Hijiri’s introduction: Everything is brighter, the yellow tint on the world is toned down to some degree, and the magazine and sign in the background now have legible text. The magazine’s proportions have also changed, suggesting that it might be an entirely new asset remade from scratch. More space available on the screen also allowed the dialogue to be displayed in one line instead of two.

The roof of the hospital: The sky has been changed drastically, with the dull grey sky of the original now having a bright blue tint making it look like a clear summer day. The texture on the building with the red sign, which had windows getting cut off at the top, has been corrected. The hospital’s sign has been completely redone.

The mysterious child: The scene is brighter, with details such as the buttons on the child’s coat a lot clearer. The change in lighting has also resulted in a shadow across the old lady’s chest not present in the original. The child’s eyes are also seem to look brighter.

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

The awakening of the Demi-Fiend: The background is brighter, resulting in some things that were visible in the original being not visible in HD Remaster – the portion preceding this with the Demi-Fiend’s silhouette also has the hospital bed no longer visible – and depth of field is noticeable on things in the background.

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

The first battle in the game: The environment is noticeably brighter, while the glow of the enemy itself is noticeably darker.

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

The mysterious old man: The scene is considerably brighter, improving visibility, and there are noticeably less shadows. The old man’s hair still clips through his jacket.

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

The player’s first ally, the Pixie: The scene is brighter, and the yellow tint has been toned down, while a blue sheen has been added to the glass in the background. Text is center-aligned, as opposed to left-aligned in the original.

Overall, it can be said that HD Remaster has greatly improved graphical fidelity, and visibility has been improved, allowing the player to see a lot of details that were hidden in the original version. On the other hand, the general atmosphere has been changed in many areas, making the game look brighter than the original; whether or not these changes are acceptable would be susceptible to one’s individual tastes.

720P, 1080P, 4K and 8K

The variety of screen resolutions can sometimes confuse users. Computers and mobile phones have their own screen resolution, as do TVs. You may have heard of 720P, 1080P, 4K, and 8K screen resolutions when you bought your TV. In today’s discussion, we’ll be focusing on these TV resolutions to help you familiarize yourself with your options.

This meditation screen resolution comparison The article will discuss what permission is and why it is important. Resolution is not just a technical specification that means you need to pay more attention when buying a TV. Now let’s start by defining permission in the next section.

Contents: Part 1: What is resolution?Part 2: Comparing screen resolutionsPart 2: Extra tip: Method for converting video to different resolutions and backPart 3: Completion

Part 1.

What is permission?

Simply put, resolution is defined as the number of pixels that make up an image. Higher resolution displays allow you to show finer details in your favorite TV shows, movies or games. While your TV’s resolution isn’t the only thing that affects picture quality, it’s just as important as other related aspects. Most people will notice the difference between low and high definition TVs.

Media resolution is an important factor in maximizing the viewing experience. Although modern scaling technologies have greatly improved, your TV display will only be at its best if the content being displayed is of the same resolution.

Although higher resolution screens show finer details of your content, they can only show the information you give them. We will talk about the details of comparing permissions in the next part.

Part 2: Comparing screen resolutions

How do you compare resolutions? In this section, we will compare the screen resolutions of 720P, 1080P, 4K and 8K. If you want to get the most out of your viewing experience, you should familiarize yourself with the differences between these 4 screen resolutions.

Resolution comparison: 720P (1280 x 720) vs. 1080P (1920 x 1080)

A 720P TV has pixels that consist of 720 rows and 1,280 columns, hence «720P». So he has 9 in total.21,600 720 pixels. 1,366P is the lowest resolution you can call high definition (HD). Some TVs have a native pixel resolution of 768 x 720, but sellers still advertise them as 768p.

On the other hand, 1080P has a screen resolution of 1080 lines and 1,920 columns. Thus, it shows a clearer picture compared to 720P TVs. It can give you a smooth and highly detailed look to HD images.

The most notable difference between 720P and 1080P is how many pixels each image is at those resolutions. While you will still find 720P TVs nowadays, their availability is dropping dramatically due to the introduction of 1080P TVs on the market.

Resolution comparison: 1080P (1920 x 1080) VS 4K / 2160P (3840 x 2160)

4K or Ultra HD (UHD) has a screen resolution of 2,160 lines and 3,480 columns. When we say 4K, we usually mean the latest and most advanced TV screen resolution. These TVs have a more detailed picture compared to 1080P TVs.

In addition, 4K TVs also have huge screen resolutions and you can find them on premium PCs and TV monitors. 2160P TVs are called 4K TVs because they are almost 4,000 pixels wide. Plus, they offer 4 times more pixels than 1080P (FHD/Full HD) TVs.

Again, more pixels do not necessarily mean better image quality. Image quality can be affected by other factors such as color and contrast. So if you’re aiming for a better viewing experience, great 4K TVs are the best choice because they have twice the horizontal and vertical range of 1080P TVs.

Higher resolution images usually mean they have more pixels for better and sharper quality. The visual difference between viewing on a 1080P TV and a 4K TV can be significant and easily noticeable when you have a large TV screen or if you are away from the TV.

Resolution comparison: 4K / 2160P (3840 x 2160) VS 8K / 4320P (7680 x 4320)

As the name suggests, 4K TVs are Ultra HD TVs with a resolution of 3,480 x 2,160 pixels. 4K TVs can let you view a sharper and clearer picture. It’s no surprise that most moviegoers prefer 4K TVs. 4K allows you to reformat an image, as well as enlarge it without losing quality.

On the other hand, 8K TVs have 4,320 rows and 7,680 columns. They are called 8K because they are made up of pixels that are 16 times larger than conventional 1080P Full HD (FHD) TVs. You can only find 8K resolution on expensive LG and Samsung TVs.

Sharp introduced the very first 8K TV back in 2012. However, even now you rarely see 8K TVs. The biggest problem with 8K TVs today is that you can hardly find resources for them — there is no software and hardware support.

To get the best results from 8K TVs, some technologies need to be developed, such as the following:

  • 8K High Capacity Blu-ray Discs
  • A video encoding format that can support 8K content and increase compression.
  • DP / HDMI cable and interface supporting widescreen HDR color and 8K resolution
  • Support for native devices such as players, set-top boxes, PCs and game consoles for 8K content

Therefore, buying an 8K TV is not recommended because it will be useless. In fact, 1080P TVs are more than enough to meet your requirements. But if you’re more into the visual experience than the price of the TV, you might want to opt for 4K TVs instead. There is also what we call a 1440P resolution of 1,440 rows and 1,560 columns of pixels. These are commonly referred to as Quad HD or QHD resolutions. They are typical of high-end mobile phones and gaming monitors.

1440P resolution has 4 times more pixels than 720P HD Ready or HD TV. Even more confusing, there are plenty of premium smartphones out there with 2960 x 1440 Quad HD+ resolution. But they are still suitable for 1440p.

TV Resolution General Comparison Below is a table that summarizes the specifications of 720P, 1080P, 4K and 8K resolutions.
