Is this where it all begins? Is the new Alienware 34 AW3423DW QD-OLED the gaming monitor that sparks an OLED revolution on the PC? The one we’ve been waiting years for? Please, please, let it be so.

As you’ll see, this monitor isn’t perfect. But it is dramatically better than any LCD-based monitor by several gaming-critical metrics. And it’s a genuine thrill to use. Of course, that’s getting ahead of ourselves. First, we need to cover off the basics.

By many measures, this isn’t really a radical display. The 34-inch 21:9 proportions, the gentle 1800R curve and the 3,440 by 1,440 native resolution are all relatively routine in the current gaming monitor market. Ditto the 175Hz refresh rate. It’s no slouch, this new OLED panel, but there are LCD screens with much higher refresh rates available for far less cash.

Ah yes, the sordid matter of money. The AW3423DW weighs in at $1,299 in the US (UK pricing hasn’t landed yet). Depending on how you slice it, that’s either a tonne of cash for a gaming monitor or surprisingly reasonable for something at the vanguard of new technology. After all, this is the first true PC gaming panel based on OLED technology.

And not just any old OLED kit. Many OLED TVs, including the LG sets that have become so popular among gamers, use WRGB subpixel substructure to boost brightness at the cost of diluting colour saturation. WRGB can also be problematic for PC applications that assume an RGB subpixel structure for fine control of rendering, including for fonts. That problem isn’t really relevant for gaming. But the bottom line is that WRGB OLED panels come with downsides.

That’s why this new Alienware is doubly exciting. Not only is it OLED, it’s also Samsung’s hot new QD-LED tech, which combines the ideal RGB subpixel structure with quantum dot technology to produce both excellent colour saturation and an even brighter panel. Net result? Alienware is claiming both an impressive 99.3 percent coverage of the demanding DCI-P3 colour space and fully 1,000 nits brightness, albeit that brightness level can only be achieved on a small portion of the panel, not across the entire screen.

Common to all OLED tech are two critical advantages over any LCD panel, namely contrast and response. Put simply, every pixel in an OLED panel is its own light source, which can be turned completely off, essentially delivering ‘true’ black levels and more or less infinite contrast. There’s no need for any of that complicated, problematic local dimming to stop the light from leaking through an LCD panel. OLED is the real HDR deal.

OLED is also far faster than LCD. By how much depends on how you measure things. The fastest current IPS monitors are quoted at around 1ms for grey-to-grey response. But that only measures part of the transition between colours. The full change takes much longer. By comparison, Alienware is quoting this OLED panel at 0.1ms. And that’s likely for the full transition. It’s at least an order of magnitude faster.

Anyway, if that’s a quick refresher as to why this thing promises to be so good, what is it actually like? First impressions are actually disappointing. Fired up in SDR mode, the Alienware 34 AW3423DW QD-OLED looks a little dull and dingy. What happened to that 1,000 nits claim? Then there’s the mediocre pixel density that comes as a consequence of the combination of 34-inch diagonal and 3,440 by 1,440 native resolution. Oh the horror, is this thing a dud?

Don’t panic. Unlike LCD monitors with claimed HDR capability, this OLED screen needs to be in HDR mode to do its thing. And that applies to SDR content, too. Alienware has provided two HDR modes, HDR 400 True Black and HDR Peak 1000. The latter enables that maximum 1,000 nit performance in small areas of the panel but actually looks less vibrant and punchy most of the time.

Instead, it’s the HDR 400 True Black mode that generally gives the best results. That includes SDR content. For SDR content to look its best, you have to jump into the Windows Display Settings menu and crank the SDR brightness up, after which it’s much more zingy all around. That’s actually handy because it means that once you have the AW3423DW set up properly, you’re all done. There’s no need to switch modes for SDR and HDR content.

But let’s get back to gaming. Boy, this is a special display. In response terms, it’s incredible. No matter how violently you tear your mouse across the mat, everything on-screen stays so crisp and clear and sharp. That incredible in-game response is backed up by test animations like TestUFO. We’ve never seen the little alien spacecraft look so blur-free.

As for the colours and contrast, this panel is the absolute bomb. There’s so much depth, saturation and clarity to the in-game image thanks to that per-pixel lighting. All of a sudden, every LCD monitor ever seems like you’re looking through a filter, like they’re all just a tiny bit watery and translucent.

