AMD Radeon R7 240 Series Specifications
VideoCardz.com was one of the first websites to tell you about the new Radeon naming scheme. Today we are the first to confirm Radeon R-200 GPUs and show you the photos. That’s if you’ve been wondering if the rumors about Radeon R-200 naming are even true. In fact they are. Since AMD forgot to invite me for the Hawaii announcement, I decided to announce their cards for them. While most of you eagerly await more Hawaii news (which are coming soon), manufacturers are slowly preparing their new line of products.
According to VR-Zone Radeon R7 Series will use Oland GPU. The R7 250 will be equipped with Oland XT and the R7 240 with Oland PRO. So far no details about this particular processor have emerged. It is slower than Bonaire XTX, but it could still be faster than Cape Verde. This could either mean that they have different GPU configuration. The Radeon R7 240 cards will be clocked lower than HD 7700 series (730 MHz with a boost clock of 780 MHz, yes, Boost Clock for the masses!). UPDATE: We believe that Radeon R7 250 and 240 are direct rebrands of OEM HD 8570 and HD 8670. That said Oland GPU is actually slower than Cape Verde due to lower number of ROPs (16vs8).

Radeon R7 240 Specifications This card will be available in two memory variants: 1GB GDDR5 and 2GB DDR3. The first one is clocked at effective 4600 MHz, while the other is running at 1800 MHz. Both models will use 128-bit memory interface. Also both cards are clocked at 730 MHz. This the actual clock speed of the Radeon HD 8570, the OEM model you have probably never heard of. Radeon R7 250 Specifications All Radeon R7 250 graphics cards are clocked at 1000 MHz with a boost at 1050 MHz. This is a direct rebrand of HD 8670. The R7 250 will use Oland XT with more streaming processors, although the number is still unknown. The R7 250 will either use DDR5 or GDDR5 memory with the same clock speeds as R7 240s. The launch date and the price were not revealed.

- The information on this page contains estimations based on hash rate measurements submitted by our users. Due to software and hardware glitches, some users submit exaggeratedly high or exaggeratedly low hash rates that don’t correspond to reality. Thus, the estimations calculated for some video cards are either too high or too low.
- Please don’t make hardware purchase decisions based solely on this information, or
disappointment may follow. Please do more comprehensive research before purchasing hardware, and confirm the hash
rate and daily income from multiple sources. - Also, keep in mind that the crypto mining income may be highly variable because of multiple factors such as difficulty and exchange rate variation, mining algorithm changes that some coins do from time to time, and even pool luck.
- Make sure you deactivate all your antivirus programs, including Windows Defender’s Live Scanning
feature. All antivirus programs detect mining applications as viruses and delete files from
them, causing them to malfunction. This is called a false positive, a miner doesn’t cause any
harm. - If you understand, type in the box below to proceed with the download:
