Introducing the V3 Gaming PC AvengerApplication and Futuremark PerformanceGaming PerformanceBuild, Heat, and Power ConsumptionConclusion: Odd Expectations

Build, Heat, and Power Consumption

A good boutique build really does start at the enclosure. While the NZXT cases most commonly used by boutiques aren’t necessarily terrible, there’s still something left to be desired when better options are available. Corsair as a brand seems to be picking up popularity with boutiques, though, and while it’s probably a bit more expensive for all involved, their cases are generally a step up.

Boutique builds are usually very clean, but a case like the Carbide 500R can make it that much easier to both build and service the system. Unfortunately the beefy Asetek radiator winds up mucking things up a bit; while it gets the job done (which you’ll see in a bit), it also effectively blocks the end user from two empty RAM slots, making building up the system more difficult.

V3 does a decent job of keeping cable clutter to a minimum too, but by employing a non-modular power supply they’re forced to stash the excess cables under the drive trays. The TX750 V2 is an excellent power supply, but a modular 80 Plus Gold unit might have been a nice touch (though it would’ve driven the cost up).

Finally, I do like the nice bit of branding that V3 does with the enclosure. The V3 logos on the front and the sides help to give the system more identity and make it feel a bit like less of an off-the-shelf assembly of hardware.

As it turns out, though, cooling isn’t much of an issue for the Avenger, despite the high core voltage. We already knew the GTX 680 was an efficient piece of kit, but the i7-3820 is actually fairly frugal as well in terms of both heat and power. The Avenger remains relatively quiet even under load, making it an excellent choice for a workstation.

I’ll admit I was concerned about power consumption with the Avenger. The MSI motherboard employed doesn’t allow for setting an offset voltage, but the i7-3820 seems to be idling just fine. Load consumption is excellent as well given the high overclock on the processor. It’s not the most frugal system in the world, but V3’s build isn’t aggressively sucking power out of the wall under stress either.

Introduction, Specifications, Pricing and Availability

Introduction

Lomita, California-based V3 Gaming is a new boutique builder on the block. Founded in 2010 by a team of industry veterans (some of whom worked at now-defunct boutique Vigor PC), the company focuses on high-performance machines for the enthusiast market using the latest and greatest hardware available.

For this review, V3 set us up with the Avenger; a full-on 3D capable machine running a trio of ZOTAC GTX 480s and using NVIDIA’s 3D Vision system.

Let’s strap on the goggles and get gaming!

Specifications, Pricing and Availability

Here’s the Avenger’s specs:

V3 sells all its systems through the company website, v3gaming. com. As configured, the Avenger goes for $3,599USD, including ground shipping in the US.

For 3D gaming, you’ll need a compatible monitor and an NVIDIA 3D Vision Kit, which are available through V3 Gaming, but not included in the price of the Avenger.

V3 includes a three-year warranty for parts and lifetime labor and technical support.

Packaging, Internals and Set-Up

Packaging

The Avenger rolled into town in a plain brown system box.

Underneath the top flap, we find a glimpse of the foam brackets that cushion the system during transit, as well as the MSI motherboard packaging, which has been repurposed as the accessories box.

As we dig deeper, we see that V3 has also reused the Antec «Twelve Hundred» chassis packaging for the inner box.

Freed from its cardboard and foam prison, we get our first look at the Avenger. Using a combination of matte and glossy textures along with a clear window, gives the system a sleek, monochromatic appearance.

V3 has applied vinyl logo decals on both sides of the chassis to spruce it up a bit.

The full ATX chassis has plenty of room inside and no shortage of fans, including the large 200mm one on top.

The Blu-ray drive occupies the uppermost optical bay. Just above that we have the front I/O, which consists of two USB 2.0 ports, an eSATA port, and mic & headphone jacks.