Want examples? With many supposedly HDR-capable panels, Cyberpunk 2077 actually looks best in SDR mode. Not with this Alienware. In HDR mode, shafts of sunlight positively pop in outdoor scenes, while the deep, inky blacks contrast dramatically with neon light sources indoors. It really is something special.

Heck, even typically underwhelming titles—in visual terms—like Call of Duty: Warzone look great thanks to the quantum dot-enhanced saturation and speedy response. The slight softening of the image that you have to put up with pretty much any LCD panel when flying around maps in online shooters and other fast-paced games simply isn’t there.

If all this sounds a little hyperbolic, it doesn’t actually mean that all LCD monitors are now awful. In fact, when it comes to refresh rates and therefore latency, LCD monitors with 360Hz-plus refresh are clearly quicker. Latency is traditionally a weak point for OLED, and while we didn’t sense any subjective issue with this 175Hz monitor, there’s little doubt that if your gaming fun and success hinges on having the lowest possible latency, there are faster screens available.

Latency isn’t the only OLED-related issue, of course. Burn-in is the great fear and that leads to a few quirks. For starters, you’ll occasionally notice the entire image shifting by a pixel or two. The panel is actually overprovisioned with pixels by about 20 in both axes, providing plenty of leeway. It’s a little like the overprovisioning of memory cells in an SSD and it allows Alienware to prevent static elements from “burning” into the display over time.

Image 1 of 8

(Image credit: Future)(Image credit: Future)(Image credit: Future)(Image credit: Future)(Image credit: Future)(Image credit: Future)(Image credit: Future)(Image credit: Future)

The other anti-burn-in measure is an ABL (Automatic Brightness Limiter) system. Look carefully, and you’ll see the overall panel brightness varying a little in response to what’s on the screen. A large bright object, for instance, will cause the panel to dim slightly in order to control overall power consumption and protect the panel. It’s not terribly intrusive, but it is something to be aware of. Alienware reassuringly provides three-year cover for the risk of OLED burn-in.

If time will tell if that ever proves a significant problem, what we can say for sure, at this price point, is that there are better general-purpose panels with superior pixel density, higher resolution, and more desktop screen real-estate. The lack of USB-C connectivity is also a limitation for broader usability. If you want a really large display, a 120Hz OLED TV for similar money is likewise clearly better value.

What’s more, it’s worth noting you can only achieve the full 175Hz with the single DisplayPort input. The two HDMI sockets are limited to 100Hz. It’s just one of the reasons why this thing ain’t a great choice for pairing with the latest games consoles. It’s really only optimised for use with a PC. But for most types of gaming on that very platform, this is as good as it currently gets. Put simply, the Alienware 34 AW3423DW sets new standards for contrast, HDR performance and response.

The gaming monitor market is continuously growing, and finding the ideal monitor for your needs is becoming easier. Depending on the games you play and your price range, you’ll need a different monitor than someone else. Most gaming monitors have variable refresh rate (VRR) support, low input lag, and a quick response time for smooth motion. However, the included extra features, like HDMI 2.1 bandwidth for gaming on the PS5 or Xbox Series X|S make higher-end monitors better than cheaper ones. There are others with a higher refresh rate and lower resolution for more competitive esports gaming, so there’s no perfect solution for everyone.

We’ve bought and tested over 275 monitors, and below, you’ll find our recommendations for the best gaming monitors to buy. Also, see our picks for the best 4k gaming monitors, the best 240Hz monitors, and the best budget and cheap gaming monitors.

The best gaming monitor we’ve tested is the Dell Alienware AW3423DW. It’s an ultrawide gaming monitor that doesn’t have the highest resolution or refresh rate compared to other monitors, but it has incredible motion handling and remarkable picture quality. It has a QD-OLED display that makes blacks look deep and inky in dark rooms, and it displays a wide range of vivid colors with bright highlights.

It’s an excellent gaming monitor, providing a near-instantaneous response time, resulting in incredibly smooth motion without any visible blur. It also has a 175Hz refresh rate that you can achieve over a DisplayPort connection. Lastly, it natively supports G-SYNC variable refresh rate (VRR) technology to reduce screen tearing, which is beneficial if you have an NVIDIA graphics card and want to take full advantage of it. If you have an AMD graphics card instead, the Dell Alienware AW3423DWF is a similar monitor that’s a bit cheaper and has native FreeSync VRR support.

