Its purpose is to promote understanding and cooperation among these national organizations so that they work together and support each other in their efforts to promote research, improve education, and expand the uses of mathematics.
Position papers on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (2021), Active Learning (2016), Improving the First Two Year of College Mathematics (2015), the Common Core State Standards in Math (2013).
The goal of the CBMS Research Advisory Group is to inform the policy decisions that affect mathematics education.