Rear I/O consists of PS/2 keyboard and mouse inputs, optical and coaxial S/PDIF outs, 2xUSB2.0, 2xSATA, FireWire, 2xUSB3.0, Ethernet, and multi-channel analog audio outs. Each of the three GPUs have DVI and HDMI outs.

Internals

Inside we see the Asetek liquid CPU cooler and radiator, as well as the three ZOTAC GTX 480 GPUs stacked on top of one another. Even with four physical hard drives installed, there’s still room for more. The components are all hooked up with a nice, tidy wiring job — something we definitely expect to see in a system from a boutique builder.

Documentation & Accessories

The accessories box contained a few cables and the manuals for several of the internal components.

A black binder contained a ZOTAC driver disc and a disc of DirectX 11 and CUDA technology demos, as well as an invoice and Steam download coupons for Mafia II and Napoleon: Total War.

For this review, V3 and ASUS provided us with a very nice ASUS VG236 23-inch 120MHz 3D-ready LCD monitor and an nVIDIA 3D Vision Kit.

The 3D Vision kit includes the rechargeable glasses, two USB cables, transmitter, documentation, and two extra nosepieces for the glasses.

General Hands-On Usage and Performance

General Hands-On Usage

Here’s a CPU-Z screenshot showing some detailed specs of what’s running under the V3 Avenger’s hood:

And here’s a GPU-Z screenshot showing the status for the graphics card.

With three GTX 480s in SLI, we definitely consider the Avenger a high-end system. Everyday computing tasks also proved pleasurable with this system. With not only a solid-state drive (SSD) for the operating system, but two SSDs in RAID 0, the Avenger makes Windows 7 feel lightning-fast. Programs opened and closed quite quickly, and our benchmarks reflected this supped up performance as well.

The overclocked i7 930 processor kept up with demand and did not experience any stability issues. A 40% overclock is no small feat, and V3 proved its tweaking mettle in this regard.

These configuration tweaks (the RAID-configured SSDs and OC’d CPU) provide a great deal of added value for the customer, and this «getting the most performance bang for the hardware buck» philosophy is one of the niches where boutique builders separate themselves from the mass-production outfits.

The Avenger comes with CyberLink’s PowerDVD 9 installed, which is also 3D capable. We did not have one of the (rather limited) 3D Blu-ray titles available, but we did watch some 2D Blu-ray footage, which looked great on the 23″ 120Hz capable ASUS monitor.

Boot Time

In a system built for speed such as the V3 Avenger, it should come as no surprise that it delivered a boot time of only 38 seconds.

Power Consumption

The Avenger consumes 302 watts of power at idle, hopping up to 605 watts under load.

Audio Performance

We ran this custom rig through the standard media encoding test regime here at TweakTown, which includes music and video transcoding.

All systems are tested «as is», which means operating systems and drivers can and do vary and some come pre-installed with applications that may or may not affect performance.

Any anti-virus or security applications are disabled and uninstalled before any testing is started, as they can affect test numbers.

For the iTunes encoding test we took the White Stripes — Under Great White Northern Lights album in MP3 format and encode it to AAC format using iTunes and time the results with a stopwatch.

The Avenger completed this task in 55 seconds.

Video Performance

For the movie-encoding test, we took the Microsoft Magic of Flight VC-1 WMV (1080p HD) video with six-channel audio and transcode it to XviD (1080p HD) with LAME MP3 two-channel audio and an MP4 container using MediaCoder 0. 7.3.4616 32-bit edition.

The V3 took 67 seconds to complete this task.

Developed by some folks from the University of Tokyo, Super PI is a small utility that does just as the name implies. It figures PI to a set number of decimal places. Since PI is an infinite number to the right of the decimal point, the utility measures the time it takes to figure a set number of places. It runs the calculations a set number of times and gives a time for the completion of the task. This is a simple and effective way to measure the raw number crunching power of the processor being used to compile the results.

The Avenger calculated pi out to the 1 millionth digit in 10.1 seconds.

