Xeon W3680 reviews
Intel chuckled during the Ivy Bridge and Haswell that they were losing profits and after that they screwed up prices, unscrewing compatibility.
I bought a new E3-1230v2 in 2013 (4 cores/8 threads, locked multiplier).
The choice then was simple: for the same price there were 3570k, 8-core FX and actually this zion. i7 2600k/3770k cost twice as much.
A distance of 5 years showed that Zion tore everyone to shreds. Yes, and on the used market, this particular one is now not very cheap.
