TUNING THE ATI
SUPER DAMPER FOR MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE
Extensive dyno and on-track testing has proven the Super Damper
far superior to all other designs, especially on engines that
turn over 5000 rpm.
Our dampers are used on performance and
endurance engines worldwide. Every Sprint Cup, Nationwide
Series, and Camping World Truck engine, and every ASA
LSI Vortec engine. GM’s Vortec off-road 6 cylinders,
the Katech World Challenge C5R Corvettes, and Viper
V10 engines. They all use the ATI Super Damper because
it has proven to be the most effective damper in the
world, thanks to it’s versitily and tunabilty.
To tune the Super Damper on such a wide range of high perfomance
engines, the dampers use seven different inertia weights from
1.2 to 4.5 lbs. Elastomer O-rings in 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, and
90 durometer are available to match a specific inertia weight
to a given engine to eliminate torsional twist of the crankshaft.
ATI’s
Super Damper™ field testing is performed by J.C. Beattie
utilizing Scentific Atlanta’s SA390-2 state-of-the-art Dynamic
Signal Analyzer and SA 250 torsional convertor. Coupled
to a custom designed optical encoder pickup that bolts directly
to the front of the damper, J.C. can read up to twenty orders
of harmonic vibration. He can then adjust inertia weight
and elastomer durometer to reduce specific orders on a given
engine. By analyzing the torsional crank twist and installing
the correct ATI damper, torsionals can be reduced to 2/10s
of a degree or less.

every Sprint Cup engine builder in the country and has

Marshal Group is implementing the ATI.
SU Platforms SaaS platform into its business processes
Marshal Group has integrated the ATI.SU Platforms logistics service from ATI.SU Freight Exchange into its own transportation ecosystem. The introduction of cloud-based tools made it possible to attract new carriers and improve communications with customers.
Marshall Group of Companies is an international holding specializing in road, rail, sea and air transportation. The group of companies provides logistics services for forwarding services to enterprises in Russia and plans to enter the market of the CIS countries in the near future.
To improve the quality of work and automate internal processes, Marshal’s management decided to use the logistics SaaS platform ATI.SU Sites, a service for organizing and automating road freight transportation: from cargo distribution to registration and analytics of cargo transportation.
At the end of the implementation, the company «Marshal» has:
- a new channel to attract the target pool of carriers;
- the possibility of prompt notification of carriers about new cargo on the site;
- the ability to create platforms for certain routes and directions;
- bidding functionality to save the budget;
- support for electronic document management through the ATI-Doki system;
- ready-made application templates for the most demanding customers;
- mechanism for automatic distribution of invitations to Marshal’s sites in corporate style;
- the ability to monitor transport during the flight.
The project took about two months to complete. In order to speed up the process, responsible employees were assigned to the Marshal company who were engaged in the integration of new tools, and also actively interacted with their personal manager ATI.SU to attract carriers to the sites and consult on the functionality.
As a result of the implementation of the «ATI.SU Platforms» service, it was possible to increase the conversion of order closing by an average of 10-15%, depending on the complexity of the direction, the volume of cargo, the number of carriers and other factors.
Currently, 19 target sites have already been created, including 18 specialized for certain directions, where today there are more than 2000 cargo carriers. There was an opportunity to conduct auctions in popular destinations.
In the process of implementation, the process of interaction with contractors was improved, it became possible to form a permanent pool of carriers without the use of CRM tools. Regular carriers now have the opportunity to set special conditions for cooperation. Also, changes were made to the offer agreement that allow accounting operations with applications to be carried out directly through ATI-Docs, a system of legally significant electronic document management for participants in the freight transportation market.
As a bonus, Marshal employees were able to test the Active Carrier Search tool, which also helped to attract new contractors. The service issues a ranked list of carriers from ATI.SU that meet the criteria of the customer’s request, this helps to select the most suitable candidates for cooperation.
“Implementation of the ATI.SU Platform cloud tools allowed us to automate and speed up the procedure for conducting electronic trading, improve data exchange with carriers, and reduce financial costs and the impact of the human factor at all stages of interaction with counterparties. We intend to integrate all the capabilities of the ATI.
SU Sites into our single digital ecosystem based on Bitrix-24 and 1C as part of the transition to Russian-made software solutions,” – commented Mikhail Belousov, General Director of Marshal Group of Companies.
“Today, when the cargo transportation market in Russia and the CIS countries is being rebuilt literally on the go under the influence of growing demand and the formation of new routes, it is extremely important to optimize each stage of the supply chain in order to remain competitive. We are glad that ATI.SU tools help companies work more efficiently and minimize costs,” noted Svyatoslav Vilde, founder and director of ATI.SU Freight Exchange.
ATI.SU Freight Exchange has launched individual settings in the Orders service
ATI.SU Freight Exchange has updated the Orders service, which allows you to fully arrange cargo transportation through ATI. SU. Users have access to an updated view of the cargo card, an improved interface for the “Your cargo”, “Orders from you” and “Reports” sections, the ability to specify the time of booking and other individual configurations. New personal settings make the system as flexible and customizable as possible for the business processes of cargo carriers, and work with cargo and orders is more convenient.
The «Orders» service helps shippers and carriers arrange transportation in just a few clicks: from agreeing on conditions and processing documents to analytics. To save time, it is enough to fill in the data once in the section for secure data storage on ATI.SU — «References». In the future, they will be automatically pulled into document templates, which allows you to avoid errors. The service within the ATI.SU ecosystem automates data exchange with counterparties, makes it possible to use electronic document management, conduct online monitoring of transport and ensures maximum transportation security.
In the updated version of «Orders», the look of the cargo card has seriously changed — it has become compact and is displayed in a tabular format. The display of columns and their order can be changed. As in the «Orders from you» section. Such customized field settings help users work with data on ATI.SU in a familiar spreadsheet interface and seamlessly transition from corporate systems to the Orders service. The navigation of the sections «Your cargo», «Orders from you» and «Reports» has also been improved.
Two more new individual settings of the service — adjusting the time of booking cargo and the ability to disable the carrier’s «I will specify the data later» field. By default, all cargo in the system is booked for half an hour. To change the interval, the carrier can contact an ATI.SU consultant, and the setting will be enabled for all new requests for the carriage of goods. The same mechanism works for deleting the «I will specify the data later» field. If it is important for the cargo owner that the carriers, when taking the cargo, immediately indicate the driver and transport, then through the consultant he can remove the opportunity to provide information later.