3DMark Vantage is the new industry standard PC gaming performance benchmark from Futuremark, newly designed for Windows Vista and DirectX10. It includes two new graphics tests, two new CPU tests, several new feature tests, and support for the latest hardware.

Unfortunately, we were never able to get a 3DMark Vantage score for the V3 Avenger. 3DMark would spit out an error message just as the first sequence was about to run.

We did some troubleshooting on Futuremark’s website to no avail. We also did a clean reinstall of the ForceWare drivers (V3 had already shipped the system with the most recent 260.99 drivers). We then turned to V3 for assistance. A representative from V3 confirmed the system had been tested with 3DMark Vantage prior to shipping and had not experienced any issues.

V3 walked us through some additional troubleshooting to rule out hardware issues. Since we weren’t experiencing any crashes or artifacting during actual gaming, we decided to just forego this test and blame it on the gremlins.

Gaming Performance

TweakTown strives to provide our readers with a reasonable expectation of what they can expect in terms of real-world performance in our gaming tests. Instead of testing all systems and titles at, say, 1280×768 with 4xAA and comparing framerates, we determine a particular system’s maximum playable settings and report those settings along with the resultant framerates. Even though this makes direct comparison between systems a bit more difficult, we feel it best reflects how the typical gamer uses a system. Most players aren’t interested in getting framerates in the 100s at 1280×768 if the title is still playable at 1680×1050.

Let’s talk a little bit about 3D Stereoscopic gaming. 3D Stereoscopic gaming works by rendering two separate, slightly offset layers of the same image on a compatible monitor. With NVIDIA’s system, the player wears a set of glasses that has a shutter in each lens. The shutters are synchronized with the computer via a small transmitter connected to the PC by USB. Each shutter rapidly opens and closes a set amount of times per second, allowing one layer of the rendered image to pass to one eye and then, a split-second later, allows the other layer of the image to the other eye.

These cycles happen faster than the human eye can register them (a phenomenon known as «persistence of vision»), which creates the illusion of motion. Each eye sees one layer of the image from a slightly different angle than the other eye (a phenomenon known as «parallax»). When done correctly, the human brain combines the two sets, creating the illusion of three dimensions.

As a result, for the most realistic 3D effect, these cycles have to happen at a precise rate (usually, 30, 60, or 120 cycles per second, or Hertz [Hz]). Therefore, when gaming in 3D mode, the GPUs attempt to keep the framerates as close to one of these rates as possible.

So, for the purposes of this review, we measured both framerates in 3D mode as well as framerates in regular gaming mode. This gives a more accurate summation of the system’s stereoscopic performance, while still allowing us to compare the Avenger’s performance to other, non-3D capable, systems.

When launching a 3D title, the system displays a text overlay describing which settings should be reduced, increased, or turned off completely for optimal 3D image quality. We’ve noted those settings below, when applicable.

Batman: Arkham Asylum

Using Arkham Asylum’s built-in benchmarking tool (included in Patch 1.1), we achieved maximum playable settings at 1920×1080 with 16xAA and «Very High» performance settings.

Frame rates in regular mode were as follows: 190 max, 81 min, with an average of 137.

In stereoscopic mode, with Motion Blur turned off as advised, the Avenger delivered a max of 60, with a low of 47, and an average of 57.

Of all our test titles, Batman: Arkham Asylum probably looked the best in 3D. It gave us the most convincing and immersive sense of depth of the games we tested. The Joker also looked quite cool in all his lanky weirdness rendered in 3D.

Far Cry 2

We ran Far Cry 2 with all the settings maxed out at 1920×1080, 8xAA, and Ultra High detail level.

It averaged 170 fps, with a high of 363 and a low of 101 in normal gaming mode.

For the 3D experience, we turned off Bloom lighting and knocked FX Post-Processing and Shadows down from «Ultra High» to «High.» This got us an average fps of 59, with a min/max of 55 and 62, respectively.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2

At 1920×1080, the Avenger delivered an average of 85 fps, with a maximum of 111 and a minimum of 58.

