Lian Li launches the all new PC-B10 Mid-Tower Chassis

24 March 2009, Keelung, Taiwan – Lian-Li Industrial Co. Ltd has launched the PC-B10 Mid Tower chassis. The all aluminum design features two fans on the front (1x 140mm@900RPM + 1x 120mm@1500RPM) and one rear 120mm@1000RPM extraction fan. The sleek brushed aluminum chassis has a front door with lock which gives access to 5x 5.25” bays for ODD’s. The fans have removable filters which are easily removed and washable. The dimensions stand at 210x440x515mm ( W, H, D). The unique Power supply bracket allows the PSU to be secured using only the tool-less designed clasp ideal to hold the PSU securely. The side panels have foam padding to make sure that noisy components are completely silenced. The chassis is imbued with all the functional and user friendly design aspects users have come to expect in a Lian Li case.

Thermal features
Lian Li engineers have optimized the airflow to enter from the front mounted fans, directly cooling the HDD’s and ODD’s and thereafter refreshing the CPU region. The hot air generated by the CPU and GPU is directly extracted via the rear 120mm Fan. The volume of airflow is sufficient to keep your rig cool and conveniently silent.

Special features
The chassis supports 5x 5.25” Optical drive bays with one optional 1x 3.5” external and 4 additional internal 3.5” bays for HDD’s in an anti-vibration cage. The HDD cage is accessible from the left side panel, and each HDD is mounted with anti-vibration grommets to reduce noise from HDD vibrations. The PC-B10 case is for Micro-ATX or ATX motherboards and has 7 PCI slots, which are well ventilated with special vented brackets. The top panel is removable with the multimedia I/O ports on the top panel consisting of 2x USB2. 0, 1x IEEE1394, as well as HD+AC97 Audio. The PSU has an adjustable bracket for extra long PSU’s.

The mesh panels on both sides of the power supply shroud can be removed for cleaning when the front panel is not attached.

Multi-sided Front Fan/Radiator Bracket

Multi-sided Front Fan Bracket offers 4 different ways to mount the radiator or fans to meet different cooling needs, and features a new latch/knob mechanism that allows you to easily lock it in place without using it fixing screws with knurled head.

Two thumbscrews (one front, one left) are used to ensure transport safety.

Removable top fan bracket

Removable fan top bracket with offset fan mounting points allows a thicker fan and heatsink to be mounted on top of the LANCOOL III while providing sufficient clearance from the stem.

  2. Do not use a screw other than the 6#32 long screw (supplied).
  3. Point the side of the radiator tube towards the rear of the chassis.
  4. Remove the rear 140mm fan to install the heatsink.

Note. When installing a 420mm radiator from the front 1. Install the fan bracket in scenario 1 (the bracket is facing out) 2. Do not remove the front bracket during installation 3. Install the radiator on the inside of the bracket 4. Install the fan towards the front side

Modular PSU Shroud Bracket — Fan/Pump/SSD

Adjustable Modular PSU Shroud accepts 1 x 360mm radiator, 3 x 120mm fans, 3 x 2.5″ SSD, or pump/reservoir combination.

Fore/aft adjustment for 360 degree heatsink placement.
Note. When installing a heatsink or fans, make sure the fins are removed for better cooling.

Mounting points for 3 x 2.5-inch SSDs included.

Additional attachment points for the pump/reservoir combination are provided.

Side multi-purpose mounting slots

The mounting slots next to the motherboard are 105mm apart (standard 120mm fan mounting points) to allow mounting of a distribution plate or tank/pump bracket.

HIGH CAPACITY STORAGE

Supports multiple storage locations for 12 x 2.5″ SSD or 4 x 3.5″ HDD and 8 x 2.5″ SSD.