Unfortunately, there are some drawbacks to its QD-OLED panel. OLEDs are prone to burn-in when exposed to the same static elements over time, but this isn’t a major issue for most gamers. If you’re concerned about it, some fantastic high-end LED-backlit gaming monitors are available. The Samsung Odyssey Neo G8 S32BG85 and the Samsung Odyssey Neo G7 S32BG75 are excellent 4k gaming monitors that get even brighter thanks to their Mini LED backlighting. Still, they don’t display the same perfect blacks.

If you don’t like ultrawide monitors, an upper mid-range model like the LG 27GR95QE-B is a great alternative. It’s different from the Dell Alienware AW3423DW, as there are a few trade-offs you need to make because it’s a cheaper monitor. The LG has a traditional OLED panel instead of the QD-OLED panel on the Dell, which means that colors look more muted in HDR, and it doesn’t get as bright. Besides the differences, the LG still delivers the same deep blacks and excellent overall picture quality in dark rooms.

On top of the excellent picture quality, it’s even a fantastic gaming monitor with a high 240Hz refresh rate that’s ideal for playing games at a high refresh rate. It has a fast response time with high refresh rates, but there’s some overshoot at low refresh rates, resulting in white blur trails behind fast-moving objects. It also has low input lag for a responsive feel and FreeSync VRR support with G-SYNC compatibility to reduce screen tearing.

If you aren’t willing to spend a ton on your next gaming monitor but still want excellent performance for console and PC gaming, check out the Gigabyte M32U instead. Its overall picture quality isn’t as good as the LG 27GR95QE-B because it doesn’t have an OLED panel, meaning it can’t display the same deep blacks. However, it does present a few extra advantages, like its bigger screen size and higher 4k resolution compared to the LG. The high resolution helps deliver sharper images, which is great if you like playing detailed games.

It has HDMI 2.1 bandwidth for console gaming, as you can take full advantage of the Xbox Series X|S and PS5. It’s also excellent even if you game from a PC, thanks to its low input lag, 144Hz refresh rate, and fast response time across its entire refresh rate range. It has FreeSync VRR support to reduce screen tearing and is G-SYNC compatible. If you find the 32-inch screen size too big, there’s a smaller version, the Gigabyte M28U, that you can get for cheaper, but it has worse ergonomics and doesn’t get as bright.

If you don’t need a high-resolution monitor and prefer an option in the lower mid-range price category for PC gaming, then the LG 32GP850-B is a great choice. It has a lower 1440p resolution than the Gigabyte M32U, so images aren’t as sharp, but it has a slightly higher 180Hz max refresh rate. If you find that the 32-inch screen is too big, you can also get the 27-inch LG 27GP850-B/27GP83B-B for cheaper, which performs the same, so you can’t go wrong with either of the models you get.

The 32GP850-B’s response time is fantastic at its max refresh rate and remains quick even with at low refresh rates. It has a backlight-strobing feature to reduce persistence blur and improve the appearance of motion, and gaming feels responsive thanks to its low input lag. It also has FreeSync VRR support and G-SYNC compatibility to reduce screen tearing. Lastly, it has a few extra gaming features, like a virtual crosshair that gives you a competitive advantage while playing FPS games.

There are plenty of options if you want something on a budget. You’ll have to sacrifice a few features, but you can still get a monitor with impressive gaming performance, like the ViewSonic XG2431. It has a lower resolution than the LG 32GP850-B and a smaller screen, so it doesn’t deliver the same immersive gaming experience. However, it also has a higher 240Hz refresh rate, making it a great choice for competitive PC gaming, and due to its low resolution, it isn’t taxing on your graphics card either.

The high refresh rate helps provide an extremely fast response time, and the monitor has low input lag for a responsive feel. It also has an optional backlight strobing feature to reduce persistence blur, and unlike many monitors, you can control the flicker of it to your liking. While images aren’t very sharp due to the 1080p resolution, the image clarity is still decent enough to see details in your games. If image clarity is important, check out the Gigabyte M27Q, a budget-friendly 1440p monitor. However, it has a lower 170Hz refresh rate, meaning the ViewSonic still offers the best gaming performance.

If you need a basic monitor for gaming that doesn’t cost much, consider the Acer Nitro XF243Y Pbmiiprx. It has a 1080p resolution and 24-inch screen size like the ViewSonic XG2431, but with a lower 165Hz refresh rate, this monitor is better for casual gamers who don’t play games at a high refresh rate or for those getting into PC gaming for the first time. While its motion handling isn’t as good as on the ViewSonic, it still has an excellent response time at its max refresh rate and is great at 120Hz. However, there’s inverse ghosting when you have VRR enabled at 60Hz, meaning there’s a white trail behind fast-moving objects.

