Huananzhi X99 motherboard features

Huananzhi X99 TF motherboard is a device designed for socket 2011-3. This model is characterized by a modern design and some unique characteristics. To date, this board is one of the best options among Chinese «motherboards» for this socket.

Huananzhi X99 TF has the following properties:

• device is equipped with X99\C612 socket;

• this model implements timing control;

• DDR3, DDR4 memory supported;

• the most allowable frequency for DDR3 is 2133 MHz, for DDR4 — 2400 MHz;

• device provides 3 slots for PCI-e X16 and 2 slots for PCI-e X1;

• Huananzhi X99 TF uses one connector for the CPU cooler, one for 4 for the case and three for 3 pin for the case;

• Huananzhi motherboards support the connection of Intel Core, Xeon 1600, 2600 chips.

Huananzhi X99 TF’s first feature concerns the appearance. Some components of the device are borrowed from devices from Asrock and Asus. This model provides four slots for DDR3 and DDR4 RAM modules. In the first case, these are gray connectors, in the second — black. Thus, the maximum allowable amount of RAM is 128 GB. But, of course, it will not work to combine two different types of «RAM» with each other.

As for the CPU power subsystem, it consists of six phases. Two small fans built into the heatsink above the VRM provide good cooling. It is worth noting that Huananzhi X99 TF is the first Chinese motherboard to implement such a cooling system. Also, the device is equipped with a built-in speaker and power and reset buttons.

The native BIOS in these «motherboards» is built on a traditional code, so it does not provide a beautiful interface. Accordingly, the user has fewer opportunities for upgrading and tuning than when using branded boards. At the same time, there are much more of them when compared with other Chinese counterparts.

How to increase the frequency of DDR3 memory:

1. Open BIOS and reset operating parameters with F9. To do this, you can also go to the «Save and Exit» subsection.

2. Enter the memory settings. In the Memories Frequency submenu, you can define the frequency of the device.

3. After this value is set, in the Memory Timings section, you need to change the value from Auto to Manual. If this moment is missed, the settings will not be saved.

4. Save the configuration and restart the computer. After that, you can return to the BIOS to reconfigure the timings.

For an unlocked CPU, the maximum possible frequency for DDR4 can be no more than 2400 MHz. If this element is disabled, its maximum frequency will not exceed that specified by the manufacturer. Huananzhi X99 TF also provides the ability to work with timings and overclock the memory controller to work with voltage.