In 3D mode (this title didn’t require any changes to the settings), the Avenger delivered an average of 50 fps, with a maximum of 63 and a low of 32.

This title was also quite enjoyable to play in 3D, although the new sense of depth was sometimes a bit jarring. For instance, zooming your rifle sight (right mouse button) made the rifle look super long — so long that the end of the barrel (and front sight) was somewhat blurry.

BioShock

The system cranked out an average of 438, with a max of 727 and min of 257 at 1920×1080 and Very High detail level.

In 3D mode, it delivered an average of 29, with a max of 42 and min of 21. In addition to these low framerates, the recommendation to disable Shadow Maps, High Detail Post-Processing, and Distortion noticeably affected image quality. It looked better and was far more enjoyable to play in non-3D mode.

For an in-depth discussion of what an overclocked GTX 480 can do, see here.

Final Thoughts

In addition to supplying a very fun and immersive stereoscopic 3D gaming experience, the Avenger from V3 Gaming proved to be quite a performance powerhouse. Although we were never able to get a 3DMark Vantage score on it, the other benchmarks show that the Avenger performs well towards the head of the class, especially in regular gaming mode.

V3 gives us the type of machine we expect from a quality boutique shop, including value-adding tweaks such as significant, stable processor overclocking and RAID 0 hard drive performance. The build quality is rock solid and, as we learned during the review process, the guys at V3 are very easy to get a hold of and a pleasure to deal with. Had we absolutely needed to get 3DMark Vantage running on this system, we’re quite confident V3 would have resolved the issue for us.

Even if you’re not yet in the market for a 3D system, V3 offers a wide range of systems at reasonable prices and will work with you to configure a system that meets your needs both now and in the future. The Avenger is a great system that we don’t hesitate to recommend.

Game World — Game Guide — Diablo III

Sanctuary is an ever-changing game world that will never be the same twice. A significant part of it, with the exception of special places like settlements and cities, is created randomly each time. Elements of the world, like pieces of a puzzle, add up to labyrinths, dungeons and forests — new for each playthrough and for each player.

Every time you start a new game or load an existing character, the game world will change. New monsters will roam the wild forests, treasure chests will be arranged differently, and their contents will be different. Moreover, even the boundaries of the zones themselves can change. Cave entrances and ruins will change location, monsters will begin to roam the previously safe paths, and even quest targets will be able to move to another place!

Your allies will gather at the camp.

Not the whole world is subject to change. Certain places — camps and cities — will remain the same as they were last time. There you will find merchants who are ready to make deals and repair equipment. Your companions and other key characters will also gather there. Choose anyone if you want to start a conversation with him, ask for advice or just listen to his life story.

Use the Wandering Gate to travel fast.

You will also come across magical emblems carved into the ground. Similar emblems will come across to you everywhere. This is Wandering Gate — magical teleport circles scattered around the world. With their help, you can travel to different places of Sanctuary. Having opened new gates of wanderings, you will be able to transfer with their help to any other zone you already know. In adventure mode, all quest gates are already open at the start of the game.

If you select a quest gate, a map will appear showing all the gates you have found. In campaign mode, the gate closest to the objective of the current quest will be highlighted: that’s where you need to move to advance the story.

Tasks are marked with an exclamation mark.

missions in the game are built around the storyline of Diablo III. It is they who will lead you to victory over the lords of the Underworld.

A full description of any quest, including its objectives and their location, can be found in the quest log (on PC press «J», on console press «BACK» or «SELECT» and select «Quests» from the menu). Also, in the hero’s diary, everything related to your adventures is noted — descriptions of the monsters you met, texts of books and manuscripts, and so on.

Doing tasks is the way to success.

Rewards for completing tasks are given: gold, experience and items. Some tasks have additional goals — it is not necessary to achieve them, but you will definitely be rewarded for them, for example, with experience points and gold.