Speaking of VRR, it has FreeSync support like the ViewSonic, and it’s also G-SYNC compatible if you have an NVIDIA graphics card. It has a backlight-strobing feature that isn’t as customizable as that on the ViewSonic, but if you prefer not to use it, the backlight remains flicker-free, which can help reduce eye strain during long gaming sessions. Its input lag is also low, no matter the refresh rate.

The Gigabyte M27Q X is an excellent 1440p gaming monitor with a higher refresh rate than the LG 32GP850-B. It usually costs just a bit more than the LG, but it’s also hard to find.

              BEST GAMING MONITORS — 10 high-performance models

Diagonal, technology, matrix — this, and not only, determines the image and effects in the game. We will make your choice easier and show you the TOP 10 gaming monitors with powerful parameters. It remains to choose the best of all, but we do not promise that it will be easy.

Gigabyte Aorus M32QC: curved and impressive The

Gigabyte M32QC combines its predecessor’s VA panel with the added functionality of its M-series counterpart. Let’s see what this top gaming monitor contender can do.

Compared to previous models in the range, the design does not look too updated. An interesting difference is the matte black chassis on the back. When unpacking, it’s hard not to be surprised by the dimensions of the monitor. The screen is large and deep due to the curved design, so check in advance if there is enough space on the table for it. The build quality deserves respect: the plastic is durable, the stand is stable, although it can stagger if it is accidentally pushed.

The picture on the screen is really impressive. Many gamers might be under the impression that large 1440p monitors aren’t very crisp, but the Aorus M32QC proves otherwise. It is easy to notice small objects, such as snipers peeking from afar. Visibility and legibility on such a monitor is better, it is great for reading and browsing the web.

Displaying 100% sRGB and 94% DCI-P3 makes the picture clear in games and movies. The default accuracy is not perfect, deltaE is 2.67, but this is optimal for extended gamut coverage.

              2. Tendency to motion blur — in too fast scenes, clarity may be lacking.
              3. USB-C power is limited to 18 W — this may affect the picture quality when connecting additional screens.

The device is perfect for those who want to get fast shots, smooth movement and transitions.

However, the device is far from perfect, as MSI had to go to some lengths to meet the price point. There aren’t many connectivity options here, and VA panel pixel response times could be improved to match alternative models.

If you’re looking for the ultimate gaming experience, look no further than large, high-resolution IPS displays. Their cost is as high as the quality. Simplified models with a smaller diagonal and TN and VA technologies can also have good performance, while the price is much more affordable.

It’s important to balance your expectations and requirements wisely, then you’ll be able to choose the best monitor for fast-paced gaming.

In recent years, as more monitor manufacturers offer affordable curved models, the choice of device form factor has become an increasingly important issue. At first glance, curved display monitors provide the user with a number of useful benefits. Their most obvious plus is that the surface of the curved display better fills the peripheral vision of a person sitting at a computer. This greatly facilitates viewing the corners of the image and reduces eye strain: they have to move less.

At the same time, curved monitors contribute to the immersive effect of watching movies or playing video games — in this regard, they work in the same way as curved screens in cinemas. It seems to the viewer that he is no longer looking at a flat picture, but is in the middle of the action, so that all the brightest moments of the film and the game become even more exciting.

Much more controversial is the attitude of users and experts to the color reproduction of curved monitors. On the one hand, the rounded display allows the viewer to look at the edges of the image from a smaller angle. This avoids the distortion that is inevitably caused when viewing the picture on the monitor from the side. On the other hand, graphics and video professionals still often shy away from rounded monitors, as the unusual form factor makes it difficult for them to accurately appreciate colors and all the details in an image. In addition, a curved display is much more prone to glare from both natural and artificial light sources.

For comfortable work with such a monitor, it is recommended to take care of suitable conditions in the room: curtain the windows, get rid of the light of intense lamps, use directional lamps with diffused light. Another disadvantage may be the increased cost of such models, although they are becoming more affordable every year.

In short, the rounded monitor can be safely recommended to anyone who is looking for the maximum immersive effect in games. But since this form factor remains relatively new, in case you have never used a curved monitor, we recommend that you evaluate it in action before buying. This way you can make sure that your eyes are comfortable looking at the curved image. And, of course, to avoid glare, do not forget about arranging suitable lighting in the room.

