Job Summary: The General Warehouse Support II position is responsible for all duties listed in the General Warehouse Support I Job Description and includes receiving and putaway and small parcel shipping

Essential Job Functions:

1. Unloads inbound shipments, checks inbound materials in, receives material into the prelude system, labels, and puts away materials with a barcode scanner

2. Manages the reporting of scrap cable

3. Identifies small parcel, full truckload, less than truckload, heavy weight air, will call/customer pickup orders and routes them to the appropriate shipping area.

4. Processes packages via the small parcel shipping terminal

5. Additional job duties can be added at anytime

6. utilize forklift to stage pallets and pull orders

Knowledge, Skill and Experience Required:

1. The General Warehouse Support II to be able to lift up to 50lbs.

2. The General Warehouse Support II must be able to stand for long periods of time and be able to bend and reach overhead

3. The General Warehouse Support II must be able to work under deadline pressure as organization skills are the key to finding and providing merchandise quickly and accurately for customer orders.

4. Experience using a hand held scanner

5. Minimum Education (or substitute experience) required: High School Diploma or equivalent.

6. Minimum Experience required: 1 year warehouse experience.

7. Ability to read and write in English. Basic math skills.

8. Experience in using sit and stand up forklift (certification a plus)
