Ergonomics
Pulsefire Core is not the first symmetrical mouse from HyperX, but the first in this line. The mouse is slightly different in its ergonomics from another symmetrical model — Surge. If the Surge had straighter lines, then the Core got a more ergonomic body. The difference lies in the hollows of the main keys and noticeably more pronounced sidewall bends. Thanks to them, the hand better wraps around the mouse, which fits into it like a glove. With all this, the weight of the mouse is 87 grams, and the weight distribution is very good, there are no overweights in any direction. nine0003
The mouse is equipped with 7 buttons: a pair of main buttons, a scroll wheel, two buttons for switching the sensor resolution and a pair of navigation buttons on the side. By the way, in terms of the number of buttons, this is, so far, the most equipped HyperX mouse, because all the others have 6. The click of the main keys is short, hard and loud. The same applies to the main keys. The wheel is very quiet.
Equipment
The Pulsefire Core has a PixArt PMW3327 sensor with a maximum resolution of 6200 dpi. The minimum resolution of the sensor is 200 dpi and increases in increments of 100 dpi. Of course, this is far from a flagship sensor, but it does its job well. There were no complaints about the sensor when working both at 800 dpi, and at 2400, and at 3200 together with the HyperX fabric mat. There is no tracking acceleration. nine0003
There are no additional options for adjusting the sensor, only resolution adjustment. The sensor can track mouse movements at accelerations up to 30G, and the maximum surface tracking speed is up to 220 inches per second. To connect to a PC, a USB cable in a fabric braid is used. It is not the softest, but light and quite slippery to the touch.
Pulsefire Core functionality
The HyperX NGenuity utility is used to configure the mouse. In it, you can control the RGB lighting.