Another perennial question is choosing the right sensor type. Most models on the market are equipped with one of the three most popular types: VA, IPS and TN. And this is the case when it is difficult to call one of the options unequivocally the best: each of them has its own advantages and disadvantages.

              TN (Twisted Nematic)

Considered obsolete technology: monitors with such matrices are often criticized for mediocre color reproduction and terrible viewing angles. When viewed from the side, from below or from above, the picture on the screen is distorted beyond recognition. But TN monitors have two significant advantages at once that can attract gamers. Firstly, they are extremely cheap to manufacture, so the price tag on them usually pleases the buyer. And secondly, due to the specifics of the technology, TN matrices show an extremely low latency when outputting a video signal to the display — often within 1–2 ms. This is especially important for fans of dynamic competitive online games like Counter-Strike, Fortnite, Overwatch, Rocket League or FIFA. Indeed, in such games, every fraction of a second can be decisive and it is extremely important to quickly respond to changing circumstances — the movements of opponents or the flight of the ball. And the top TN models also demonstrate the highest refresh rate, which makes the animations on the screen incredibly smooth. Feel free to recommend TN-matrices to everyone who wants to save money and hack themselves in adrenaline multiplayer battles.

              VA (Vertical Alignment)

Almost the exact opposite of TN matrices. Their distinguishing features are high-quality color reproduction, wide viewing angles, a decent picture refresh rate and best-in-class contrast ratio. But for this they have to pay the price of the longest delay. Of course, manufacturers are constantly trying to offset this minus using modern technologies. But they often affect the cost of the device so much that a reasonable question arises: “Is it worth it?” Nevertheless, VA matrices will serve as an excellent service for fans of leisurely games like turn-based strategies and colorful single-player adventures with a measured pace.

              IPS (In-Plane Switching)

A kind of golden mean in this matrix trio. The technology is designed to combine all the main advantages of TN and VA matrices. And for the most part, she succeeds brilliantly! IPS monitors are usually recommended for those who do not have the time or desire to understand all the intricacies and who want to get a universal monitor for all occasions. Here, color reproduction is at the level, and the image refresh rate is in order, and viewing angles are pleasant …

IPS matrices remain worthy in all respects, but, alas, not the best. In terms of contrast, they are noticeably inferior to VA displays, and in terms of cost, response time and refresh rate, they are catching up against the background of TN matrices. This is not a problem if you just need a quality monitor for everyday use. But if you’re looking for the smoothest animations or record low latency, it makes sense to look at other models.

If it makes sense to save on anything when buying a monitor for video games, then on all sorts of design troubles: 360-degree rotating stands, RGB backlighting, panels made of expensive materials. Of course, it all looks pretty, but let’s be honest: your fps will not increase from multi-colored light bulbs. But the issue of resolution and screen refresh rate is much more complicated, and it should be discussed separately.

Many gaming monitor buyers fall into the same trap of trying to buy the model with the highest resolution and refresh rate without considering whether they really need it. They can be understood. After all, the higher the resolution, the sharper the picture! The more hertz, the smoother the animation! So it is. But first, it’s worth considering: will your hardware allow you to achieve such a picture and hertz? Let’s simulate the situation: let’s say you are building a computer to play modern games. But your assembly, taking into account the power of the processor, video card and RAM, is only enough to run them in 1080p and 60 fps. The question is: why would you spend money on a 4K monitor with a refresh rate of 240 Hz in this situation? To brag to your friends? Okay, refresh rate: at least it’s easy to adjust. But a 1080p picture stretched on a wide 4K monitor will look outrageously soapy!

We conclude from this: if you are buying a monitor for gaming, first decide on two things. What exactly are you going to play on it and in what format the existing hardware will allow you to run the desired games. Look at the tests of your video card, check what frame rate and resolution it produces in a particular game. And choose a monitor based on these parameters: this will help you avoid senseless overpayments. And be sure to take a look at our top gaming monitors of 2022: there you will definitely find a model with suitable characteristics!

Top 5 Best Budget Gaming Monitors

              Irbis Vieworld 20

              Screen Size: 20″

              Form Factor: Straight

              Sensor type: VA

              Resolution: 1600 × 900px

              Refresh Rate: 60Hz

9000 2 A good monitor from the super-budget price segment with very good characteristics for its price . Firstly, a VA-matrix is installed here, which provides high contrast and good viewing angles of 165 degrees horizontally and vertically. At the same time, the response time is 3.5 ms, which is acceptable by the standards of video games — with such a quick monitor response to a picture change, you can also play online games.