Very often your closest allies will give you quests. But from time to time you will notice that the world itself offers a path to follow, an enemy to destroy, and other … possibilities.

If you want to replay the game’s campaign, you can use the «Reset Quests» feature in the game’s settings menu (in the PC version). You will return to Act I, your progress and the list of open gates of wandering will be reset to zero, and you will receive additional rewards for completing tasks.

Thanks to this feature, characters who reach level 60 (or higher) are guaranteed to receive a legendary item after completing the last story quest.

You will always be caught off guard.

Wandering around Sanctuary, you will witness events , during which you will be given mini-quests. When a special event starts, its name and completion conditions will appear on the screen.

Events can be demonic rituals, enemy ambushes, caves with hungry captives, and more. They will greatly diversify your journey in Diablo III. They offer various rewards and various enemies, while they themselves change from passage to passage.

Most events can also bring additional treasures.

Unique monsters have appeared in Sanctuary. By destroying such creatures, you will receive special keys that will help you get into the secret corner of the Underworld. Rumor has it that in such small nooks and crannies you can find several terrible creatures of the Underworld at once. If you manage to get into the lair and defeat the monsters, then you will be able to get the parts of the bodies of defeated monsters soaked with filth — dead organs that will be useful for making legendary items of incredible power.

An ancient evil lurks in the ruins of Old Tristram. In this abandoned place, a mysterious portal has opened that leads to the familiar cathedral. In the depths of the catacombs, the Lord of Terror awaits a meeting with desperate heroes who dare to challenge him.

Every January you can experience the atmosphere of the very first game in the Diablo series. From familiar enemies to iconic items, we’ve recreated everything in Diablo III. Heroes who dare to fight the darkness of those ancient times will be rewarded with transmog items, achievements, and a host of other surprises. You may have forgotten what lurks in the depths of this disastrous dungeon…

To participate in the event, start the game in adventure mode. The Fall of Tristram event takes place in Act I, next to the Tristram Ruins quest gate. When the event is active, these gates are marked on the map with a red pentagram. At this time, in the Ruins of Tristram, you can find a portal that will take you to another era. Defeat evil in the dungeons of the cathedral and get a unique legendary gem as a reward. But remember: fate was not too favorable to the last daredevil who tried to defeat the Lord of Terror.

Save locations will often be related to exploring new zones or completing mission objectives.

Diablo III’s random world generation will not only make players want to replay the game, but also make each playthrough and progress save unique in its own way.

You don’t have to manually save the game to continue it from the same place. The state of the game (including accumulated experience, collected trophies and completed tasks) will be automatically saved in certain places as you progress through and before exiting the game through the game menu. It is very important to exit the game manually, and not just turn off the computer or console — then your progress will be saved.

If you exit the game in the middle of a dungeon or wild forest, you won’t respawn in the same place when loading. Instead, you will be transported to the nearest quest gate or to a «safe» place — usually the nearest city or camp. To return to the place of the last battle, you can go there by the already known path or use the gates of wanderings. By opening these or those gates of wandering, you can move through them many times. That is why they are very important for passing the game.

You are free to explore the world of the game as much as you wish, but you must be careful and do not forget about the gates of wanderings.

When entering a new play area, you will see an incomplete, darkened map. As you explore the lands, the map will begin to appear.

The map displays quests, allies, quest gates, dungeons, and other places of interest. The map appears as you explore the area.

If you get lost, you can always open the map (on PC press «M» or «Tab», on the console — D-Pad down) to see the map of the area. Areas that you have not yet reached will be hidden on the map until you enter them. If you see a pulsing circle on the map, it’s a good idea to head towards it, as it shows the location of the nearest quest target and the direction to it.

On the PC in the upper right corner of the screen there is a small copy of the map — minimap . It helps to quickly navigate in the immediate environment.

Many monsters in Sanctuary want you to die. And each of them wants to kill you with his own special method — someone will spit acid at you, someone will send small hurricanes from afar, someone will try to throw you away and tear you apart before you have time to come to your senses.

