    Clock speed

    0003

    1127MHz

    1227MHz

The graphics processing unit (GPU) has a higher clock speed.

    turbo GPU

    1178MHz

    1468MHz

When the GPU is running below its limits, it can jump to a higher clock speed to increase performance.

    pixel rate

    36.1 GPixel/s

    23.49 GPixel/s

The number of pixels that can be displayed on the screen every second. nine0003

    FLOPS

    2.31 TFLOPS

    1.13 TFLOPS

FLOPS is a measure of GPU processing power.

    texture size

    72. 1 GTexels/s

    46.98 GTexels/s

Number of textured pixels that can be displayed on the screen every second.

    GPU memory speed

    1753MHz

    1502MHz

Memory speed is one aspect that determines memory bandwidth. nine0003

    Shading patterns

Shading units (or stream processors) are small processors in a graphics card that are responsible for processing various aspects of an image.

    texture units (TMUs)

TMUs take texture units and map them to the geometric layout of the 3D scene. More TMUs generally means texture information is processed faster.

    ROPs

ROPs are responsible for some of the final steps of the rendering process, such as writing the final pixel data to memory and for performing other tasks such as anti-aliasing to improve the appearance of graphics. nine0003

    Memory

    effective memory speed

    7012MHz

    6008MHz

The effective memory clock is calculated from the size and data transfer rate of the memory. A higher clock speed can give better performance in games and other applications.

    maximum memory bandwidth

    112.2GB/s

    48.06GB/s

This is the maximum rate at which data can be read from or stored in memory. nine0003

VRAM (video RAM) is the dedicated memory of the graphics card. More VRAM usually allows you to run games at higher settings, especially for things like texture resolution.

    memory bus width

    128bit

A wider memory bus means it can carry more data per cycle. This is an important factor in memory performance, and therefore the overall performance of the graphics card.

    versions of GDDR memory

Later versions of GDDR memory offer improvements such as higher data transfer rates, which improve performance. nine0003

    Supports memory debug code

    ✖MSI GeForce GTX 960

    ✖Nvidia GeForce MX150

Memory debug code can detect and fix data corruption. It is used when necessary to avoid distortion, such as in scientific computing or when starting a server.

    Features

    DirectX version

DirectX is used in games with a new version that supports better graphics.

    OpenGL version

The newer version of OpenGL, the better graphics quality in games.

    version of OpenCL

Some applications use OpenCL to use the power of the graphics processing unit (GPU) for non-graphical computing. Newer versions are more functional and better quality.

    Supports multi-monitor technology

    ✔MSI GeForce GTX 960

    ✖Nvidia GeForce MX150

The graphics card has the ability to connect multiple displays. This allows you to set up multiple monitors at the same time to create a more immersive gaming experience, such as a wider field of view. nine0003

    GPU temperature at boot

Unknown. Help us offer a price. (Nvidia GeForce MX150)

Lower boot temperature means the card generates less heat and the cooling system works better.

    supports ray tracing

    ✖MSI GeForce GTX 960

    ✖Nvidia GeForce MX150

Ray tracing is an advanced light rendering technique that provides more realistic lighting, shadows and reflections in games. nine0003

    Supports 3D

    ✔MSI GeForce GTX 960

    ✖Nvidia GeForce MX150

Allows you to view in 3D (if you have a 3D screen and glasses).

    supports DLSS

    ✖MSI GeForce GTX 960

    ✖Nvidia GeForce MX150

DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) is an AI based scaling technology. This allows the graphics card to render games at lower resolutions and upscale them to higher resolutions with near-native visual quality and improved performance. DLSS is only available in some games. nine0003

GeForce MX150 | Review and testing of video cards NVIDIA

The video card for laptops NVIDIA GeForce MX150 was announced by the manufacturer in the second half of May 2017. This model is a representative of the junior class of mobile graphics adapters. It is based on the graphics core codenamed GP108 Pascal architectures. This video chip is manufactured using 14nm technology and is endowed with 384 CUDA cores.

The processor operates at clock frequencies from 1468 to 1532 MHz in Boost mode. The amount of video memory is 2 GB of GDDR5 standard, and the memory bus has a 64-bit capacity. In fact, we see an analogue of the GeForce GT 1030 video card for desktop computers, only with increased clock speeds. The GeForce MX150 has support for Optimus, GeForce Experience, GameWorks, Vulkan API, and DirectX 12_1 API technologies. No support for GameStream, ShadowPlay, Battery Boost. nine0003

Officially, the GeForce MX150 video adapter is presented as the successor to the GeForce 940MX mobile video card based on the previous generation Maxwell architecture. Low-end models are not considered as full-fledged video cards for games. They are intended for those who use a laptop, primarily for office and multimedia tasks. As for “light” toys like Dota 2, FIFA, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, World of Tanks, with a FullHD screen resolution, the power of the new GPU will be enough. But playing demanding gaming novelties of 2020-2021, such as Cyberpunk 2077 or RDR 2, will be very problematic even at the lowest settings. Below you can see the results of some gaming tests. nine0003