Secondly, the matte surface of the display protects it not only from sun glare, but also from fingerprints and other contaminants. A separate plus is the compact dimensions of the monitor: even with the stand, it does not take up much space on the table, so it can be safely advised to those who have to fight for every free cubic centimeter of space in the room. The device is equipped with HDMI and VGA ports, so it can be easily connected even to an old computer. But, of course, a resolution of 1600 × 900 pixels by today’s standards feels too small even for such a miniature monitor.

              Irbis Vieworld 22

              Screen size: 21.5″

              Form factor: straight

              Matrix type: VA

              9 0002 Resolution: 1920 × 1080 pixels

              Refresh rate: 60 Hz

              Response time: 3. 5 ms

              Price: $64.99*

              View product

Another device from the budget line from Irbis. But, unlike its younger brother, it can be recommended not only to those who want to save money and space at the table. We note right away that the model differs not only in the increased screen diagonal. The resolution here jumped to a perfectly acceptable 1920 × 1080 pixels with a 16:9 wide aspect ratio, and the vertical and horizontal viewing angles grew to 176 degrees. Thus, the picture on the screen will be detailed and colorful even when viewed from the side.

Three or four people can gather behind such a monitor and watch movies together or play games with local multiplayer. The standard picture refresh rate of 60 Hz is enough for comfortable immersion in modern games in 1080p/60 fps mode. If you have enough space for this monitor, then we recommend that you take a closer look at it as an extra-budget option. At an insignificant additional cost compared to the previous model, the Irbis Vieworld 22 provides too many advantages to refuse them.

              Thunderobot F23H60

              Screen size: 23.8″

              Form factor: straight

              Matrix type: IPS

              90 002 Resolution: 1920 × 1080 pixels

              Refresh rate: 75 Hz

              Response time: 6ms

              Price: $99*

8-bit color and a good contrast ratio of 3000:1. Separately, it is worth noting the increased image refresh rate of 75 Hz: a nice addition to the standard 60 frames per second will provide a smoother display of moving elements. Low Blue Light blocking technology is designed to reduce eye strain.

In addition to standard VGA and HDMI ports, there is a headphone input that allows you to connect speakers directly to the monitor. All cables necessary for connecting to the system unit are included in the kit. The only significant drawback of the model can be considered an impressive response speed of 6 ms: for single-player games this will not be a problem, but in online battles the advantage will no longer be on your side.

              HUAWEI Display 23.8’’ 75Hz

              Screen Diagonal: 23.8″

              Form factor: straight

              Sensor type: IPS

              Resolution: 1920 × 1080 pixels

              Update rate: 75Hz

              Response time: 5ms

              Price: 11 999 rubles*

              View product

Monitor from Huawei, in many ways similar to the previous model, but it has a number of tangible advantages against its background. The response time here is reduced to 5 ms — in competitive games, where every fraction of a second counts, even such a difference can play a decisive role. With an ultra-narrow bezel, the usable front panel area is 90%. At the same time, the thickness of the case is only 2 cm. Such a compact monitor can easily fit on the table. An inexpensive gaming device will look stylish and solid in any interior: from a work office to an avid gamer’s lair.

75 fps is enough for comfortable gaming. The viewing angles here are standard for IPS-type matrices — 178/178. This is enough to comfortably place several people in front of the screen at once, because the picture will not be distorted even when viewed from the side. There is an anti-reflective coating and technology for blocking blue radiation that is dangerous to the eyes.

              HUAWEI MateView SE SSN-24

              Screen size: 23.8″

              Form factor: straight

              Matrix type: IPS 9000 3

              Resolution: 1920 × 1080 pixels

              Frequency updates: 75 Hz

Let’s summarize the selection of budget models with another high-quality monitor from Huawei. MateView SE, in addition to the standard HDMI port, also supports the modern DisplayPort protocol. This makes it easy to connect it to the system unit as a second monitor without any adapters. This is doubly convenient, given that the stand allows you to rotate the screen by 90 degrees and achieve portrait orientation. A special technology that imitates the effect of electronic books with digital ink will help to read text from the screen without eye fatigue.

Gamers will enjoy separate sets of settings that provide the most accurate display of colors in virtual worlds. Moreover, you can switch between them without the need to minimize the game: for this, a small convenient joystick is provided on the monitor. This HDR-ready sRGB monitor is great for budget 1080p gaming.