Do not spare the demons that stand in your way!

In addition to the «regular» monsters that can be found everywhere, you will also have to face special monsters.

    • Elite Monsters — The names of these monsters are written in blue. They travel in the company of ordinary monsters, but they are much stronger than them. They have more health, they deal more damage and have special abilities, which are reflected in affixes . For example, with these abilities, elite monsters can teleport to dodge your attacks, or attack with lightning in response to damage received.

    • Rare Monsters — The names of these monsters are written in yellow. Their health pool is much higher than that of normal monsters of their kind. Their name also has a special affix. Such monsters are usually accompanied by a retinue of 3-4 minions with similar abilities.

    • Unique Monsters — The names of these monsters are written in purple. The power of unique monsters is truly great — they have even more health, they deal even more damage, and often have several additional abilities.

Elite, rare and unique monsters provide loot commensurate with their impressive power: you will get bigger health orbs, you will get more gold and more items of better quality.

In certain places you will encounter truly terrible bosses are huge and especially dangerous, they stand out from the rest. Fighting them, you will have to sweat. And if you manage to win, then you will receive an incredible reward.

Below you will find a list of monster affixes that you may encounter in Diablo III.

    • You can understand what the main features of monsters are from the text under the name of the attacker.
    • The more powerful your character becomes, the stronger the monsters you will encounter will be.
    • The highest level enemies can have up to 4 properties at the same time. Be alert!
    • Arcane Adept:
They cast spinning beams of magical energy that cause significant damage to those who fall under them.
    • Petrel:
Monsters with this property are able to strike enemies with electric discharges at a distance.
    • Quick:
Such monsters move faster and have an increased attack speed compared to the rest. They will easily catch up with you if you are injured, or quickly disappear from the battlefield.
    • Vampire:
These monsters drain your life force. When they deal damage, they heal themselves for a certain amount of health.
    • Whirlwind:
These monsters can use a spell that interrupts your attacks and draws you dangerously close.
    • Builds walls:
Monsters with this affix erect walls that either trap you, preventing you from leaving, or block your path to the caster. After a few seconds, the created walls disappear.
    • Instills fear:
This monster can cause a loss of control over the hero: within a few seconds, he will run away in a panic.
    • Frozen:
Leaves exploding ice crystals in the air. Explosions not only deal cold damage, but also slow and freeze heroes caught in the area.
    • Poisoned:
Poison-infected monsters create poisonous droplets that radiate out from them in a cross-shaped path, leaving a trail of damage.
    • Illusionist:
Illusionists create duplicates of themselves that deal damage and prevent you from recognizing your true target.
    • Thrower:
Throwing monsters pelt enemies with fireballs that deal significant ranged damage. To avoid it, stay as close to the attackers as possible.
    • Avenger:
Monsters with this affix become stronger when their ally dies. At the same time, their strength, attack speed, health reserve and other characteristics can increase.
    • Total health:
Such monsters have a common health pool, and the damage dealt is distributed evenly.
    • Fire chains:
These monsters are linked by fiery chains that burn everything they touch. When killing one monster from the group, the length of the chain is reduced, and its mobility is reduced.
    • Orbital:
Monsters with this property can fill an entire area with blobs of energy, dealing lightning damage to anyone who touches them.
    • Horde:
Such monsters do not have outstanding abilities, but they walk in large groups.
    • Defiler:
Defilers create boiling pools at your feet. A few seconds after being created, these puddles begin to bubble up, dealing massive damage (if not exited in time).
    • Weakens projectiles:
Monsters with this affix are surrounded by a field that slows your projectiles, making ranged attacks less effective.
    • Drops:
When you are hit by a monster with this affix, you are knocked back from it, your current attack is interrupted, and your movement speed is reduced.
    • Reflect Damage:
When monsters with this affix take damage, some of it is returned to the attacker. This feature periodically disappears and reappears. By looking at the monster, it will be possible to determine whether it reflects damage at the moment or not.
    • Hot:
Monsters with this affix follow a trail of boiling lava, and upon death, their corpses explode, dealing significant fire damage.
    • Orbs of Cold:
Monsters with this property are able to summon an ice ball that will roll across the battlefield, dealing damage over time.
    • Teleports:
Monsters with this affix can disappear and reappear in different places on the screen, both in order to inflict a sudden blow, and in order to avoid an attack.
    • Jailer:
Such monsters can “cage” you for a while, inflict damage on you and immobilize you. You remain vulnerable to attacks, but you can escape the «cage» with some defensive skills.
    • Wormhole:
Monsters with this property are able to cause a couple of magical rifts on the battlefield. After a few seconds, a wormhole will appear from the rift, and all nearby characters will be teleported to another rift.
    • Plague:
Spill poisonous puddles under them, which deal increasing poison damage. Try not to stand in them, even if you need to attack enemies in close combat!
    • Shield:
Such monsters can apply a magic shield on themselves for a while, which makes them immune to any kind of damage.
    • Electric charge:
When you hit monsters with this affix, they fire lightning bolts that deal electricity damage on contact.

