What does our ECS warranty cover?
We offer 1 year warranty as standard and additional years can be added to fit your needs. During the coverage period if your product fails we will offer a Next Business Day replacement. If we are unable to replace the product we will refund its original selling price. Shipping costs and tax are not refundable. Express Computer Systems retains the right to decide whether the goods will be replaced or refunded.
What is not covered by our warranty?
Our warranty does not cover any problem caused by the following conditions:
- accidents; misuse; carelessness; electrostatic discharge; shock; temperature or humidity beyond the specifications of the product; improper installation; operation; modification;
- any improper use that contravenes the instructions in the user manual;
- problems caused by other equipment.
Our warranty is void if the product is returned with damaged, removed, counterfeit labels, or any modifications (including any component or external cover removal). Our warranties do not cover data loss or damages to any other equipment. In addition, our warranties do not cover incidental damages, consequential damages, or costs related to data recovery, removal, and installation.

The Xeon e5 2670 was very popular before the massive price cuts for older models and the introduction of second generation processors.
Thanks to a fairly balanced single-core and multi-core performance, it still shows a good level of performance. However, when building from scratch, it makes sense to pay attention to newer models, such as the 2650 v2.

Overclocking is performed directly in Windows, through the SetFSB program. The main requirement is that the motherboard must be based on a server chipset.
Cooling
To remove heat, you need a tower cooler with 3-4 heat pipes. If long-term high loads are planned, it is better to give preference to the most massive models. Do not forget about the ventilation of the case, which plays a rather important role. Of the models available on aliexpress, the Snowman MT4 is considered the best option, but you can immediately take the six-pipe model, which costs almost the same.

Before buying a massive cooler, it is better to make sure that it will fit in the case.
It is also worth considering that some models of motherboards have RAM slots close enough to the socket, which can also cause problems when installing large cooling systems.
Performance and tests
8 cores and 16 threads allow you to safely use the model for rendering, working with photos, audio and other parallel tasks. If 8 cores is not enough, but the clock speed is not critical, you should pay attention to the initial 10-core stones of the next generation, for example 2660 v2.
