeraScale architecture desktop card based on 55 nm manufacturing process and primarily aimed at office use. It has 512 MB of GDDR3 memory at 1.66 GHz, and coupled with a 256-bit interface, this creates a bandwidth of 52.99 Gb / s.

In terms of compatibility, this is a single-slot card connected via the AGP 8x interface. An additional 1x 8-pin power cable is required for connection, and the power consumption is 75W.