Not all monsters that enter Sanctuary bring death and destruction. Greedy, heartless greedy goblins do not care about other people’s conflicts, the most important thing for them is the accumulation of wealth. Rumor has it that they enter Sanctuary from their world, called the Treasury, through special portals that continue to operate for some time after the death of the goblin who opened them. There are many varieties of goblins, but they are all equally cowardly and prefer to flee. The doors to the Goblin Treasury can only be opened in adventure mode. You will know that a greedy goblin is lurking nearby by a characteristic chuckle and a special icon on the mini-map indicating the location of the monster.

Goblins loot and steal anything that isn’t nailed down. These vile thieves will run away at the first sign of danger, and gold, gems, items and other valuables will fall from their bags. If you manage to kill the goblin before he escapes, then all his prey will be yours!

When it comes to collecting gems, no one can compare with the collector. Even in monster-infested caverns, demon dwellings, and fortified Nephalem outposts, these goblins hunt for treasure—they’ll go anywhere. Killed gem collectors drop stones of various denominations on the ground.

Greed, a sin inherent in both demons and nephalems, found its embodiment in Baron Zlatnik, who always carries a bag of gold with him. Once and for all, you will forget about financial problems if you catch Zlatnik.

For a blood thief, there is only one value — blood shards, which, according to rumors, are either pieces of the stone of the universe, or captured souls of demons. Rid Sanctuary of Blood Thieves and you’ll have enough Blood Shards to haggle with some… unorthodox item vendors.

The materials from which jewelers and blacksmiths make their masterpieces are of great interest to vile collectors. If you look into the Gatherer’s Bag, you’re sure to find a huge amount of materials and new sketches for artisans.

Malevolent tormentors go crazy over the legendary items that have become an integral attribute of the Eternal Confrontation. These goblins will stop at nothing to capture valuable relics. They are constantly teleporting from place to place so as not to risk losing their loot. For killing a malevolent tormentor, the hero will receive at least one legendary item, as well as other valuables.

Senors Sinister are often found on the battlefield, dragging bags of weapons behind them. These goblins wear armor too heavy for such a puny being. Despite their thoughtless choice of equipment, the Sinisters have learned a thing or two from their wanderings across Sanctuary. If they are in danger, they call for the help of the servants of the treasury to delay the attackers and allow the goblins to escape.

But Sir Studen will try to save treasures at any cost. For example, it can split into several juveniles, which, after death, are divided into several more tiny creatures. Each Studen brings great riches, but you will need to defeat an entire army before you can get them.

Extremely rare rainbow goblins are different from their counterparts and live in another dimension. Upon death, they drop normal loot to the ground and open a prismatic portal to the enchanting Wonder Valley, rather than the Treasury.
